I trade entirely differently, but with similar profit results. For my purposes, I don't look for "general" support and resistance areas, but I get very close to market action, usually with a 2-minute chart, and I strive to identify the exact bar when the imminent move can be first identified. I have become quite good at this. Because of the exactness, I am usually able to really limit losses and know if the move is not panning out as foreseen. But usually it works very well right on schedule.

If you are swing trading find stocks with big well known catalysts, like MARA, RIOT, and other Crypto miners. If you are day trading the early bird gets the worm, even if you don't trade early evaluate the Market early and you gain a unique perspective. Other than that you could try Futures but make sure you understand what you are trading!

Like 95% of others here on RUclips that are posting day trading content.. he is waiting for the end of the day and then going back to whatever that stock actually did. Find the people that post their losses in a real money account and learn as they talk their way through how they misinterpreted the information that was being presented BEFORE they hit the buy button. That is where the lessons get learned. Anybody can post a profitable day recap and create endless fictitious puzzle pieces to validate a successful session. Very few stocks have obvious bands of support and resistance where the reversal of momentum can be accurately predicted on a consistent basis. Experience comes with exposure.

I think you should clarify if the "200 day" moving average you're referencing is actually the daily time-frame moving average extrapolated onto the 5 min chart, OR, whether you mean the 200 period 5 minute moving average, which is essentially a 1.44 daily period moving average given that 5 mins x 200 periods = 1000 mins / 60 mins = 16.67 hours. Not trying to cramp your strategy or whatever, because market price action is oftentimes fractal, just saying you should clarify so as not to cause confusion with beginning traders on the difference between setting up a daily "n" days period moving average vs a 5 min "n" period moving average on TOS charts. Just my own two cents, but I keep a 9 period and 180 period simple moving average on all charts. Works well across multiple time-frame/periods, imo.
Instead of trying to predict whether or not we’re going into more Strategies and keep losing your money, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 80K every quarter according to Bloomberg.

Daily chart - 200 Day MA. Weekly chart - 200 Week MA. One minute chart - 200 Minute MA. 5 minute chart - 200 X 5 minutes = 1,000 minute MA, not 200 day MA on the 5 minute chart. Any MA is the number of intervals of that chart.

Hey.."pro tip". The 200 indicator on a 5 minute chat isn't the "200 day"..its 200 "5minutes".. You have to be on the daily chart for it to be the "200 day.". Just throwing that out there.
If you're on the 5-minute chart, it's not the 200-*day* moving average; it's the 200-PERIOD moving average...or, specifically on the 5-minute chart, it's the 1000-minute moving average (5 minutes x 200).

It’s a good idea to explain your starting account investment. 160K is quite g=high and most ppl have no idea how much volume they need to risk to grow their account. Ppl with 10k fail to realize that they are not going to see $1500 or $3500 days for a long time unless they blindly want to blow up their account. So relative is very important.. your definitely not using 24 lot size on 160K account when you started.

I'm not treating the way you are I'm Taking Chances I use $5,000 I buy a stock on the hype, I buy in & set my self for 5 cents higher sometimes more & that's it if I'm playing very low stocks like I just did today I bought in at .0046 & sold at .0063 I was able to make money on this trade but sometimes I lose like I did on Monday I followed a head and shoulders trade where I thought it was bullish & the stock crashed, So now I'm looking to learn how to trade candles instead of going on sentiment. If multiple moving averags are horrizontal & wrap around each other OR parralell to each other e.g. 20 ema 50 ema both (on 15 minute chart/5 minute chart)--is that a good entry point if over all trend is up on 4h chart.Seek your wisdom.
These are future contracts, not stocks. The Emini SP500 contract he shows in this video is traded on the CME Globex exchange. This exchange is open for 23 hours a day starting on Sundays at 5:00 central. This is why he can trade this product during the off hours of stock exchanges such as Nasdaq and NYSE. Those exchanges are open from 8:30-3:00 central Mon-Fri.

This sounds like a pretty good channel. Charting knowledge is so important for traders. I'm an old timer and long ago worked for the father of technical analysis, John Murphy, down then at Merrill Lynch in lower Manhattan. He had hired me to produce large charts of his well-known price patterns to be used to train their staff traders. Now I don't do much daytrading, but I am extremely active in stock position trading, working with a broad portfolio and usually doing from 4 to 12 trades per day. I've have very good success, and of course attribute much of it to having read and studied every book on charting and technical analysis. Along with keeping up with market trends and refining the mechanics of properly structuring trades.

