Oh and a few more things: The legendary perk card "Taking one for the team" works if you join a random casual team with another player(s) and go into a solo raid instance. Highly recommended as it increases your damage significantly for a certain duration after shield phase (Strange in numbers works too, if they're mutated). It appears I was wrong about the Bully's 4th star not working. I thought I didn't see a difference there, but it does seem to improve damage output. No matter, you can still kill the boss in one go with the right setup at 3 stars. For reference I used V/40P/Str for my first kills before I got that 4th star - so it was done with a "useless" 1st star.

TBH they patch the first boss they better fix the stability of the final boss because only reason i farm the first boss is i crash 99% of the time on the last boss
I have been playing the pts and this won't work anymore as they have made the inner ring and the guardian himself electrified now so won't be able to do this as of the March update.
Oh so they even made the guardian itself electrified, interesting. I wonder if a hovering method would work, like how people originally did it with the Auto Axe? Gonna have to check it out for myself later!
@prizmere There is still the way of using the 2 power armour frames to stand on but just more of a pain and I'm sure they'll find a way to patch that soon too.

Oh, and by the way that four star you have on your auto wax is going to be near impossible to use because it’s near impossible to target a weak point with an automatic weapon I mean, sometimes they will just run head along onto the mine are good for that. They’ll just run into you at first and so your auto weapon will just hit their head naturally, but it’s kind of impossible to make it happen all the time I don’t know about the auto wax, but the shredder works wonderfully with pin pointers. Most critters have five limbs. They have either an hour, two arms, two legs and a head or four legs and a head and a torso right so the torso is the only limb that pin pointers won’t trigger on so with the shredder you’re just like haphazardly hitting all their limbs that’s why the shredder cripple so well with one gun army like you can take out a mile or Queen‘s legs in a split second and she just falls over and becomes harmless or she dies in like three seconds anyway but Pin pointers works incredibly with the shredder. I played around with it on a bunch of different kinds of critters my main test subjects are always those scavengers because they have such high resistances. They have 3200 damage resist energy, resist and poison resist and 1000 radiation resist and given I’m always in strangler heart so I’m always doing some poison damage. They’re a good test subject because one I can see how much an armor is doing it’s an ant armor on the weapon and the Altstatt is multiplicative results in 75% so currently the shredder is nerved. It’s not subject to string box right at the moment But at the same time the accelerator barrel is currently giving at 12 more damage for attack and it currently seems like it’s attacking a lot faster so the time to kill on one of those high resistance scavengers is still faster in my opinion with the shredder and two perk cards than it is with the chainsaw or the auto wax with just incisor so unless you’re fully building in to the auto wax, the shredder is still demolishing it in time to kill on almost everything but the actual numbers you see are only 16 damage on those high resistance phones right they die in like a split second but it’s still only 16 damage per attack when you put on pin pointers it jumps to 28 damage for attack occasionally you might see a 16 but mostly it’s just a string of 28 that’s like merely doubling the damage Although it does figure out to be just 50% more right the only other one that I found worked with the shredder was fractures so it goes off every time you hit something right at least once usually only once because there’s not time for multiple explosions, the problem is it doesn’t seem to scale with granite deer so you don’t get a bigger AOE and demo extra, doesn’t seem to change the damage so really all it’s good for is 50 extra damage on that attack on that creature you’re hitting pin pointers is better mostly I tested all the rest except things like exterminator. I didn’t test that because who cares if you get extra damage only against box I mean, not really important. Nothing else work though except X executioner as a first star did seem to work and did excessive amount of extra damage like it took the 114 for attack on the paper target up to like 174 for attack on the paper target I did not test it around the map on creatures cause I don’t think it would’ve worked the same way it was working right from the first attack on the paper target but the paper target doesn’t really have a health bar right or resistances orseems like on the shredder and armor is always going to be the better choice unless you need vampires to stay alive

When me and my friend was farming with 3 stars and we got bullies we noticed a damage difference especially in time completion. But didn't use vampire we used anti armor so the damage bump was noticeable from 700 to 800 consistently, but this was weeks ago once we got pounders and went bloody we jumped up to 1700+
Those are always somebody who hasn’t already done it enough times to already have everything has a chance to get through it with what they might’ve already accumulated in the game before the raid, but it should be noted that grounded still take 13% from every type of damage, if if you have Energy damage on the weapon if the keyword when you examine the weapon includes the list includes energy, then been grounded going to take 13% also assuming you have class if you don’t have class freak it’s gonna take a lot more like 50% but if it’s a weapon like the autoracks that has both ballistic and energy, it takes 13% from both of them so you’re double impacted on any weapon that has multiple damage types with the energy keyword so you really can’t have grounded or you need to suppress grounded if you can’t or won’t do that then use flame. It’ll be a little less damage but flame. The flame mod is not affected by grounded. Neither is the poison mat.
Bullet shield, and taking one for the team, a vampire gat plas, and bloodied, heavy hitters, 3 strength and pounders auto axe and he goes down in under 1 min. No doors are necessary. Been doing this for 3 weeks now.
Just came back from a small break, so don't have pounder's available and I'm not that informed of how all 4-star mods work. Experimented with bully's, turns out it doesn't work here. Point of the video is clearing this with 3 stars anyway!

