Yes! When people hear I’m a day trader, they ask what stocks they should buy. It depends on what their goals are and how long they intend to hold, their risk tolerance… Day traders don’t care about PE ratio, mkt cap (maybe care a little about that), earnings… we mostly trade the chart and don’t care what direction it goes just as long as it makes a big move and we picked the correct direction.
Day traders lose money 😂
Market Cap is useless in your opinion? Good Luck by trading manipulated Crypto Currencys..
@@smeshnoymatvey2054 yea were still profitable tho, we all take losses even long term investors not everyone going to win Everytime
so true I always have to explain to people im a day trader and not an investor. they don't get it lol
Yes they don't understand why someone will waste time on day trading
You can be both. I have a long term portfolio and I day trade (and swing trade)
I will be 50 years this April 2023 and I just easily made a million dollar from the least expected way, Digital Asset Trading! The way the success will come will never be clear to you, always keep the mind and eyes open.
I want to invest in digital asset, are you a Pro ? how
No I'm not, I work with Tinamarie Sophia stock, a lady here in the U.S, look her up to reach her
@@jasminemccumber4694 Okay, I can see her here on the web, good job, thank you I will write her now.
@@marchellewhite6961 Tinamarie Sophia was mention on CNBC, definitely she is having a wonderful career.
I knew this was a scammer. Don’t ever contact anyone from a comment or video or anything.
In my experience trading is more difficult and challenging than investing. Anybody can invest and DCA long term in a S&P 500 ETF, mutual fund etc. knowing the market will eventually go up but not everyone can trade short term S&P 500 futures, options, etfs and be consistently profitable.
Just be both. Am not a day trader but i do swing trade and invest long term
My strategy as a day trader and long term investor is to keep separate portfolios across multiple platforms. This diversification allows me to set it and forget it often times. These investments grow while I actively trade my higher risk capital allocation.
Then as I make profits on my day trading I roll that over into my longer term investments through dollar cost averaging.
i believe that very few day traders make more than they would if they would just average into an index fund. None of them are willing to show their yearly returns which is a big red flag. If you were really beating the market then why wouldn't you want to post your results to attract more people. Even if you make 50 percent return in year 7, your returns are still lower than an index fund if you lost money the 6 years before that. If you cannot beat an index fund then day trading is just a big waste of time. Its more of an addiction, like a slot machine, the next one's going to be the one is the addictive mind set.
Said perfectly, soooo true and being a day trader has nothing to do with knowing anything about the value of the underlying, its all about buy low sell high, or sell high buy low with a stop loss. Day traders dont give a damn about value, its about rhythm and movement and locking in profits, I will even trade moon dust if the derivative exists
well I trade nasdaq100 and it's very important to know about what things and news affect movements and pros I follow also look for larger trends like what market has done last 6 months and look what way futures are likely to move
Honestly, if you know where the 4 hr is most likely headed, you can day trade. The 4hr and the daily are what give me my bias for the week. Once I see it, I just wait for time of day, either London or NY open. The hardest part is knowing which days to avoid at first.
I want to learn
It's. Like being a sprinter and merothon runner
Guys it’s not that hard at all. Mark my words it’s really not that complicated. Once you’ve mastered day trading and are a profitable trader you need to start investing. You already have mastered technical analysis (if you’re a day trader) and only need to really master fundamental analysis.
Your content is amazing! Keep up the good work!

I do both 🤷🏽♂️
Are you more of a day traitor, intra, day or multi day swing?
Long term investor takes only discipline, not mastery. There is no analysis. You pick investment vehicles, and ride them until you are old, never selling for 20-40 years.
Persistence gets you to the finish line! 🚴
I only day trade stocks that I also invest in.
But you can do both easy 😂
I do both my long term. I look at monthly, just to see where I need to adjust. Sell some premium to cover any down sides I have. l get some hedges and add more stocks. It's not really difficult. I just have to shift your mindset before you work on that part . I keep it simple. Any company I invest in has to have longevity. If not, I don't bother. So far, it's working, but I've been building it up for 30 years. You're young, think 10 years out.
I do both lol I always say trading and investing are 2 completely different things.
Nice Tori trades
The investor eats ice cream with a spoon from a dish.............the day trader gets to try different SHAKES.
Are you taking on clients?
True for people around you they don't see the difference they always ask me for advise and I have to explain why they shouldn't ask me for advice
I get asked "what stocks are you buying" I always have to tell them "whichever ones the market gives me an opportunity on" I don't care if it goes up or down for the long term
I rocking in the same boat right now!
