I quite like the visuals. How dark everything is, its as the group are playing in the vast cold universe Ian sings about. Especially during Wilderness as he fades almost like an watchful phantom.
Spot on. Not drugs. He danced like that before he was epileptic, so it made no difference. The music and his lyrics were a feeling and it went through his body like electricity. It wasn't false, it was unique, and made him stand out as a front man like no other.
At the very beginning, during the soundcheck, there is another guy that is testing the mic (although similar dress to Ian, this guy has longer hair in the back and maybe glasses - which you notice the difference when Ian comes on stage with different (shorter) haircut testing out the mic distortion level) right afterwards. Who might this be - a roadie? Pils or Twinny?

the light was set very dramatic during the JD shows, coming from one side leaving other side totally dark.
+1 can hear Hooky great!
Ian's dancing is not weird or dictated by the meds, it's the only logical way to dance to Joy Division's music
You’re so right
Ian's dance is based on a punk dance called 'the dead fly' where a person is crawling over de floor like a dying fly. Ian did this standing up.

The dance has nothing to do with epilepsia, he danced so because he saw it has the effect to audience.
Dark, cold and beauty
All there songs and performances are very haunting because you always have that “he was x amount of months away from taking his own life” throughout
My favorite band until the day I stop breathing.

I'm fairly certain that was Twinny, Terry always had shorter hair from every picture I've seen
The sound check is a damn hilarious