I mean if you’re doing it solo you should take your switch out taking one for the team for the energy absorption card. Everything he does or most of what he does will activate energy absorption save you a lot of stem packs and ammo because you don’t need to be firing a vampire‘s weapon to heal. You just need to fire it every six seconds to keep bullet shield active.
How are you doing 600+ a hit with that? I have basically the same build, except all sluggers at 3, and my auto axe is a trouble shooters with hitmans, and im only doing 300 a hit.
If you want to do over a thousand dmg on the auto axe for the guardian go for Anti armour/heavy hitter/strength and pounders mods on the auto axe you can get up to 1400 to 1600 dmg per hit after a couple seconds of continuous attacks
Glowing meat steak, deathclaw steak, psychobuff. I run this farm bloody with pounders and git 1700-2600 if taking one for the team is active. You can use magazines, bobbleheads, and better melee food to hit 3k but it's overkill with pounders you can run without other buffs. Solo average fight time is 50-53 seconds really comes down to your luck on reflect.
@vincentwilkes1955 going over 3k damage isn't really needed anyways because usually once you get over 3200 his health starts rubber banding like crazy
As others have mentioned, you'll need Heavy Hitter's for that 40% power attack damage as it applies directly to the Auto Axe. Troubleshooter's should be fine for the first star. Third star doesn't matter too much. Certain foods combined with Carnivore (especially Yao Guai Roast as I showed in the video) gives you a massive buff to melee damage as well.
I really need to farm this before it’s patched. I don’t think I’ll be able to though. I’m too behind. Need the troubleshooters a vampire weapon, anti armor for auto ax … dang
Change your auto axe to Anti armor since in the 2nd phase the boss doesn't attack. Also add Pounder 4th star for good damage buff. If AP is an issue rejuvenation is good for AP and HP, or Ranger for more damage.
Only trick here is to have enough sustain to stay alive until his shield is gone and he goes to mobile and enough damage at that point to kill him before you have to retreat into a door because my personal experience is, I have terrible time jumping back up on him a second time I always end up hitting that outer ring Hell half the time if I have to jump down, I push the jump button and go back backwards and end up, not jumping and hitting the ring anyway and fucking up my run. I guess I’m just on coordinated but still better off if you can just kill him in one go.
I also prefer TS over OE for EN06 and the Sheepsquatch but you can't really compare them like you did because OE does not increase damage Resistance, like TS does. OE is damage Mitigation and works differently. That's why it's so meta.
How TF do you get inside the door in time before getting cooked?? I finally was able to take his shield down and took about 35% of so of his health then i tried running to the door but i couldn't fckng find it in time. I tried again and realized theres no fckng way id be able to take some of his health down then find the god damn open door in time! Because of all the pillars my view is obstructed. No offense, my friend, but an armor doesn’t add extra damage either. That’s not what armor does anti armor reduces resistances so the damage you’re already doing, which is exactly the same as it was before. It gets a better outcome doesn’t add damage. It simply makes your damage depending on the creature and how much armor they have a percentage more effective, but you’re right and armor would be better than vampires.
I'm aware, though I didn't consider clarifying that it increases DPS instead of adding damage. Don't remember what my exact wording was in the video, however my whole point was that it increases DPS in the end.
I guess when I was saying those if you’re going to use that autoracks, you might wanna jump on a custom world and test it with pin pointers or or better yet if you can get your hands in the real world on pounders that one ranked up to some four digit numbers really quickly
I do this as a herbivore and get the same damage. Putting Pounder's on your auto axe bumps damage up to over 1600. Carnivore is definitely not required. Edit: To be clear, I have full Sluggers cards and no Twisted Muscles (my character is gun focused normally so I didn't want to hurt that with the serum). Point is, you do not need to be full melee to solo this boss in less than a minute and a half.
Good enough dude I personally feel like any effective power armor. You might be using you like anything above well any of the top-tier sets you know strangler heart T 65 hellcat union any of those are going to give you resistances already fairly high above the dimension return area And I think that people that are worrying so hard about getting 100 junk taken carry around it’s it’s it’s not adding that much to them for the effort they’re putting into it but like you said, I’m not really sure how it’s affecting the diminishing returns. I’m just doing it or whatever good point I mean like suspenders and belt. You already have a belt holding your pants why do you need suspenders butit also can’t hurt except if you need a point in luck, I would swap it out for junk shield in a heartbeat.
If you have the four star, I can’t think what it is called maybe pounders or something the one that works like furious but just keeps going that’s the one you want I mean seriously that’s the one you want on an auto ask probably at all times that one or The poison or fire one although he is supposed to be immune to poison the problem with the other one, the fire one is fire the fire, the flame mods on auto axes and chainsaws are horrible, comparatively poison, and electricity do the same ballistic I mean, assuming you don’t have grounded, electric and poison do the same instant damagenow poison gets that gigantic poison dot but again he is supposed to be immune to poison so you really want electric without grounded and if possible, the science perks
Yeah, that four star doesn’t work because his weak point is the shield and you’re not using it on the shield. The torso is not a weak point fact the shield will do no damage if you could target it anyway once it’s down.
And oh my God, I just gave myself another idea as to what the test I wonder if the shredder activates bullet shield without actually shooting bullets and if pin pointers will treat the shield as a limb because if I remember right, the pounders one doesn’t work at all Viper doesn’t work either not that that would help with the boss but the shredder with Strangler heart putting poison. Every attack does not activate viper. I couldn’t make it work anyway maybe someone else can figure it out, but seems like it should work naturally right viper on the weapon when you attack every attack is putting poison on from the strangler art any kind of attack with strangler art Puts a poison dot on the target, but vipers was not trickling. I was not getting extra damage and I have a feeling it’s the same problem. Tenderizer has that the attacks are coming so close together the server just doesn’t notice every attack resets the poison dot and before the next before the viper can trigger the poison that’s been reset you know what I mean tenderizer does the same thing if you are killing shit with a shredder with tenderizer frequently doesn’t even go off You might see you know 50 damages. They’re all the same no tenderizer if you back off and then hit it again then you’ll see tenderizer. I just personally don’t worry about it. I put tenderizer on all the time because where it matters really is on bosses and you always get staggered or knockback or whatever from bossesbut in my opinion, the best choice for that situation is that founders one that ranks up the damage like furious it literally gets up into the 23 4K range really quickly. It’s hard to see how high it gets cause the numbers are all jumbled together, but it does massive damage.
Since you’re not shooting at him at all, there’s nothing in perception that’s going to help you anyway I mean you’re using. I have a gun not to do damage or to take a shield out. You’re just using a heavy gun to activate bullet shield so that he destroys his shield himself then you’re switching to Malay automatic Bailey weapon to take his health away so there’s absolutely nothing going to help with that process in perception just need maxed out slugger cards and incisor. You don’t even need anything power armor or heavy gun related because you’re heavy gun. The only purpose is to spin it and shoot at something a little bit to activate bullet spot. I mean bullet shield.

