Imo, crafting 3 stars legendary weapons dont really worth it. Most minor affixes are not very usefull (except the ones that affect VATS maybe). Im happy crafting 2 stars weapons, it save a lot of modules without much regret.
So say I got explosive on a combat rifle, and didn't want to replace that. If I then roll for another legendary effect will it add on or replace it? Also can you remove legendary effects selectively or does it get rid of all of them?
So let's say there's a legendary effect that I don't like and it's a one-star can I have two other legendary effects that I like can I re-roll the one star one that I don't like and have a different effect and not have it ruin the rest of my legendary effect?
I got 6,000 maxed out on scrips, I just came back after leaving during the release of brotherhood of steal. I don't know what to spend it on. Any suggestions?
Just started a day ago. So on the mission now to go to the first airport after doing my water tests. 🤔 is there a vendor that takes weapons for sale. Rn all i see are 3 vendors that only give me 1 cap per item and max 3 caps for a weapon
That's just how Fallout 76 is with selling stuff silly, I know, but if you want to make a lot of caps selling stuff like Chems are probably your best bet! When it comes to weapons, just scrap them and learn the mods :D
You probably figured out by now, the game tends to reward you more for scrapping weapons and making modifications too your weapons (or crafting new ones) more than it does selling items. Early in the game, money isn't really all that important unless you're being lazy and just trying to buy everything like ammo. Collect, scrap, craft/modify is the way to go for at least the first 40-50 levels.
If i do 3* and only the 3rd star is good if i then reroll the 2 or 1 star option will it only reroll those or it will it reset the weapon to a 1 or 2* legendary and delete the 3rd?

1 tip if ur gonna do a bloodied build buy 1 star armor it saves lots of script till u get something u want like a good heavy gun or rifle

I got a quad double barrel that i want to add a two start to it but im scared of losing the quad.
Very tricky decision if you do like the quad, find another double barrel, and roll the legendaries on that!

What about the cores? Where do you get those from?
