    heres how i got 2 of my shops to top 100, total 300,000 orders since 2019. I just find products with the best search volume and I create offers that converts better like adding a free customization or packaging. eventually I organically rank top of search

      during 2020 i sold face mask with bogo offer. eventually my listing was the top listing and i put all my variations in that listing. did $1.5m during that time. that’s an example. high searches. so i sacrificed profit on the short term to rank. and i removed the bogo after ranking. the bogo increased my conversion rate

    Hi Brandon! Thank you for your tips. I watched most of your videos about Etsy and I’ve been following mostly of the tips you provided. I always get views everyday but still having a hard time converting my views into sales, can you provide tips?

    • @JacobRhine-q4s
      @JacobRhine-q4s 3 месяца назад

      A good average sales to views is around a few percent so if you get 200 views and 4 of those are sales that’s good.
      Also you need to sell your product for a fraction of what your selling it for to gain first sales that lead to reviews and traction the goal is to barley break even on your cost in the beginning and get sales by being the cheapest option.
      Until your constitutionally selling around 10-15 orders a month you have to use this time to build reputation.
      When I started my stuff was half the price it is now and I waited till I got around 20 reviews and sending post order messages asking for reviews also helps big time.
      And also you need to utilize Etsy adds you only pay per click and you can set the budget to $1 per day and it will only use I think 10 cents per click and I say 10-20 percent of add clicks can lead to a sale so it’s well worth it
      But if you done all this and tried for a few months doing the techniques I mentioned above it could be your listing isn’t what people are looking for.
      So in a way you may need to find a niche that’s close to what’s trending but has low competition

    • @beanz6795

      @MacyChic11 Etsy has changed tremendously in the last year, and as of late actually, there's a ton of new policies, they've incorporated AI, and they're getting very strict on what you can sell, how you can advertise, what type of photos you can use, etc. i know that you asked for his opinion but i couldn't help but to jump in. As an Etsy seller for 6+ years that goes by the book, I'm finding that the addition of AI and all these Etsy bots are not favorable for the seller. I've made sure to stay updated of any changes and make sure I continue to be fully compliant but as of two weeks ago when Josh (Etsy CEO) made some announcements, all of a sudden some of my listings are flagged by etsy ai as "policy violations" yet all of my competitors still have the same items, and as of the first, my shop was deactivated and now i need to file n appeal. Me.. someone who plays by the rules fully, has been an Etsy star seller since the day it started, bills are paid on time, no customer issues, orders get out with a day or same day, yet now my shop's closed. I say all that to say, really think about how much you have to invest in opening again. How much money? How much time? How much physically? How much mentally? And is it truly worth while. Etsy's currently saturated with nonsense and I think they're trying to weed out the BS sellers but in the meanwhile, those of us that are doing things right, are accidentally getting flagged by bots then having to wait weeks to "appeal" so our shop will be open again. Think about if all that is worth it.

    • @AdsyBoost
      @AdsyBoost 2 месяца назад +1

      It’s totally worth starting with 1-3 digital products! You don’t need a huge inventory to open your shop. Starting small lets you test the market, refine your listings, and get feedback from customers. As you gain more insights, you can gradually add more products. The key is to focus on quality listings with good keywords, descriptions, and images. Once you’ve got those down, you can expand at your own pace.

      I closed my store permanently. Beginning in August it was claimed that every single sale was from their off-site marketing, and they tacked on an additional 12% fee. In the past, only an occasional sale came from off-site marketing. To make matters worse, the order totals were much lower than when sales come directly from searches on the platform, and traffic dropped significantly. By midmonth, I could see what they were doing, and I was losing money, so I shut it down. The platform literally acts schizophrenic with the way things change and their constant annoying tests that drive customers away. (for example, attempting to get buyers to compel sellers to add videos to every listing, the annoying pop-ups that never go away, pretending they know what customers want to buy and presenting irrelevant items in search). And that's not mentioning how they treat sellers on the platform.