I trade entirely differently, but with similar profit results. For my purposes, I don't look for "general" support and resistance areas, but I get very close to market action, usually with a 2-minute chart, and I strive to identify the exact bar when the imminent move can be first identified. I have become quite good at this. Because of the exactness, I am usually able to really limit losses and know if the move is not panning out as foreseen. But usually it works very well right on schedule.

I think you should clarify if the "200 day" moving average you're referencing is actually the daily time-frame moving average extrapolated onto the 5 min chart, OR, whether you mean the 200 period 5 minute moving average, which is essentially a 1.44 daily period moving average given that 5 mins x 200 periods = 1000 mins / 60 mins = 16.67 hours. Not trying to cramp your strategy or whatever, because market price action is oftentimes fractal, just saying you should clarify so as not to cause confusion with beginning traders on the difference between setting up a daily "n" days period moving average vs a 5 min "n" period moving average on TOS charts. Just my own two cents, but I keep a 9 period and 180 period simple moving average on all charts. Works well across multiple time-frame/periods, imo.
Instead of trying to predict whether or not we’re going into more Strategies and keep losing your money, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 80K every quarter according to Bloomberg.

What you are referencing is 200 'Period' moving average.. a 200 day MA would be on a daily chart.. hence the name.
Daily chart - 200 Day MA. Weekly chart - 200 Week MA. One minute chart - 200 Minute MA. 5 minute chart - 200 X 5 minutes = 1,000 minute MA, not 200 day MA on the 5 minute chart. Any MA is the number of intervals of that chart.

Hey.."pro tip". The 200 indicator on a 5 minute chat isn't the "200 day"..its 200 "5minutes".. You have to be on the daily chart for it to be the "200 day.". Just throwing that out there.

If you're on the 5-minute chart, it's not the 200-*day* moving average; it's the 200-PERIOD moving average...or, specifically on the 5-minute chart, it's the 1000-minute moving average (5 minutes x 200).

Good video. Your volume is definitely high. It’s a good idea to explain your starting account investment. 160K is quite g=high and most ppl have no idea how much volume they need to risk to grow their account. Ppl with 10k fail to realize that they are not going to see $1500 or $3500 days for a long time unless they blindly want to blow up their account. So relative is very important.. your definitely not using 24 lot size on 160K account when you started.

I'm not treating the way you are I'm Taking Chances I use $5,000 I buy a stock on the hype, I buy in & set my self for 5 cents higher sometimes more & that's it if I'm playing very low stocks like I just did today I bought in at .0046 & sold at .0063 I was able to make money on this trade but sometimes I lose like I did on Monday I followed a head and shoulders trade where I thought it was bullish & the stock crashed, So now I'm looking to learn how to trade candles instead of going on sentiment. I tried using Yahoo and Webull today and followed the charts but the plateform is to symple & if the stock is moving fast with millions of volume how can you trade by candlesticks?

These are future contracts, not stocks. The Emini SP500 contract he shows in this video is traded on the CME Globex exchange. This exchange is open for 23 hours a day starting on Sundays at 5:00 central. This is why he can trade this product during the off hours of stock exchanges such as Nasdaq and NYSE. Those exchanges are open from 8:30-3:00 central Mon-Fri.

a $1500 dollar position so about 5-8 spy options at 2-3 dollars eahc can easily make a 100% gain on a $10 price change shit thats more than a 100% gain (i assume hes trading options) or hes trading futures.

This sounds like a pretty good channel. Charting knowledge is so important for traders. I'm an old timer and long ago worked for the father of technical analysis, John Murphy, down then at Merrill Lynch in lower Manhattan. He had hired me to produce large charts of his well-known price patterns to be used to train their staff traders. Now I don't do much daytrading, but I am extremely active in stock position trading, working with a broad portfolio and usually doing from 4 to 12 trades per day. I've have very good success, and of course attribute much of it to having read and studied every book on charting and technical analysis. Along with keeping up with market trends and refining the mechanics of properly structuring trades.
