The intro to Crazy on You is the best intro ever. When I first heard this on the radio back when life was real and we were free, I was blown away. God I miss those days.
Another year, be 80 years old if I last another month. This is the best there is, best video, best of Heart, best of her band, best of the sisters, best of rock and roll!
Loved em as a young teenager, still love em now(turning 60), give me these over Beyonce or Tay Tay any day of the week, Thank you for all these years of great music & great times !
Sometimes Nancy tends to get lost in Ann’s shadow and then you hear this guitar intro and you realize how equally talented they are with their own instruments.
I remember hearing this song in the 70s as a little kid. My mom would play their music all the time. The 70s , what an iconic error. A lot of great music came out of it.
That is by far the best solo guitar intro ever! She beat it up the whole song. Ann and nancy are immortal power houses! Regret never being able to see them live.
After she rips the intro, when she kicks her knee up on that opening chord, the look on her face is like "I'm gonna burn this place down with this song." Which they did.
Always the way it was supposed to be! Done done and done! I've been doing this my entire life and I tell my students if you can't get up there with an acoustic guitar and sing the song through then go home and play until you get it right and sing until you get it right because this is why serious Juju right here! Gives me chills now and I had the album and still do original pressing! And yep it does sound better!
Nancy's Intro is not just so serene, it shows a lot of complexity in melody making It's so melodic, yet so gentle and seems simple But any decent guitarist will know for sure that it's not easy at all to perform What an amazing guitarist she is, genuinly one of the greatest of all times not just for "Female" guitarists
Tend to think there's a good deal of the acoustic Steve Howe influence in her playing- so many of the better known rock guitarists were listening to him back then. Big Zep fans too I've read- can definitely hear that much!
seriously, one of the most talented rock vocalists out there. most her contemporaries lost their voices decades ago and she's still phenomenal in her 70s. fantastic technique and power.

