You shouldn’t there’s nothing going on here just stopping your phone to work as your phone should ….this sounds good but if you don’t know none of this stuff leaves your phone ……on device your safe ….none of this stuff will make your phone runs faster or save you battery life this is not Android

I don’t think you’re right about the ‘change ringtone and alert volume with buttons’ setting. It only changes with buttons when media isn’t playing, so when you reduce volume when watching a RUclips video, your alarm volume will not change. Hope this helps :)
Very true! The reason I ended up changing it is because when something is playing and I press it too soon it adjust the ring tone volume, THEN when I try to change it back the volume only effects the media playing. It was super annoying to me and more beneficial to set it and forget it since I use the silent button frequently.
Exactly this. You can only adjust your ringtone/alarm volume if you have NO OTHER MEDIA playing. The phone even confirms this for you. When you adjust volume while playing a game/watching a video/listening to music, it'll show a volume slider on the left side of the screen next to the volume buttons. When you adjust the volume of the ringer/alarm, it'll appear at the TOP of the screen and show "ringer."
I can not get my ringtone to be silent at all after updating to 18. Even in Do not disturb focus mode, it rings. I can get it really low but not silent and if I do that the alarm is also really low

4:15 He said it saves battery drain. What happens is that wherever you go, your wifi will keep searching for networks. The searching takes energy to do.
I saw another comment stating that the slider NOT appearing may have something to do with battery health. I think that may be correct. I have an iPhone 12 mini with 79% battery health, and I don’t have the slider either.

Or just use the battery normally since it’ll endure regular use for longer than most people’s upgrade cycles even without taking special care to maximize its lifespan. It’s really only people that push their phones to the absolute limit of their battery lives because they spend a ton of time outdoors and away from civilization or something that really need to worry about any of this. Most of us in the developed world are close enough to an outlet or car charger for enough of the day that battery life is basically a non-issue for practical purposes when you consider the charging time of these modern devices.
I just updated my 15PM. So far it feels snappy. Didn't encounter any bugs or problems. Your videos are always helpful. Appreciate you guys for doing this. ❤️

i faced the same problem when i updated to 18 beta, had to pay out of my pockets, updated the phone yesterday to official 18 release yesterday night. So far no problems

I can’t change the max battery percentage (iPhone 14 Pro Max). Only optimized battery charging. Communication preferences I don’t have the Apple News Newsletter. But besides that I did have a few new settings to turn of. Thank you for that 👍
If you have two lines, the stuff in the cellular data options will be under the eSIM section, but you have to set it for each individual line under the eSims section

I usually had them turned off from the previous iOS versions, as you recommended on the older videos... but when I see new video about the new iOS on this channel, I still checks the settings so that I can still save battery life and for 2 yrs, my battery still last until the whole day... unless, of course I watch videos or play games on it... but if it's just a usual check my messages and reply to messages, I last almost until the evening...

I turned off clean energy and optimized charging and my iphone 13 pro max has been sitting at Maximum capacity 90% for about 6 months.
10% battery loss in 6 months is horrible.
