I had a firestick that was just sitting in a drawer that was given to me, along with a 256 GB USB drive.

Seriously great video, I have been wondering how to add external storage to the stick and move content, now I know. The ethernet idea appeals to me greatly so invested in one and a OTG cable. Be fun doing this and seeing if I can get it to work.
I'm loving this video! I have my 78 inch LG smart tv hardwired to my router. But I can't wait to add a 2T external storage to my stick. I'm running the Cobra Broadcasting App per your suggestion and it really works well along with my other add ons. Thanks. I'm going to give ES Pro a try. I have used other methods to transfer files back and forth and the regular version of ES was not very effective. I'll see how this works for me.
That's great, because fire stick comes with 6gb I think after installing few apps, only 1 gb left...

If I opt for a flash drive for now instead of the ext HD would you recommend 2.0 or 3.0? Does the fire stick support 3.0?
I finally was able to download the app. I am trying to delete redundant files. I select all but I can't figure out how to highlight the delete button to remove the files ( they all have Kodi in the filename so I assume they are safe to delete). I also can't delete duplicate files. Please help.

Sorry, our experience was different. No problems at all. Did exactly what was shown on the video.
These OTG Adapters don't allow my ethernet to get through to the Firestick. I've tried all options. Rather keep my ethernet connection

Sounds great, and just the sort of thing I need. But now I'm going to scan through your videos and see if you've done a similar thing, but hooking to a NAS instead - I've got one of those and if I can hook that in instead, I'll have even more storage and some protection for the data, too

Yep got one of those, was the first thing I looked into... Indispensable for Firestick. Got an old 1tb hard drive plugged in, a flash drive and a game controller. I'm a big fan of SBCs but you can save yourself hassle installing these and get a Firestick 4k, a on sale it cannot be beaten.

I find these videos extremely helpful!! Thank You! This one is really frustrating me however, I purchased the Seagate 2 TB external drive in from Amazon, and all it does is go in a constant loop constantly making my firestick reset. I thought I had a faulty drive so I exchanged it for another, and the same thing is happening. Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?
That is a power issue. In your case it's either the firestick isn't plugged into the 2amp firestick plug (maybe a different plug, or direct into the tv?). Or your firestick has too many resources being used. Have you closed all your background apps? Do you run background apps and processes apk?
Once again, the person I believe to be the guru on firestick, has produced another great video. Question. should I move apps to the external drive? If so, will they no longer appear on my home screen?
I wouldn't. I have about 40 apps and don't need to run any off external drive. I have it in case I need to move something temporarily or transfer to another device. But running apps can be done if you are in a bind

We will. It's an advanced video. Have you deleted all your installer files and cleared cache already? easier step and we already have that video. I have about 80 Apps on my firestick no problem