how many people get chills when they hear nancy wilson play this intro? EDIT:Thank you everyone for all the likes. i never expected my comment to be that well received! 😊
Watching this band preform live is magical. They are all masters of their craft and Ann & Nancy bring me to tears with their beautiful voices, harmonizing perfectly together. Two of the best female vocalist of the 70's, 80's and beyond. Legends! ♥
@@ryanhess9397 Yeah, they are phenomenal! The bands of those times (really late 50s - 80s...maybe some early/mid 90's) had so much talent!! It just doesn't feel the same with groups/music since then.
The Wilson sisters don't get enough credit IMO. The whole "one of the best female....." thing sells them short. They're one of the best...period. Few rockers could ever match Ann's abilities. Nancy is a really fine guitarist. The talent there is spectacular.
I burned out on almost all of the classic rock I used to listen to when I was younger, but Heart never ceases to blow me away. Ann's voice is just something unbelievable.
she's just a properly trained singer, unlike the majority of pop singers. It isn't magic, just proper technique. She still tends to eat the mic which must have driven the engineers crazy. An SM57 is insensitive enough to handle a proper singer but the levels have to be right. College trained singers tend to know where to hold the mic so the engineer doesn't have to change the levels every time you pick up the mic. For me, it is about 3 1/2 ft away from my mouth at about a 45 degree angle. In the pop world, it is a miracle to get singing this competent in the first place. But, yeah, most pop singers have zero idea what they're doing and lean on the electronics to produce sound. I've heard better drunken karaoke performances from amateurs than your average Top 40 singer. Don't even get me started on country...All I have to do to sing country well is channel my inner redneck, ham it up and use my worst singing technique, basically do everything the opposite of how I was trained. I get standing ovations when I sing karaoke simply because I know what I'm doing. I'm not exactly Pavarotti.
Yeah, she and Robert Plant could've been siblings, as I see it.. she's amazing, even when she lashes out with some high notes her voice ''feels'' nice to my eardrum, even though you can feel the power. That's not only tecnique, that's also talent
To those who had the audacity to claim Nancy's guitar wasn't plugged in or she played "ok for a girl", I offer this classic intro as proof of pure, unadulterated talent. Simply iconic.
I remember the first time I heard their records, back in the 70’s. My sister’s friend was a fan. All these years I am still impressed. They deserve all the acclaim they can get. Great band, great performers.
When she pulls back and crouches down, I get chills. Like watching a panther gathering itself to launch a deadly attack. Then there’s nothing but pure, unrelenting aggression. Masterful, raw power in that first step. Frozen in time, that instant speaks. “Hold my beer, you’re gonna love this shit.”
@@kaypowell407 I'm a 50 year old Woman. I heard Alone in 1987 and was frozen, thought "Who ARE these People? What IS this song?" as it was being played as the number one song on Video Hits (Canada). I think I drove my Local Radio Station by calling repeatedly to have them play Alone. Saw this video, saw them LIVE in 1988 and I think she did that crouch thing. I wanted my hair done like her hair was done, cut, etc.
No they wouldn't be hype at all. It's not about hoes cocaine bitches snitches, gangsters. And nobody knows what a guitar is let alone how difficult it is to master. I'm 42. Had 2 guitars in my life. I still have trouble playing smoke on the water.
As people age, voices lower, that's why so many singers in the higher ranges don't have what they used to. Ann Wilson though has always had a register that goes lower, that is why she v still sounds good. Guitar work like Nancy's never diminishes with age
The extended intro by Nancy is a joy. Flamenco style, then blues, funk, back to flamenco. I was 16 when they burst onto the scene. Bought the vinyls & cranked it up! Here, I note that A & N are fashionably dressed, but the guys are wearing the "low-cut tops". Ann & Nancy didn't have to perform half-naked to draw attention, their raw talent was more than enough. Ann's vocals range from tenderness to sheer power! At the end as guitarists are blasting around the stage, they had to remember that their guitars were plugged in! Couldn't trip over the cords, or become unplugged. Pretty amazing to watch them do this successfully!
So funny you say you were 16. I was a bicentennial baby. I love the Wilson sisters and all the collaborations throughout their musical impact on the world…. Wow! (Tewa)..”awupana!
@@tiffb1300 Thanks, will have a listen. Back in the 80s, I could borrow vinyl records from our local library. That's where I discovered flamenco type music. Plus, could check out classical music albums, all other sorts of music, which we didn't have access to on radio stations. The variety of acoustic guitar music, of sorts I had rarely heard, was a gift to my ears! Our small/ medium sized library system provided education and pleasure.
I wouldn't disagree with you but there's a lot more to it than just playing. I'm sure a lot of people could outplay her but they will never come close to being her.@@fredmoore8661
I will NEVER call Nancy an under-rated guitarist! Nancy is sooo accomplished, she is the backbone of heart, beautiful voice, producer, writer and all around bad-ass musician.
