Just so you know, SMCI just did an offering and can’t give advanced guidance like it has in the past due to 40 day rule. Also, they didn’t give advanced guidance in Oct 23 and after beat expectations and the stock and entire market broke out big time.

I agree. The CyberJunk is an actual joke and I don't understand why they wasted the R&D on that instead of a more convential yet future looking EV truck?!?! Or like you said, go balls to the wall with a 25K EV for the masses?!?! This is the reason why this company is tanking right now when it comes to earnings.
Nope, Tesla is escaping the slow down in the economy and especially the EV market by remaining focused on the high end - rich people always have money.
The Cybertruck is selling well. As you can see there are no price cuts there. Why? Because every wealthy person wants one. It is a money printing machine as the margins are super high. Margins on a 25k would be much lower, although I personally want that car in my garage. The CT and things like 48V, Drive By Wire and manufactoring techniques also needed to first be developed on an expensive car that pays the R&D before it can trickly down to the "Model 2"
Tesla should have initially come out with a small truck based on model Y to compete in the Santa Cruz space. They would have been able to share model Y production line and been able to go into production almost immediately. They still could have worked on cyber truck which took years.
@@interuniversal321 I think that market has hit saturation. All the rich people have bought all the Teslas they're going to buy. I think all those preorders for the Cyber Truck will evaporate now that everyone sees what a piece of junk it is.
Michael, something you have yet to understand is that’s musk literally doesn’t care about the stock price right now, it benefits him tremendously for the stock to go lower so her can get more shares if his pay package is approved!

Rate cuts are a quick fix that shoots itself in the foot. 2022 tesla owners are underwater on their loans as the sales price has dropped faster than they can pay off the loans. This will not only kill commercial fleet business but is reducing the repeat business which is the easiest business to get.
For future estimates it is interesting (at least for me), that in January 2nd Tesla predicted bang on (at least for Q1) global EV market to be 22% and dropped their sales growth estimate from 38% to 22% YoY in this year. Then Tesla failed that target by 30% and its sales fell almost 9%. There seems to be a paradigm shift here.
If my limit buy gets rejected again I'm going into War mode.

Appreciate your content. You mentioned margins haven’t stabilized, but cutting prices on S& X are low volume vehicles, and the Y price cuts place it back to its March 1 price (2 $1K price increases followed by a $2K price drop). Y Margins unchanged for most of this year. I’ve never heard Wall Street talk about demand as a function of price, they just change the vehicle price cell in their spreadsheet and complain that things go down. Demand increase due to price cuts can offset decreased margins.

If you don't want to play the long game, go to Vegas, you can't beat bots in the short term, maybe sometimes, but not more often than not.
Many big hedge fund people said the same thing and have been shorting the hell out of it. My friend is a Captain for one of them and hears them talking about it all the time and gets little info nuggets.

I dont really see a 10b to 12b gap for expenses when they layed off 20% of employees. You have to think that the layoff should cover the gap.
How is this bad? This is great! after 9/11. Royal Caribbean stock fell down to only a few dollars/share. 1 year later, it was up 1000%. I bought it at pretty much the lowest price. Let Tesla go down. They'd have to royally screw things up to not make this the most valuable company in the world some day. It's not going down... it's going on sale !

Because a large portion of the stock value was based on a huge sales growth model only provided by the model 2. The 3 is old garbage and sales are stagnant. No model 2, no sales hits. Lower cash flow, earnings, sales yada yada

Musk has to be organized and not just go on some technical tangent but I think the most important thing is the model 2. I've been driving on the free month of FSD and it blows me away how good it is but still not perfect and it has to be perfect, but even if they get the last part figured out quickly they still have to work with the government to get it regulated... and what if there government punts it an says it up to each state whether they approve it or not. I don't think they should push that model 2 back, it's what WS wants and they are the ones that move the stock.
You said in the beginning of the video Elon in war mode, whatever that means... I think it means a commitment to profitability, refocusing , etc and I don't think those two executives left on their own. All that being said, if the shareholder vote is a no regarding Elon's pay package. I'll be selling my shares. Last thing if you look at a weekly or monthly looks like a big head and shoulders that could take the stock to about 50 or 60 IMO

The biggest issue out there is that all these questions and worries that stockholders have are not what Elon cares about. He is only worried about the big picture for Tesla, not the near-term stock growth so investors are happy. He is going to do his thing and grow the company the way he sees is best regardless of the stock price and investors worries. In fact, we all know he would rather take the company private if he could.
