heres how i got 2 of my shops to top 100, total 300,000 orders since 2019. I just find products with the best search volume and I create offers that converts better like adding a free customization or packaging. eventually I organically rank top of search
Congratulations on your success! I agree 100%. People underestimate the power or organic reach on Etsy if done correctly
Can you give me an example? Thanks for sharing this with us!
Wow! Interesting !
Boy you rich
during 2020 i sold face mask with bogo offer. eventually my listing was the top listing and i put all my variations in that listing. did $1.5m during that time. that’s an example. high searches. so i sacrificed profit on the short term to rank. and i removed the bogo after ranking. the bogo increased my conversion rate
Great video and advice - a refreshing change from 'how I made £250,000 in two months' etc which RUclips is full of.
Thanks bro love your content. Your information seems legit and you’re not just saying exaggerating like other RUclipsrs who want to just grow their channel.
Glad you like the content! Thanks for watching.
Hi Brandon! Thank you for your tips. I watched most of your videos about Etsy and I’ve been following mostly of the tips you provided. I always get views everyday but still having a hard time converting my views into sales, can you provide tips?
Thanks for this video Brandon! I know so many people are having success with digital products but it just seems sooo overwhelming to me for some reason. Just looking at the templates you featured in your video overwhelmed me. I think I need a super simple digital product to start with like the twitch emotes that you talked about in your other video. Any other simple digital products?
You're so clever. Definitely worth watching.
Wow, thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
Hi Brandon, really appreciate all your content!! Do you have a video specifically on how you use Everbee to do your research? Thanks so much!!
Yes I do! You can search everbee within my channel to find those videos :)
@@brandontimothy thank you!!
Thanks Brandon, very useful... Maybe for the next video, could you do some shop reviews? I think these are very useful as well. Thanks!
Yes definitely! Thank you for the feedback 🙌
Hi Brandon! I’m learning a lot from you on how to use etsy! Thank you so much for your lessons!! It’s really easy to understand. I’m also starting my own products to sell on etsy, on the other side I’m also doing some guitar lessons as well, I’m curious to what product you’re using for your microphone cause it’s so clear capturing your voice. Can you share you what product you’re using?
Thank you! Glad you enjoy the content. For filming, I just use the DJI wireless mic, and edit the video on Descript. Descript also enhances the voice to make it more crisp too
@@brandontimothy ohh nice! First time I heard Descript! I’ll try that out. Thanks for sharing your tools Brandon!
hello, I have put a reduction on my entire store at 70%, and I have put offers with reduction codes of 5 euros in case of cart abandonment, in case of purchase and in case of favorites, is the 70% rate added to that of the 3 offers cited or not? Thank you for answering me, I will be very grateful.
Hi Brandon thank you for all your advice I really enjoy your videos. Do you use mock ups for your first image as I’m afraid to because Etsy has informed a seller that not to even with digital images, second and third but not first. Thank you Jackie
Yes, you can use a mock-up for the first image, I do that for all my shops too :)
Thank you so much
You're most welcome, thanks for watching :)
Is this only for digital products? POD sweatshirts maybe tough to have an anchor
Really great video! Thank you. I just found your channel. Looking forward to seeing what else you talk about here. Is there any way to slide a newsletter link (or URL) into the Etsy shop description or header image somewhere without Etsy discovering it and blacklisting us? Or do you think better not to..? ;-)
Thank you for watching! You can’t link any non-Etsy links in the description, but one way is to add a QR code in your product images or add links in your announcement section
Question- with your 5 different stores, do you create entirely new etsy accounts for each one and new emails etc? Basically everything involved is separate? What about your bank and credit card info, are you allowed to use the same accounts? Thanks!
Hi Brandon. Thanks for the video. I have a quick question about selling on Etsy. I plan to sell seven different dog tags (all different designs) and I'm wondering if I should create a separate listing for each variant or just one listing that includes all variants. Which approach do you think is better for long-term success and profitability? Thank you so much for your advice!
You can create as separate listings..😊
Hi Brandon. First i want to thank u tor this valuable content. U mentioned that we can create more than one etsy shop for staying focusing on a specific product. My question is how we can create more than one shop. Is it allowed to open different acciunt with same personal info?
Yes, absolutely! Best of luck with your Etsy shops
Hi Brandon, great content! I have been following you for quite a while now. On one of your webinar you mentioned that etsy will usually give you a boost once you create a new etsy shop. However, I started an etsy shop last year and stop shortly after. Now I would like to give it another try. Should I continue with my old shop or create a totally new etsy shop? Thank you!
@MacyChic11 Etsy has changed tremendously in the last year, and as of late actually, there's a ton of new policies, they've incorporated AI, and they're getting very strict on what you can sell, how you can advertise, what type of photos you can use, etc. i know that you asked for his opinion but i couldn't help but to jump in. As an Etsy seller for 6+ years that goes by the book, I'm finding that the addition of AI and all these Etsy bots are not favorable for the seller. I've made sure to stay updated of any changes and make sure I continue to be fully compliant but as of two weeks ago when Josh (Etsy CEO) made some announcements, all of a sudden some of my listings are flagged by etsy ai as "policy violations" yet all of my competitors still have the same items, and as of the first, my shop was deactivated and now i need to file n appeal. Me.. someone who plays by the rules fully, has been an Etsy star seller since the day it started, bills are paid on time, no customer issues, orders get out with a day or same day, yet now my shop's closed. I say all that to say, really think about how much you have to invest in opening again. How much money? How much time? How much physically? How much mentally? And is it truly worth while. Etsy's currently saturated with nonsense and I think they're trying to weed out the BS sellers but in the meanwhile, those of us that are doing things right, are accidentally getting flagged by bots then having to wait weeks to "appeal" so our shop will be open again. Think about if all that is worth it.
Great starting list to go by. I spent the last six months learning a specific skill that I has great potential in a niche that is selling well, now I am ready to redo my shop using some of these tips you highlighted. My target is to do well by Christmas so I want to get it running way before then.
Hi Brandon. my shop made 100+ sales but that took a long time (too long). I'm thinking of changing my niche & restarting. Should I use my existing shop (100+ sales + some 4-5 stars reviews) or set up a new shop?
If you’re switching into a new niche or category, I recommend just starting a new shop, good luck! You got this 💪
You must make a lot of money from everbee. Their numbers aren’t even correct. I’m not sure why you talk about them so much. It’s gotta be the money.
Everbee is the best SEO tool you can use to get sales
Quite cheeky to say you cracked the algorithm, and then follow it up with what I can only describe as newbie information. Use all 13 tags??? Use all 10 images??? Price anchoring is also so entry level. This is essentially fluff, sorry if I come across as a little bit mean, I understand the point of you being a youtuber and trying to grow your channel. It's just annoying for people who actually have a clue about the topic. Literally no reference to how these points affect this algorithm which lets be honest, no one knows how it works, especially that they are Beta testing a new AI based algorithm to show products.