That stunning introductory guitar solo took 6 months for me to master by ear & watching Nancy’s fingers Sizzle along the fretboard! I’m merely a mimic but just had to master THAT guitar solo! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery; Thank you Nancy for making that creative introductory acustic guitar solo part of my muscle memory ! Just Crazy on this 1978 version of ‘Crazy on You'!❤❤❤😮😮😮
They are properly trained singers. Nothing more, nothing less. Problem is the average person just creams their pants when they hear a competent singer because they are rare in popular music.
David Hatfield Take a listen to Gabriel and the apocalypse. They signed with pavement record just over a year ago and she can belt out the songs. They have a number of videos on RUclips. Thrll of the kill, and beauty under glass are a couple of good ones. Let me know what you think.
I moved to Seattle in January of 1977. Needless to say I heard lots of Heart. The ladies are tremendous musicians, no doubt. But here is something that perhaps many people don't know. At 'home' in the PNW they stayed 'local'. By that I mean they weren't too big to play smaller venues. Hell, they even played the state fair where you could see them for $10 (or something equally ridiculous) They never forgot how they got started and who their first fans were. Great musicians, even greater people.
Starship did the same thing here in California...Seen em FREE at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk two summers ago...years ago they would do fairs also...loved it and still do! By the way this is an awesome performance! Eric Underwood class of 81 Downey High School California...ps did a lot of floors out at Sea Tac...
@@slipshaft That's awesome, Max. In 1982, they played in my Junior High school's gym. It sure was an awesome day to be a Heart fan. In the class yearbook, they all signed their autographs, too.
It’s “crazy” to hear this after quite a while and realize what a great song it is and what a great musical arrangement and performance. But, for me personally it is absolutely “crazy” to think back to when it was first released and that it was just another “good” song getting radio play at the time. To me, it is an example of how much truly awesome talent and music there was back then. Yeah I guess I’ve become one of those old dudes talkin’ ‘bout the good ol’ days.
Marty, they were the going old days. Nothing wrong with looking back. That’s what’s nice about growing old. The memories. We’re blessed because there will never be music like this ever again. The times back then were simpler. All you needed was good friends, FM radio and a job. Do I miss them? Sure. You want to know something cool? Sometimes I can’t remember where I parked my car. But play a song from 50 years ago, and I can remember every lyric, every note, every guitar riff. I thank God that I’m still here and can remember. I thought that I could go back and relive some of those days. You can’t. The music is still there but the people I looked up were nothing like the people I remember partying with. I have a new life. Jesus came into my life at a time when I was headed for one of two places. Jail or the grave. Gave my life to Jesus and its been one amazing journey. It’s time same today. Everyone is headed for one of two places. Heaven or Hell. For ten years I lived in hell. Needle marks on my arms and empty whiskey bottles on the kitchen table. I had enough. Where are you going? Accept Jesus into your life and there won’t be any doubt. Even if you don’t believe in Heaven and Hell, and you say to yourself “I’m a good person,” can your be 100% sure where you’ll spend eternity? Just something to think about. Stay safe , stay well Marty.
Wow! That opening! When I watch these old concerts I sometimes wonder, as I do here: Did the people there knew they were witnessing a kicking, gorgeous moment in music history? Or was it just another night for them? Are we ever aware how amazing the present moment is? Nancy Wilson played solo acoustic for 3 minutes there. It was a blues/classical/rock recital. That's not something you see every day. I feel blessed to just watch the video.
@@S2Wiley I'm very happy to hear that. I hope you also know, then, how lucky you were to experience her music. It wasn't just that Nancy was special, but you were too. Without you, there would be no Nancy Wilson. :)
Ya just can't find talent like this anymore!! Ann is a powerhouse and Nancy kicks ass on that guitar!! I have always admired these two sister chicks and can't wait till they come to Greensboro, NC 2024!! I'm there!! I've never seen Heart live cause I never really had the money to pay for Tix. The last time they were in NC,my invalid grandfather was living with my husband and I, and I was taking care of him basically 24/7, 365. Nobody would help us. Then at the end, he went to the hospital and never came back. died at the hospital. After that, I became disabled I couldn't do anything anymore cause my own health was fading. And I didn't get to see them growing up cuz my parents were strict Christians and they said no. I'm a Christian now too but I don't think Heartvis all like some of these bands today!!:But bands from the 60s,70s,80s,90, I don't know if any and all bad. All I know, you tell someone no, especially when she really loves a band, she gonna go!! Just like I saw Marilyn Manson. I didn't care for him. His brand of music what I was looking for. I loved Heart, Poison, Def Leppard, Cinderella, Mötley Crüe, Warrant, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, etc. all I know is, Heart is a damn monster band! They're bigger then life and I love both those chicks!! They literally kick ass!!! Go girls!!🎉 We love y'all!!!💜my husband was fortunate enough to see y'all back in the early 90s I hate him for that. And now I don't know if we'll get to go to the concert. But we're going to fight tooth and nail to raise that money for Tix!! I have to see Ann. She's awesome 😎. That voice!! She's better than, Whitney, Mariah or Celine. The only other one that sounds just as great as Ann that can get on up there, is Barbara Striesand. You go girls!! Much love from NC!! Keep rocking and rolling!!💜💜💜
