You're living my goal, getting POD to a point where I can travel and explore the world using the income. Congratulations to you and enjoy Indonesia!! Sampai jumpa lagi!
Lmao thats not how it works, look at all of these successful Etsy RUclipsrs always home making videos on RUclips to make AD REVENUE all after so called making 100k+ on Etsy.. lmfaoo while people like u want to barely grind and spend it all traveling its hilarious.
I love how clear your descriptions and how you show us exactly what to do. You mention tools I never look at - I tend to only use Erank for keywords. Have just subscribed and look forward to watching more of your videos :) Thank you.
So informative I love how you show exactly what to do and look for, instead of just saying "do research" I love how committed you are to always educating yourself with all the etsy tools 😊we need more youtubers like you 🎉
This was such an insightful video. I feel like I have not been utilizing erank to its fullest potential and that there is so much more on that platform to learn!
Hope you enjoyed this week's video! Is there something new you learned about eRank? PS: You can grab my free Print on Demand training to learn how to get started with your store here: webinars.cuonline.ca/
I do! I love using Everbee and I use both for different reasons. Erank mainly for niche research and everbee for its product analytics feature and fore competitor research. Check out my latest video where I used everbee!
Hi Christina, Love this video...quick question for you. I was using Erank and going through all these suggestions and found a couple ideas that were showing great results on Erank with little over 1k in the competition range but when I looked up those same ideas on the actual Etsy website there were LOTS of listings... this scared me from creating anything in those niche's...am I just being ridiculous in assuming low competition niche's won't have lots of listings or is something off with Erank's results?
Same here. Competiton of 3000 or less will often show up as a tiny green sliver on erank, making one think it's "low competition", but checking etsy search reveals 10+ pages of direct competition which doesn't seem "low competition" at all. Maybe there's something special about the tshirt vertical where 10+ pages of competition is not really a big deal (Easy to pop out 10 designs in a day, so a fair chance one of them will land on the first page, I guess?). Seems like it's big deal in just about every other etsy industry.
Hey Christina, thanks for all your content, it's been really useful! I was wondering does it matter where i am located? I am a canadian seller, how would I get more visibility in the etsy US marketplace to compete with my competitors?
Im Canadian too! I set my Etsy shop location to US and also offer free shipping for US orders. Etsy will rank you higher with free shipping and will prioritize your listings. Just be sure to build your shipping fee on the selling price. :)
@@c.u.online This is interesting. I have the same issue, trying to get seen in the US marketplace, not just being seen in front of Canadians, (though I appreciate my Canadian customers). Isn't that against Etsy TOS though? Would you be risking having your shop shut down? And would you share how you do this? Do you have a VPN to do this? Thanks.
Hey Christina! You mentioned in one of your RUclips video comments that you have 1 print on demand Apparel store and 1 print on demand metal art store. May I know how many niches you sell products in on these stores? Most of the the successful Etsy sellers suggest starting a general store serving multiple niches for a consistent income so Just wanted to learn from you how many niches one should sell in to start with to become a successful Etsy seller, thanks!
I focus on one main hobby niche, and then niche down. I always do research and look for keywords related to this hobby before making designs. This way, I can keep the theme of my store and still make sales or get traffic from Etsy searches and trends.
This was amazing video!! I'd like to ask how do you put together a whole list of keywords for 1 listing if the main keyword is e. g. strawberry sweater? For example, I would imagine that the rest of the keywords would not consist of other strawberry sweater related phrases just for the sake of it, unless they already have a decent search volume right? Would we target perhaps things like "fruit sweater", "sweater for her", "gift for her" etc.?
Update: I actually found out "strawberry milk sweater" that has quite a decent amount of searches, but still what would you rank the rest of the keywords for?
THANK YOU so much for your videos Christina! They're very valuable for Etsy beginners like me :) I have a question about specific holiday designs. preparing for them months before makes total sense but how many designs would you say make sense for one holiday? I'm preparing for St Patricks day and am wondering if the amount of designs should be somewhere between 20 and 50 or more between 50 to 200? It's hard to find the balance between doing enough to get sales and doing way too much and it's a time waste.. Thank you so much! greetings form germany
Hi Christina! This was a super helpful video, I appreciate you uploading. I have a question: Oftentimes I hear coaches say to go 10, 20, even 50+ designs and maybe hundreds of listings in any given niche you want to break into. Would you say this applies to like the overall "teacher" niche for instance, or would you make dozens of designs for a single subniche that has only 300 estimated searches and 1k competition for instance? I think I get nervous spending too much time on a single seemingly small subniche. Thank you!
I would say 10 per subniche to test, and test MANY different subniches. You can watch my video on how to make 1 design apply to tons of different niches on my account as well to simplify this and make it a quicker process
I would rather niche down and make designs for sub niches with fewer competition. Making designs for a specific niche sets you apart from other shops and helps build your brand. It also gives you a higher chance of appearing on the 1st page of etsy search and getting more traffic.
lol no, no matter how i say it people fight in my comments lol . from google: "\NEESH\ (rhymes with sheesh) and \NICH\ (rhymes with pitch). \NICH\ is the more common one and the older of the two pronunciations." nitch is more common and the original

You are so welcome! ☺😆
Do you pay attention to the trend chart too or mostly focus on the average search number?
This is so genius. So glad I found this! 🔥🔥
Glad you like it!
2:45 It's pronounced NICK YOU. it's a intensive care unit for newborn babies.
thank you!!! now I'm learning :)

Will it cause any problems if I am from Denmark, but state my location as the United States?
What is niches?
Hey! This is ENLIGHTMENT !

yea I'd expand on it! "fruit sweatshirt, strawberry crewbkeck, starwberry sweatshirt, strawberry gift"

Hi Lisa I just started my own etsy today, Could you help me with my store?
Hi Christina! This was a super helpful video, I appreciate you uploading. the competition always comes out way higher on etsy than the stats erank gives
no tool can give 100% accurate data- but erank is a great guideline for ideas
Your video is beautiful same as you❤.
It’s “Nick-U”
I cat sell anything since a month😢
Great lip but why do you say nitch? It’s niche
Erank does not give you full data from Etsy or up to date info on competition this is all cap an a waste of time
NICU nick you. I think it means newborn ICU.
You’re pronouncing “niche” incorrectly
theres two ways, mine is the older way :) according to google there are 2 correct pronunciations
Please pronounce it as “neeche”!
lol no, no matter how i say it people fight in my comments lol
. from google: "\NEESH\ (rhymes with sheesh) and \NICH\ (rhymes with pitch). \NICH\ is the more common one and the older of the two pronunciations."
nitch is more common and the original
Why does it matter? You clearly understand what she is saying regardless.
People on here really have to calm down about the way she says niche. It's a stupid word. Get over it. Sounds better the way she says it anyway.
Did you eat cream or something. What is that on your nose?
She said she was sweating because of the humidity in the beginning of the video are you slow?
@@la6136 So sweating occurs on the nose then? :)
Niche lol ur saying it all wrong
google it ;) mines the older way of saying it and theres 2 ways to say it
This video became unbearable by the pronunciation.. ITS NICHE. Not nitch.
its said both ways depending where you live, google it.
she's pronouncing niche wrong, and I almost feel like it's on purpose because she keeps saying niche like every 3 words lol
your pronouncing niches wrong
google it! theres 2 correct ways and mine is the older version
You’re
Great advice! Thanks ❤
You are so welcome! 💖
