Not only did he feather it he stayed on the glideslope he nailed that centerline drifting left to right probably to correct for wind. This guy is definitely a veteran 👍👍👍

@@daver9643 It is a Standard unless you have winds from the back or the front ALIGNED with the Plane. That almost NEVER happens. CROSS WINDS are winds not aligned with the Plane. (+0°) Now the speed. 0.5 mph is nothing that justifies any precautions. A Cat 5 Hurricane... Stay Home or evacuate when you're told to. Cross Winds are a Norm. What's NOT normal is a 0° angle of the Wind in relation to the plane (backwards or frontwards) The Angle of the Wind is the most dangerous close to 45° in any direction. Lateral winds (90) are not so worrisome. I am 55. Earlier in my Life I worked in the Cabin where the Passengers sit. I was always sitting at the back of the plane facing the Cockpit during Take Off and Landings. Most of the pilots kept the door opened. So I had the Chance to see with my own eyes how much the plane seemed to be unstable, turning from one side to the other. I live right next to the International Airport of Lisbon and I can see it IF the winds are strong and the Angle is not favourable. If not, they look like they are as stready as when they're parked. From the OUTSIDE everything looks smooth. But INSIDE you either see it as I did or FEEL it. That's not so good.
I've yet to figure out why I enjoy so much seeing airplanes landing or taking off in the rain. I'm sure someone will probably think I'm strange. LOL!!! Thanks Denys for the video.