I've fixated so much on Anne and Nancy, that I forgot how kick ass this band was - everything so tight, drummer kept great time and guitar and keyboards were perfect. Throw in Anne's throaty vocals and Nancy's lead/rhythm switch-overs - this band, Heart was a great concert band!
I'm pretty sure they would, if they listened to this. Unfortunately most people dont. The first time I listened to this I fell in love with Heart, so that's why im saying they would realize it if they'd listen.
actually she wasnt/isnt.... a man actually wrote and played all the lead parts, the am c d e progression is literally elementary.....she was just a cute chik on a guitar but by no means whatsoever influential or groundbreaking in any way.
I was actually at this concert...at the time I was too young to appreciate what a true privilege it was to be in their presence at this time. Get chills every time I watch this video. They simply rock.
I watch this performance maybe 5 or 6 times a year. It gives me goosebumps every time. So raw, so powerful, so damned good. I guess I listen to it more than watch it, though, because the Star Trek uniforms, poofy shirts, and bathrobes crack me up everytime. 😆
This is, in adrition to showing how incredible al of the musicians in Heart were, is one of the finest live concent performances ever. Cooking on all cylinders musically, and a visual masterpiece. Howard Leese is a criminally under rated guitarist, & Ann's maintaining her volume when bowing low on "my love, the pleasure's mine" -- mind-blowing.
Ann's voice control is out of this world. I don't know fans understand how difficult it is to control your voice with range with this form of singing. This is a gift.
I was just watching the Roy Orbison PBS fundraiser last night. And they noted that he recorded his last two albums in the morning hours because he couldn't control his vibrato later in the day. And Roy had been doing it for quite a while. @@RitaColacoNuminous
I can only speak for myself. And you're not making a point, you're stating an opinion. I assume you know the difference, although it's a very stupid opinion because you're talking about yourself. Animals don't create. They don't manipulate and change the world around them. They are exclusively part of nature. On planet Earth the only creatures that create their own world and reality is humanity. They sure as shit don't create music or art like this song. Why do I have to explain this to you? What's your point? Do you have one? Your weak attempts to 'insult' me are pointless, you're wasting your time. Now like I told you before little kid, think of something clever to say or please, do the rest of humanity a favor and read a book, look inside yourself, pray to God, do SOMETHING other than spew your hateful, resentful nonsense. I wouldn't be surprised if you did though, given you're just an animal, you clearly have a lot of practice at acting dumb.
And no other mammal on planet earth in recorded history has created a building, a car, an airplane, duh. It's not the same thing, certainly not how you mean it. If that's how YOU feel, by all means, go ahead and think you're an animal. But that's on you, not anybody else. And again, a kid is a goat, if you're going by definitions calling a human a goat is inappropriate. The word is children. The earth could do without wretched people like you. Notice you're the only one spouting insults? It's a reflection of you, deep down you're an ugly, bitter, resentful person probably because your life sucks. And to think this all started because you acted like a douche. Didn't your mommy and daddy ever teach you to be polite? It's what separates the animals from the humans, though, then again, you ARE an animal so it's not very surprising. And for the third time. You're still not saying anything clever, not anything worth reading. I'll show my children this as a good example of how simpletons behave and how it makes them appear. I'm finished with this conversation, it was my mistake because I hadn't taken into account some wisdom(you should try some, maybe pray to God to save your wretched soul). When you argue with an idiot nobody can tell the difference and they beat you with experience.
Ok I think this comment went to far...although take nothing away from heart and the Wilson sisters but there are some 80 hair bands were pretty bad ass ...Tom kieffer of cinderella is up there guitar and lyrics different vocals but still good ...I mean theres a long list sebastian Bach could sing too
She is amazing! Not only is she a phenomenal acoustic guitarist, she can also rock out hard while wearing high-heeled boots! Her playing style fits the mood of each song perfectly. She can play very gently and then the next minute she is fired up, doing high kicks and swirling around like a desert whirlwind.
