Also when I watch videos of the massive planes take off! What a wonderous site! As a child I lived in hearing distance of an Air Force air field in the Canal Zone, Albrook Air Field. The first air field my family took a flight from for vacation to the U.S. We sat backwards, facing the back of the plane unlike today. Late 50's/early 60's. No A/C then so the louvered windows were open. Late at night you could hear the large planes running through the night....like a white noise. And when they shut down it was 'wake up and sit up' wondering where that sound was! To this day (70 yr old) I still sleep better with a background monotone sound! So many stories I could tell about my dad's interaction with planes during the war...so many stories I could tell about 3 out of my 5 brothers and their interactions with planes still to this day! I could go on and on about all the plane interactions I had in the Canal Zone! What a wonderful life! LIke camping out on a beach that was just at the entrance of the landing zone to Howard Air Force Base! Watching plane after plane come in for landing at night! We marveled at this with every landing we would yell 'DUCK'. They were so close overhead! ' During WWII a Lufthansa german plane landed at Albrook Air Field and was secured by the US Military. My Dad was commissioned to dismantle the cockpit which was written up in a book. I even have a picture of him doing this. I don't know the whole backstory to this. All inventions are great the most magnificent of all inventions is the airplane. NOTHING surpasses that...nothing!

During WWII a Lufthansa german plane landed at Albrook Air Field and was secured by the US Military. My Dad was commissioned to dismantle the cockpit which was written up in a book. I even have a picture of him doing this. I don't know the whole backstory to this. All inventions are great the most magnificent of all inventions is the airplane. NOTHING surpasses that...nothing!
BA almost landed it on the nose. Nice video. So much respect for pilots, especially on these days. I know it's their job but still.....

How he got it down is beyond me. Holy cow.
3:06 great lights of a second plane coming on back side
Must be fun to fly the Dash 8 in this weather😂
Great Video!

Some of the pilots are artists!! Wow!!
Turbulence doesn't bother me normally but a dash 8 into Glasgow in a storm was truly terrifying!
This is why you should try not to be upset at weather-related delays even though it can be frustrating. I’d rather wait 2 hours than look out my left window and see down the entire length of the runway when landing
Pilot is our hero because our lives depends on his skills .
no two words of it.
