#1 is a great tip, but in my case, I have my Firestick powered by the USB port on my LG TV, and the port powers off with the TV, so my Firestick is basically rebooted every time I turn on my TV. This is likely the case for many people who power their Firesticks from the TV USB port.
Please be careful with that. If your firestick is updating and you turn your tv off during this update it will fry your firestick. I hear about it all the time. I don’t recommend using your USB port unless you promise to turn off auto updates.

Bluetooth headphones is a game changer for us in the UK watching the UFC at stupid o'clock in the morning or watching a movie in bed alongside a sleeping partner. Great tips. Thank you very much indeed. I only knew of 2 of these features
You would need to change your Amazon account to that region. Another option would be to get a region free android box. Will work better than a firestick as well.
The link you shared to the Bluetooth controller says it’s only for other products and it requires a usb to be plugged in, in order to use it. Not all TVs have those. Just an fyi for anyone else who was going looking for it like I did as per his recommendation. Of course, my knowledge with those things is limited however as I’ve never tried it.
You just need an otg adapter. We share this in our videos. If that is not something you want to add ($4 part), then you can always get a bluetooth version for a few dollars more
my fire stick remote has been eating batteries every day i have to change them, sometimes twice a day. i have found reset options online but none of that worked, i sent in a complaint with amazon. just seeing if you receive that complaint as well? thanks for this video!

Can you tell me if there is a ti e lock on the pause function. I used to have. Roku stick and I could pause, make a cuppa or even have a shower before I came and resumed watching. With the Firestick, it will only hold a pause for a few minutes before it goes back to the home page. How do I take off any time lock please. Much appreciated.
I have a fire stick that will not boot up. It starts showing Amazon, then fire stick, the three dots and hangs at that point. The thee dots keep going but it boots no further. I have unplugged it to restart it, and have tried the select+home buttons to no effect. Is there anything else I could try, or is the fire stick toast?
You know this will sometimes happen when the stick is "auto updating" and loses a signal. I always tell people to turn off auto updates the moment they get the stick (it's in some of our support videos). In your case you will likely have to factory reset it with the remote code. Have you watched that video?

Great videos. I have issue with my remote it doesn't connect anymore. I have replaced batteries and unplugged the firestick wait for 30 seconds plug back in. Still no connection. Any word of advice.
Try this. Hold down the HOME button on the remote for 10-15 seconds until it starts blinking at the top fast. Then let go set it down and wait 30 seconds. This will start the sync mode. If it never blinks at the top, you have either bad batteries, or a bad remote. If it does, then you should be good to go after this.

You will simply need go into settings under equipment control and select your tv. We have videos on this process

You might have apps running in the background all night and aren’t closing them or turning your stick off at night

Ethernet adapter will allow for a more stable signal. Could be helpful to avoid buffering. But you must be near a router or node
