James Barr might be innocent, but this video is guilty of having no audio.
you saved me from my ears getting blown out, forgot to lower the volume
Rosamund Pike is a goddess in this.
Jack's question at 4:40: "How many wish they were born knowing what they know now? Ask yourself: how many would do things the same way all over again?" That's a very Nietzschean question, my friend. Very Nietzschean indeed...
Such an underrated crime thriller.
@11 seconds, the plot really deepens.
😂😂😂😂
This is the beginning to understand what this movie story about.
Jack Reacher is a juggernaut Sherlock Holmes. Despite him being 6’5, 220-250lbs he’s extremely observant, sharp, precise, direct, tactical, smart and intelligent. With one look at the crime scene he figured it out that James Barr was innocent and the real motive behind the scheme. When he sees a loose thread he doesn’t stop until he unravels the whole shenanigans is exposed, the law has limit he does not. The right on the side of wrong, one of the heroes that gets the job done.
Best thing about this movie are them twins 😛
You're not wrong
ah, but are they identical twins?
@@tylerraleigh5092 definitely

this is the best crime film/movie i've ever watched
Jack Reacher is Sigma Male personified
He knew who the real victim was before she found out.
This video is still too loud, I can still hear some whispering
1:25 agreed what kind of killer pays for parking ?!? 🅿️
Her American accent is really good

Did anyone think of this scene after that shooting in Buffalo during the summer?
Does the sound not work when you download videos?
This is one instance in movies where the "No True Scotsman" trope is not a fallacy, but a reasonable argument.
It took me an hour to read and understand that term, and now I appreciate this comment. We learn new things everyday. Thanks.
Only that it isn't a trope and Tom Cruise however insane is no true Mel Gibson
@@pendragonU Perhaps I mislabeled it, but it is used as an argument, and almost always illogically. I also never stated anything about Cruise. I was merely saying that the "no true Scotsman" argument has validity in case.
@@TritonsGuard No biggie, you ok there
I was playing along pun on the little Irishman (Cruise) being no Mel Gibson (Braveheart= the True Scotsman) insanity levels wise
The film reaches good heights, as it follows good script in general on good books, although this scene in her office supposedly of cathartic *revelation moments* is no Da Vinci code along the chase, it's almost TV frosting overplayed in too many Police or team investigators shows, you almost miss Shaggy and Scooby doo for relief humor bringing you back to film lest you get a reject reflex from so much high spinning, cutting scenes developments of a few days work in just few minutes talk briefing. Albeit, the two characters in the vehicle below almost play those parts in the dumb and dumber lines. They got too spooky in her office with little light up there (unless they were trying to create an atmosphere of failed chemistry with her alone with him) Rosamunde acting probably off balance by a weirder Cruise rolling but she adds that in many other of her films. And Tom, well....
no repeated success as in 'a few Good men' with Demi Moore cracking a case against Jack Nicholson's superb role, where it was all up to Demi Moore's work to add the romantic atmosphere that Tom is limited to act even with her help.
Probably a more Julia Roberts and a less clicking Cruise for these roles would have been better for the films franchise. But not sure which star or main performers would fill better the roll, Liam Neeson is height wise and brooding perfect but too old. Tom Cruise problem too, getting to be 60 now...
Where’s the “No True Scotsman” trope?
well written books
Sound on your video is very weak. If you copied it from the original film or video there should have been no problem. What went wrong?
TBH I uploaded that clip such a long time ago I don't remember anything in relations to the video source used.
@@JohnnyFrickinRico you would have think ya committed a war crime with the comments in this video lol

They picked the wrong actor to play the lawyer. Her facial expressions contrast way too much with his cool demeanor. In almost every scene, her eyes and expressions just go so over the top that she keeps looking like a deer in the headlights.
Perhaps that's how the character was.meant to be played? After all isn't she some rich girl who got where she is thanks to daddy? And now she finds herself smack in the middle of a this conspiracy where she's in wayyyy over her head.
Yep, I think that was intentional - they were trying to have the contrast between their approaches, demeanors, experience, etc.