Anyone who has ever picked up an acoustic guitar knows how difficult that intro is to play. She does something called "hybrid picking" where she keeps a rhythm on her A-string with a pick while pulling off notes on the other (higher-B&G) strings with her bare fingers. I dont think I'll ever get this down and I've tried it about 1000x!
@@slipshaft He meant that. He literally thanked you for illuminating her talent. Why are you calling him an idiot? And, she’s great, but hybrid picking is hardly an exotic technique.
@@bobzapp658 in a nutshell, it's easy to just bang out chords and strum like you're sawing a log, but when you get into more complex picking patterns, it requires quite a bit of coordination and practice. This and the fact that she wrote this intro puts her in an elite class of guitarists.
Ironically, a "How to play Crazy on You Intro" tutorial is side-by-side with your comment on my screen right now. lol I know what you mean, though. I played classical guitar a little in high school, but Nancy's talent was and still is through the roof! So underrated.
Kevin Larson She KNEW she was in charge. She picked it up and ABSOLUTELY shredded it. I don’t think there is a better female guitarist. Period. How can you be this good without selling your soul?
Agreed.... Her flowing Rock n Roll hair really adds to her professional Showmanship . I run out of suitable adjective's when trying to fully describe her. Either I`m not that smart or she`s just too damn good.
No auto tune back then folks ! I should know because I was around back then and witnessed it all. What a great time to be alive and live history in the making
+ComfortBlades Funny you should compare Ann with Freddie. I went to see Queen supported by Heart at Milton Keynes about 30 years ago. Due to some blagging i got back stage and bumped into Roger Taylor. He was so chilled and he asked if i wanted his autograph. I said yeah great but I'd realy like Nancy's. He was maybe a little surprised but was cool and i got to meet Ann and Nancy. Talked to them for all of 5 seconds before i got removed. Never saw Freddie though. But was still amazing. The gig was great
+ComfortBlades - I've always been a big Queen fan, as well as a Heart fan. Saw both bands in the 70s (Heart in 1977, Queen in 1978) and both were fantastic shows. Freddie was, of course, the consummate charismatic front man. And his singing was great for the most part, but honestly his vocals just didn't hold up live the way they did on record. They weren't bad, far from it, but there was a quality drop that was noticeable from time to time (I recorded that show for my own personal use and have listened to it countless times over the years, so I do remember it very well). But that really didn't matter because the SHOW itself was so great. I certainly heard no complaints from anyone after the concert, that's for sure. By contrast, Ann Wilson live back then was just unbelievable. There was absolutely no drop in vocal quality and if anything her vocals were better live than on record. And, needless to say, she was also the epitome of the charismatic performer. One thing to note in this clip is at 3:58 when Ann bends her head down and hits that sustained note. Now THAT is impressive. Heart was definitely one of the best live bands of the 70s. No doubt about it.
I have Nancy's pick. It was in the 80's when me and my buddies would travel throughout New England hitting up Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Yngwie, Dokken and such. We were used to a tougher crowd to get up front, so when Heart came around with general admission seating we easily made our way to the front. I was right in front of Nancy the whole time, and she tossed me her pick. Best moment of my young life.
I got kicked out of Heart concert out of all the concerts including the names above Yngvie opened for AC/DC at the Garden and that was a blood bath at the end of the night on the floor . to this day I dont know exactly why I got kicked out of heart my ex- reminded me
Nancy Wilson was the heart of Heart. Before her there was a concept that a woman couldn't play rock guitar as good as a man. She smashed that concept to shreds.
WarPaint 47 you fucking idiot. You have no clue what music is. These two sisters embodied the sound rock music was supposed to sound like. Get back under your rock.
It's AMAZING what Ann Wilson can do with her voice. She can hit those notes easily and keep going ... Perfect performance. And Nancy .. Well ... Nancy is brilliant!
+Sophia D. - You are wise! :-) I didn't see this show, but I saw them during the Little Queen tour in the fall of 1977. It was fantastic...they were definitely one of the best live bands of the 70s, and that is saying something. Ann was all over the stage, singing flawlessly. That was the main thing I remember about that show...the power and quality of that voice, with the incredible range and expression. Live, without "auto tune" or anything like that, and it was perfect. Plus she was a dynamic performer. And, of course, Nancy was a superb performer also, showing her musicianship and stage presence. That band packed a wallop on stage.
+Sophia D. You would be absolutely impressed! I saw them 20 years ago at the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis where Cheap Trick opened for them. Talk about a great show!
+Sophia D. My old "crazy on you" bookmark didnt work anymore... so i went looking for a new, and so glad for this, this just is "Beyond Legend" to me...

