Yo Sam I don't know what it is exactly, but you got something unique about your videos, it just flows so nicely, the music, humor, information, human element. I'm sure it takes a container load of effort, but it sure is appreciated 👍👍.
Oh memories of this apartment. Since I've followed you from the beginning, I've seen it for years and kinda have a creepy mind map of it in my head. 😂😅 Can't wait to see more of the new place though. Mr. Farmlife 🐴
I wish Fuji would offer the 18-55 as a kit with the X-E4, especially since the new 27 isn’t even available yet. Buying the lens and camera separately doesn’t make sense, financially. Your work convinced me this is a great combination.
Some of my favourite photos I've ever taken were at a container yard just like this. I also got in "legally", by crawling under the fence...Whatever works!
Thank you for your honest review. Every other review I saw said that the video is entirely unusable from this camera. That made no sense to me. Clearly it is fine for basic video . Thank you. Your videos look amazing
I have the X-E3 and use the 18-55 alot,- but I also have the XC 16-50.... smaller and with OIS. Great for small trips or street. Great video. Thanks. Danke dir..... MfG aus Dänemark.
@@param2014 The 18-55 is an awesome lens. Great quality and a relatively small formfactor. Ofcourse the X-E4 is a better camera with the new X-Processor 4 and BSI-CMOS. The 26 mp is not so important. The 18-55mm was the standard kit lens on the X-E3, so yeah, makes perfect sense on the X-E4. Hey, I take pictures of the ground! I’m glad I’m not the only one...phew I’m not 🤪 .You know, sometimes the most interesting photos can be right there at your feet.
yay maya & film again. 😀 kodak gold 200 at night? why not lol. Really good editing work here in any case absolutely entertaining. 👍The X-E4 is good for vlogging until you put a rode video micro on it. 😅

So you actually live in Hamburg, I didn't get it before, sorry. I visited it a few times and really enjoyed it. I hope you like your new place as it soon will be a family home. Thanks for sharing and have fun!
One quick question The Fuji XE4 is capable of recording video with 200mb/s but it only accepts UHS-I SD cards. One of the fastest UHS-I SD cards is the SanDisk Extreme Pro which only writes with 90MB/s. This wouldn’t even be enough for recording with 100MB/s. Am I confusing something here? Please help :)
I use 64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro cards with 170MB/s and I think I can record 200mb/s with no problem. On my X-H1 I definitely can and I use the same cards. But I never actually shot 200mb/s on the X-E4. I shoot with 100mb/s only because the file size is smaller. And I don't grade my footage too hard to see any difference on youtube.
Hey Samuel, I’m watching your videos from a while now and I’d like to compliment with you. You’re one of the few RUclipsrs never bored me. I just have one quick question: How can you focus on photography and video at the same time? Sometimes I think to make video as well but I’m too worried to lose moments. I’d like to know your thoughts on this. Thank you so much and keep going please!!
Thanks for the kind words Ruggero! This is a good question! And easy to answer. Yes, it is very hard to shoot video while taking pictures at the same time. My photography definitely suffers when I shoot youtube videos but I go out just for photography as well. Otherwise I would become very unhappy very quick. And actually I think I need to take more of these solo photo only trips but I do also enjoy making videos so at the moment I can live with doing both. But sometimes my video shoots also bring me opportunities that I otherwise wouldn't get when I go out to take pictures. Because I have a goal in mind and sometimes it requires me to be at multiple locations on the same day so I sometimes get to see more variety because of that. Someday I will do a video about it :) Because the struggle is real and I think many people underestimate what it takes to do videos and present decent photos at the same time :)
@@SamuelStreetlife yes was a corny question, but since I’ve always been thinking to make some videos I was wondering how can you do it and show very good photos on your videos. I don’t think I’d be so multitasking :) Would be great to see a video about it. Thank you!
Just the combination I'm planning to acquire. Can someone confirm by what factor video on the S10 with 18-55 is better than on the E4? Meaning, will it make a big difference to someone shooting casual content? Say, RUclips videos?
My cousin lives in Munich (I know far away) but when I visit we should definitely go shooting. She's a huge Casey Neistat fan so she buys whatever camera he buys (just kidding, she hates it when I say this) but maybe I can convince her to try Fuji, Ricoh or a film camera :-)

I experienced overheating after 1 hour of 4K recording. But the X-E4 has a recording limit of 30 minutes so if you take a little break after 30min it should be fine. But I wouldn't stretch it avoid recording until the limit. Maybe do 10min sessions if you need to and you should be able to record one hour of 4K footage. Also, in warm weather it overheats faster. In my experience recording mostly vlogs with it (short clips) it doesn't overheat. Hope that helps!
Im really thinking on selling my a6500 for the x-e4 (i can't afford an xpro3 sad) but im worried about the video side of the camera, you think it's worth it?
What do you fear you are missing out? If you use your A6500 for video a lot than the X-E4 might feel like a downgrade. But I personally never used a A6000 so I can't speak of personal experience. Photo photography the X-E4 is a lot of fun! And it does shoot video they way I do on my X-H1.

Yep, the 18-55 it’s the best. I’ve Started with that one and after changing a lot of lenses I’m back using it, it’s sharp and versatile
It has all the "street" focal lengths in one lens! :) Very convenient.
Dude I’m shocked how well that did with no IBIS and just lens OIS! Awesome video 🤘🏻
Samuel, love the classical guitar duet you choose for the music. You always have great music to go with the mood of your locations!
The 18-55 is a surprisingly good “kit” lens. Except for the Fujifilm 50-140, I rarely use my other Fuji lenses on my XE-2
