Alrighty, folks! Let's dive into this wild transcript adventure! So, here's the deal: someone asked if we have a Discord for alerts, and I confessed that I'm kinda terrified to give alerts. I mean, it feels like a lot of pressure, you know? Instead, I'd rather we all analyze charts together and come up with the same trading ideas. Oh, and I love changing the colors of the lines on my chart, even if it gets a little messy. Sometimes, I keep old trend lines as a reminder of missed entries or to remember why I got into a trade.
Stop losses? Absolutely! Gotta manage that risk, my friends. But let's be honest, a signal service might come with a ton of complaints. Plus, I'd rather indulge in some self-care after bad trading days. Face masks, essential oils, and maybe a nice bike ride to clear my head. Oh, and I'm a Leo, love the Lakers, and can't sing to save my life, but my sister was on The Voice! And did I mention I play guitar and piano?
Oh, trading hours and strategy? Well, I swing trade mostly, aiming for less screen time and bigger profits. Crypto? Yeah, this might be my year to dive in, but I'll probably go for a long-term approach. And when it comes to trading, I rely on trend lines and support/resistance, I don't have any experience with Fibonacci, patterns, SMC, or ICT. And I trade oil, even though it can drive me crazy sometimes.
Okay, rapid-fire questions time! No, I don't swing because of less volatility. But self-care and finding balance in life? It's all about taking breaks, finding other hobbies, and doing some hot yoga when I'm not hitting the weights. And as for Gatlinburg, I did some whiskey tasting there, but can't remember much else. Oh, and my filming setup is on point with a Sony a6000 camera, and cool studio lights, and can achieve a bokeh effect by being far enough away from my background.

Im new to studying trading, and I'm analyzing price action on charts and used trendlines on a two hour timeframe while looking at the charts. I'm learning some reversal patterns and your trendline strategy you showed in this video honestly seems like it works when there are reverasal patterns that i've learned in the course I'm taking. Love to hear the emotions you have when trading because I thought I was the only one that felt the stress of missing losing or even winning trades... psychology is everything and learning who you are and how you react is a big part of the learning process. You know, before I got serious about trading, I would keep up with the S&P 500 with Trendlines, Support, and Resistance, then guess what happened, Serious Indicator Addiction 🤪🤪🤪to the point of creating Indicator Art when combining Best Indicators of All time to the chart. Thank You, I have been delivered 😊😊😊. SO Simple, Trendlines, Support, and Resistance🤗. Now, I may just use 2 traditional Indicators for confluence, but that's it. LOL

stumbled upon your channel.. been learning how to use trendlines properly by myself.. because i cant afford a mentorship.. anyways.. God bless.. and hello from the Philippines.. would love to master the art of being a trendline breakout trader.. btw what i do is mark the previous hour candle hi and lo with a horizontal trendline.. then go to one minute timeframe and deploy the diagonal trendlines connecting hl to hl or lh lh.. then wait for a break.. if the price breaks the line.. i look for extra confluence.. like fractal structure, displacement candles, imbalances, etc... then set up a trade.. somehow i managed to train my eye to see those things without indicators.. though i find using simple indicators like williams fractal helps make things easy... the question is .. am i doing the right thing..

I know this is a month old but yes… TV is the Bomb. I even tried the Ninja Trader demo and preferred TV because I like my drawings being instantly propagated to the different timelines and even in NT, you still had to fiddle with some things to get each one to propagate….. And now that I watched this, I got the answer to why you wanted to swing trade, that I asked in your more recent post. Lol… But IMO, and since you seem to want to also pursue a social media presence, I think maybe Day Trading is better suited for that, unless you have several swings going at once, to keep people updated on, along with other trading related stuff.

Hi Tori, I found out that many experienced traders rather trading futures than forex. Is it just because that's what you learnt from the beggining? or is there any other reason for not doing forex? Thanks!
I’ve been reading for almost 9 years and 8 of those years was running in circles trading forex/cfds (us30 nas100).
I found that after I made the switch to futures there were several advantages:
1. Regulated leverage. With 1 mini contract of NQ(nas100) you’re making about 20$ per tick. Those numbers can add up fast especially if you’re a scalper like me and trade multiple contracts. (Lot sizes in forex)You don’t have to worry about getting into a trade and immediately being in drawdown because of slippage or spreads. You get the price you want.
2. All futures brokers are stateside and usually have an in person office you can visit. Same is true for futures prop firms. I trade with TopStep Trading and they have an office based out of Chicago.
3. You can trade a futures prop account for nominal monthly fees until you pass your evaluation. I trade a 50k account with TopStep for only 49$/mo and 49$ resets if you lose the challenge. You also keep 100% of your first 10k profit on any account size and after that it’s a 90/10.
Those are just a few key points. But it’s MUCH better to trade YM! (us30) and NQ(Nas100) as a futures contract then an unregulated CFD.
Added bonus: You can analyze and execute directly in TradingView with no issues.
Long story short, NEVER going back to FX. Currency pairs are too slow and prop firm fees are too high and at risk of being scrutinized by the FTC.

I’ve been trading for quite sometime. For the people watching T keeps it simple. I’ve recommended many people to watch her because she doesn’t confuse you with all the other things in trading. Start with her first and then gradually add things like Supply and demand, MA, fvg, etc… Thanks Tori 💪🏾💙

Hi Tori i know you trade on longer time frames like 4H but can you please look at NIFTY 50 (NSE) Index chart & suggest the best time frame for trading it? I viewed it on 4H but it seems way too minuscule on it. I'm from India and that's our Index where i wanna trade :)

hi Tori and everyone. I've been trying to trade by learning from websites and books and youtube for many years and blew couple small accounts along the way. Sadly for me, I'm still struggling to have a consistent profitable strategy. I've stopped trading recently to just focusing on back trading with my strategy to see the result. I've used tradingview to back trade over 10 years of data across sectors of stock tickers. My result is 60% batting rate with 1 to 1 winning on swing trading. I'm hesitant to restart trading due to be afraid that the result might not be worth a profit trading plan. I hope any one can share their experiences with their trading strategy. Any input will be appreciated.
I didn't started trading unless I achieved atleast 70% winrate on simulations and papertrade,,,
I think you have the following problem or problems - your trading setup is incomplete, you are consistently changing you strategy, you are not taking into account the non-retail trader's price levels, you are not seeing market through different timeframes and lenses, you are missing essential accumulation and distribution zones, etc
Buddy if anyone of this things are missing in you strategy then get it sorted...
its not % of winrate even with 30-40 win rate you could this be profitable
@@thetradeist What do you mean by that? As for my back test strategy, it was a complete fail in real trade application. It was not a working strategy.
see lets say your win rate is 20% in 10 trades but your RR is 1:6 8 losers so negative 8 and 2 winners positive 12. 12-8=4. so see even after losing 8 trades at the end of the day you would still be profitable.
It seems to me that with this strategy you miss many opportunities to execute very profitable trades. Adding "supply and demand" would deliver a significant improvement.

I've never understood the "each win for you is a loss for someone else" idea. The assumption is everyone is trading the same time frame, the same strategy, and the same amount of money as you. What if you're trading long the 4 hr and someone else is scalping short the one minute. You can both be right because you have different goals. I trade the 5 minute a lot and I doubt I'm trading against everyone else trading the 5 minute. I might be looking to grab 10 pips (Forex) short, and the person I buy from is on the 4 hr looking for 100 pips long. We can both be right.
Yeah, for some reason a lot of people see it as a zero sum game where there has to be a loser for every winner. I don't believe that's true. It is true that for every position opened an equal position is closed, but that doesn't say either one made or lost money.