Nancy is so awesome with the guitar. She rocks in every way possible. Ann, I mean no one can sing like her. She has so much power in her voice. She sings Led Zeppelin songs with such ease. I love her flute playing too.
You know what's weird? You ever have one of those moments where you really pay attention to a band, and you realize how talented they are? I always knew Ann Wilson could sing, but I'm having an epiphany or something right now watching this performance. She's producing that gorgeous, crystal clear voice with such little effort.

Watching this band preform live is magical. They are all masters of their craft and Ann & Nancy bring me to tears with their beautiful voices, harmonizing perfectly together. Two of the best female vocalist of the 70's, 80's and beyond. Legends! ♥
We are not going to see those talented rockers anytime soon.
@@giantsnation9347 They are on tour. They’ll be in my home town in March. Tickets are on sale now. This will be my 3rd time seeing them preform live.
Not just the best of the 70ties and 80ties. I can’t think of any better
@@ryanhess9397 Yeah, they are phenomenal! The bands of those times (really late 50s - 80s...maybe some early/mid 90's) had so much talent!! It just doesn't feel the same with groups/music since then.
Nancy Wilson is the Real Deal, Man!!!
I dont know how many times I've heard this song in my life and I still get goosebumps.
Even better live. So good!

truly one of the greatest vocalists in rock history
Truth. Ann has voice. Nancy has indispensable talent. Very special.
She sang stair way to heaven to led zeppelin present omg just amazing
The Wilson sisters don't get enough credit IMO. The whole "one of the best female....." thing sells them short. They're one of the best...period. Few rockers could ever match Ann's abilities. Nancy is a really fine guitarist. The talent there is spectacular.
Ann is without a doubt the best vocalist in rock music male or female period.
I burned out on almost all of the classic rock I used to listen to when I was younger, but Heart never ceases to blow me away. Ann's voice is just something unbelievable.
Exactly. Male or female they are the best
So true. Yes
True! Have you heard Budgie? She is awesome, too. You may like them as well.
I could watch Nancy play all day long. Captivating
One of the best solo lead-ins you'll ever hear..!!!
The lung capacity, the breath control, and the vocal range that Ann Wilson possesses is craaaazy!!!🤯🤩✨🎶✨🎶✨🎶
Absolutely ❤
I pretend I m singing whenever I hear this❤
she's just a properly trained singer, unlike the majority of pop singers.
The way her hair is flowing in the wind during the intro is so badass
Everything about her is badass... You should redefine rock and roll badasserie to mach what she did here.
Epic!
It totally is

