Hyper Backup would be very similar to ABB when backing up one NAS to another. Hyper Backup can do a lot of different destinations but ABB just seems purpose-built to for a bare metal backup for a NAS to another NAS. Again, Hyper Backup can do that too but it's maybe minor details in how it backups, where, and honestly what you prefer. Also, check on the details of Retention Policy. ABB has Grandfather-Father-Son while Hyper Backup is general older versions replaced eventually. Using ABB instead, you can also then use Hyper Backup to BACKUP your ABB backup :)
why did you not use Hyper Backup Vault instead? I've read its the preferred option to backup a NAS
I hope someone responds to this, because I can't find that answer anywhere. Why is HB preferred over ABB for NAS backups?
