One other thing for the big sellers is if they hide their sales you can filter their page by most recent. Usually items that sell a lot will be on those first few pages (depending on how much that person posts per day). You can always click and see how many people have them in carts and start there.

Thanks so much for this! So many RUclipsrs are showing subscription tools and products when their audiences are clearly new sellers. Plus they are affiliates of those services. I think I literally screamed this week when yet another RUclipsr gushed about the profitability of a particular product but were using only Printify premium prices, which many of us cannot yet justify paying for. At best it feels out of touch, at worst predatory. thanks for keeping it real! ❤

Great little nuggets! One question I keep having is if I should be "testing" just one design in a niche or maybe 3-5 (+?) different designs?
I'd definitely do 3-5 different designs to test which design and keywords get more traffic.

I love combining niches in a design. For example, instead of just a random sports design, how about a specific sports mom design. Like a funny swim mom quote on a product. You can also combine food and hobbies. Like a coffee and pottery design. Hope this helps! :)

Hello! Great content, here! What is Incognito mode?
Hi Christina.. creative fabrica’s commercial license for POD states that we have to remove all of the designs we made using their resources from our stores when we end their subscription. They don’t have a lifetime subscription available so we are locked in with them for life if we decide to use them to create our POD designs. In this case what do you suggest as an alternative to creative fabrica?
One of their licenses allows you to keep on selling the items, just not make new items after subscription ended.

there are other ways to find out what's selling for a specific shop even if they have sales turned off :)

What is your monthly sales for this month and last month? What are your typical profit margins with print on demand?
Most things i have seen say that pricing your products for a 30% ish profit margin is reasonable and acceptable.

Christina how long did it take you for your shirts to be seen online? I have been doing POD for a little over 3 months and I have almost 800 listings. I've had some sales - but I notice when I look at my stats - majority of my shirts have no views. How do we break-through to even be seen online?
It sounds like perhaps your SEO needs work if youre getting no views! Use similar tags to your competitors if you have competitors, also focus on finding some niches that are less saturated by using subniches or combining 2 niches together

I guess changing star seller to best seller in the URL no longer works! I tried it 3 times and opened nearly 10 listings on the page, none of which were best sellers. Do you have any other advice for this?

Yes! I have multiple niches for my apparel shop. However, I have a main niche and about 50% of my designs fall under this niche, which helps me build a brand :)

1990 sweatshirts showing in your video have about 1000 results in Etsy, is that not to much competition to rank and making sales fast?