If you can day trade, you understand how to long-term invest. Most people i talk to dont know how to buy a stock still. If you can make money regularly as a day trader. You're more advanced than a long term tradder, in my opinion. And while it's different, it'ss not that different. Im a swing trader that focuses mainly on s&p500 companies that pay a dividend, so idk 😂. (For fun, i keep my balance low)
Can you do both
Day traders are like gamblers, and Long term investors are good at saving money
So I have been doing long term investments and now I’m starting day trading
Why not just take a portion of the profit in your day trades and put it into a dividend paying stock for long term and just have that work in the background while you trade. Think of it as like having a base salary then adding on commissions when you make good day trades but your salary increases when you make good commissions.
Sweet show, you present the perfect combination of valuable experienced knowledge giver, abnormally exorbitant beauty delivered in the most smooth as honey voice. Absolutely lovely and educational
Yes
Facts and day trading I feel like is 10x more difficult
Oh you don't have to tell
I just wish to be one of them
❤
Similar in that they both wanna make that 💰
You are right Tori
💯💯💯
There's 20-30 different strategies and ways to trade. Figure out what's what so when u watch RUclips videos u can take the info u need and not whT is just being said because none of them correlate with another they are all different
Day trader u will become in around 1 year, but how buffet said then? If u cant hold a stock for ten years, dont even think about to own it for ten minutes..😊
The difference between a Day Trader and a Long Term Investor is just a matter of the amount of time it takes before your Stop Loss is hit.
It can also be defined as a Trader who is underwater due to the fact that they failed to execute a stop loss order.🤔😁
Please Maam .. do help me on trading
Eh just plow the profits into SCHD and figure out what you’re doing eventually the first 100k is the hardest part.
Its not difficult 😂. Long term investor: invest all in msci world. Daygambler: put blindfold on and go in with some leverage, then try to sell some courses to people.
I wanna buy your course
Link is in my bio, you can dm me on Instagram if you have any questions!
I would love to learn from you and give back. I'm a financial advisor and accountant from Canada.
Are you kidding. You’re a financial advisor wanting to learn for a kid who knows nothing about investing. She’s a gambler pretending to have logic behind her trades.
@@TheUser808 #1 you don't build a following by taking a demeaning attitude, #2 you're never too old to learn new tricks #3 I can build my own opinion thank you
Just tell them to buy gold and bitcoin , at own risk .
Honey, you’re a RUclipsr. That’s it. You logged and stumbled on “ daytrading” videos of young adolescent kids with fake results and that’s it. So tired of RUclips “ traders”
Need way more knowledge for long term trading.
Most people who do any kind of trading but especially day trading will fail. Most people either have no strategy and think they are smarter than the market or have a strategy that they have not backtested. Most people have really unrealistic ideas of what a trader does (thanks to youtube and social media) and they try to make their strategy match that and lose terribly. If you want to learn statistics and take at least 6 months to a year to learn to code to find and optimize a strategy with a positive expectancy then you have a fighting chance long term. You don't have to day trade to make good money. The best traders are the ones that can stick around the longest. They have losing months and even losing years but will make on average close to 15-20% annualized even without leverage. Some strategies make even more but have bigger drawdowns which are more than most people can tolerate. Their typical trade is like 8 months and the win rate is something like 35-40 percent. If you can compound 20% over a long period of time you'll be rich as hell like Downton Abbey rich.
Duh
I didnt know women trade
Basically you could sum it up by saying short term traders don't have the money that long term traders have.....
Makes a lot of sense...
I mean who wants to work that hard....
All the time..❤️
NO ONE thinks you are a trader ONLY FOOLS.
#BTC 1%-5% MINIMUM
U r pretty
Laughable
After seeing you talk about oil not "going anywhere" for a few months, I am not sure what you are lol. Can you really call yourself a day trader when you sit out most of the market?
I see double bottom with hl no need for trendlines just open your eye alittle more
Day trading is higher risk
Long term investors lesser risk
Unless someone shows a genuine interest in the market, I will not talk to people about it. We may as well be speaking 2 different languages.
One gambles for a living runs a paid discord room to covers their losses. The other has multiple revenue streams
I don't even tell people, love watching people running round at work wasting their lives trying to get a few k payrise, when you can literally employ yourself and day trade part time, I'm getting to the point that I'm losing money by being at work but taking away that safety net is a scary thing to do
I think I'm in love
