- Today I talk about legendary scrip and all of its in game mechanics and uses in Fallout 76! Hopefully you find this video helpful in answering all of your questions regarding how to get legendary scrip and what it's uses are.
EDIT 07/07/2021: Steel Reign Update
The daily vendor cap has been increased from 150 to 300. Additionally, the max player cap for Scrip has been increased from 1,000 to 5,000
NEW Item called legendary core, used to reroll legendary effects on a legendary item
OLD (Pre Steel Reign):
-1000 Scrip Max per character
-150 Scrip Max can be gained through legendary exchange per day per character
Legendary gear bought from the purveyor is scaled to your character's level so I recommend spending as little scrip as possible until level 50.
Some examples of gear the legendary modules are used for:
Solar Armor
Thorn Armor
Secret Service Armor
Plasma Caster
Gauntlet
Gauss Minigun
Gauss Pistol
Gauss Shotgun

HOLY Cow randomly went here first try I GOT THE PIE! I only have 8 luck too dang. It is random too because I’ve tried 100 times at one before.

Poxii with another great video. It's funny how everytime I search for something your videos are the most informative. Random unrelated question. I want to build my camp in a decently traveled area but also a nice view. I was thinking about building at the lighthouse looking tower just northwest of the wayward. If I built there would people still come and visit my shop? I know it's a bit of a walk because of the cliff so just not sure. Thabks
Thanks for the feedback regarding my content! Honestly it is hard to say if people will naturally walk by a camp, but people do like to fast travel to camps, so I would not worry too much about trying to be near a popular area as much!
@@PoxiiPro0 okay thank you. The area I tried to build at was to close to an npc settlement it said. So I chose flatwoods lookout! Built a house on the edge of the high cliff facing the wayward and the farms. So nice.

Would you recommend I save my scripts until level 50 or spend them? I spent all of them yesterday and got no good legendaries but could have just been my luck
@@mathewpist4 I would save them until level 50 or until you are about to max out at 1000. I would try to hover around 900 scrip only spending when youre 900+ until level 50 if that makes sense

Since the game’s release I have twice gotten food from that vending machine, last time was during double XP a couple of weeks ago and the first was a couple of years ago. Still wondering what the point is

I see that the Fallout Mothman update often requires you to acquire 100 scrip per day as part of the challenges. That's a hell of a lot to manage for 5 days in a row, as it has so far. Any other ways to get legendary scrip?
So far main ways to get scrip is exchanging unwanted legendary items in the legendary exchange machine or through daily ops. When you get elder score in daily ops you have a chance of getting a little bit of scrip I believe.

Mine says "this machine is unavailable at this time" and I can't sell her any legendary items. I'm a returning player after almost 2 years, and this is my first time coming back here. I can buy stuff but not sell to the machine for whatever reason, I only have 5 scrip.
What does it mean when it’s says vendor doesn’t have enough legendary scripts
It’s a daily hard cap. So you have to wait until the next day for it to refresh. You are essentially exchanging your gear for some currency but the machine only has a set amount each day to give to you.
I’m a level 20, should I go ahead and get 3* legendary armor or wait till I level up??? Should I settle with level 1? Helpppp
I would wait and focus on good gear once you’re higher level like level 50, as of right now there is now way to level up low level legendary gear so it’s somewhat wasted

What is the best event to get legendary scrip for early levels?
Right now I think doing daily ops is the easiest way to get at least 2 legendary items per run which you can convert into scrip
Daily ops can be difficult, so try doing it with a daily op public team or friends! One wasteland scales all the enemies to you so events and whatnot are not necessarily for lower or higher levels anymore as much.
Events in the forest region of the map will have more tame enemies though so look for events there like Leader of the Pack

You use the legendary modules when you want to craft a legendary weapon that usually cost gold bullion to obtain the plans for
@@PoxiiPro0 I thought you could use them on any weapons you pick up that weren't already legendary
I wish that was the case already but it might be in the future. They are going to be expanding legendary crafting later this year! Right now it is only a select few weapons like the Gauss mini gun or plasma caster

Are you looking at how much scrip is in your inventory? The legendary machine resets its inventory once a day pretty much
@@PoxiiPro0 my scrip is 330, I have several legendary weapons I'd like to trade in. Traveled to 5 train stations and the rusty pick, all machines are at zero scrip.