To those who had the audacity to claim Nancy's guitar wasn't plugged in or she played "ok for a girl", I offer this classic intro as proof of pure, unadulterated talent. Simply iconic.

P.s. check out Charro! She is an amazing flamenco guitarist!

Not just in the pnw.. I saw them at a high school football field in Michigan about 15 years ago!
I agree 100%. They played in my Junior High school gym in 1982. The entire school just had an awesome time that day. 😎
@@slipshaft That's awesome, Max. In 1982, they played in my Junior High school's gym. It sure was an awesome day to be a Heart fan. In the class yearbook, they all signed their autographs, too.
I saw them in Shreveport, La. I think it was labeled the "Dreamboat Annie" tour.
It's when us old people knew what REAL R&R was about.
Old broad here, talkin' 'bout the same thing.
Seriously, so glad to have found this video. Still the best, most awesome music. Lots of memories.

Or was it just another night for them? Are we ever aware how amazing the present moment is? Nancy Wilson played solo acoustic for 3 minutes there. It was a blues/classical/rock recital. Go girls!!🎉 We love y'all!!!💜my husband was fortunate enough to see y'all back in the early 90s
I hate him for that.

I gets easy after a long time doing it honestly
I was just watching the Roy Orbison PBS fundraiser last night. And they noted that he recorded his last two albums in the morning hours because he couldn't control his vibrato later in the day. And Roy had been doing it for quite a while. @@RitaColacoNuminous
Kids... this is pure Rock & Roll at it's Epic core... 2:26
No TRUER WORDS have ever been spoken !!!!!
Agree. Fyi, a kid is a goat. I think you mean 'children'. :)
I don't know what you call your children, but neither me or my human children are animals. God bless.
Plus the badass guitar 🎸 her hair in the wind and then she kicks😊
Nancy is rocking more with that acoustic than most of those hair metal bands.

No they did it just wasn't popular

@@bobzapp658 in a nutshell, it's easy to just bang out chords and strum like you're sawing a log, but when you get into more complex picking patterns, it requires quite a bit of coordination and practice. This and the fact that she wrote this intro puts her in an elite class of guitarists.

Ann's voice is just amazing. She's up there with Freddie Mercury. Viscous voices that are unforgettable.
The gig was great
Awesome! Poor Roger.

So are the Zombies, if you can believe that lol.

I got kicked out of Heart concert out of all the concerts including the names above Yngvie opened for AC/DC at the Garden and that was a blood bath at the end of the night on the floor .

i would give anything to hire a timelord to drop me off at this concert.
+Sophia D. I seen them at this time in 1979 in Milwaukee county stadium
+Sophia D. They are still touring, check into it and see if they have a concert near you. This is when they were in their prime for sure.
intro longer than most songs and worth more than most albums.
Best part of the song
Two of the most talented women in rock-n-roll. Nancy Wilson is a legendary guitarist!
Never mind gender... Two of the most talented... period!
Um, they are women though sir. If they were men we'd say they are men.
@@brokengirl8619 I noticed that
@ Christine LaBeach I agree with you ❤️🌹❤️
true - how about both? two of the most talented women AND two of the most talented artists? 😁they are awesome. if you haven't seen it watch the Kennedy Honors when they perform Stairway to heaven with Bonham's son on the drums.
Ann and Nancy Wilson stole my teenage HEART in the 70s...
Mine too..... I hope they keep it.
That knee strike is a MMA rock and roll Heismann trophy moment !!
Right? Hahaha 💃💯
@@sunshineandstarlight lol How many of us who play , have not closed the door and done that in the mirror when nobody was looking. NOT me. lol
So glad that I was a teen back in the early-mid 70s, wouldn't trade that decade for any of the 21st century.
Youre so lucky i wish i was there...
I think the only thing the 21st century has on the 70's is instant access to music, other than that I would very much like to have been there
got that right!!!!
lol what are you watching and commenting this on... 21st century kicks ass. we have 70's 80's 90's and early 2000's music to pick from. IMCHILLING
Me too.....Was born in 58 and grew up with the 60's and 70s' music....the greatest ever.
No auto tune, no lip sync! Raw power vocalist, raw skillz!!!! No fancy beats headsets, nothing fancy! Just hardcore rock and roll!!!
Butthurt hookup
Thats how its done son. 👍
My Love, The Pleasure Is Mine 😍💞
Ann Wilson has a voice that makes the Angels cry, and Nancy Wilson wakes the Gods with her guitar intro!
Be careful not to dismiss the immense effort she poured into reaching this point where she has it all pinned down.
There is effort there, believe me, that's the talent. But she makes it seem effortless that's the show.
pimpsonparade She’s not called The Voice for nothing
Yep!
Nancy all the way
The wind blowing in her blond hair and her beautiful guitar solo makes this sublime
Nancy "the Guitar" Willson. This is one of the most moving Guitar Intros to a song i ever heard.
Silver Wheels is so awesome... it's such a lovely sweet mellow instrumental before the face melter Crazy on You
I notice a godly connection between Nancy's pre-intro piece and her hair blowing in the wind. That is just too lovely to rewind and watch over and over again. 😍