Just a little trick; use vault steel for junk shield, its junk that won't drop on death and it weights almost nothing
I use the free vault tec supply crate we get from the store. Doesn't drop or auto scrap and has 100 pieces in it.

You have the 4 star mod Bully with autoaxe. Does it improve melee damage to EN06? What is its 'weak spot'?

Bully absolutely adds dmg on the autoaxe. About 150 extra per hit. The "weak spot" is the head. Pounders 4* mod is king on autoaxe until it's nerfed.

Auto melee weapons' regular attack counts as power attacks. Weird, I know, but it's been like that for a long time.

I haven't heard about this. Where are these certain players going wrong? If the setup is correct, don't forget about important buffs and whatnot.

Kill the mole miners outside get the glowing meat to make glowing meat steak. 100% melee damage buff

@vincentwilkes1955 going over 3k damage isn't really needed anyways because usually once you get over 3200 his health starts rubber banding like crazy
As others have mentioned, you'll need Heavy Hitter's for that 40% power attack damage as it applies directly to the Auto Axe. Troubleshooter's should be fine for the first star. Third star doesn't matter too much.
Certain foods combined with Carnivore (especially Yao Guai Roast as I showed in the video) gives you a massive buff to melee damage as well.

Change from Vampires to Furious you will take him out in 25 secs
Change your auto axe to Anti armor since in the 2nd phase the boss doesn't attack. Also add Pounder 4th star for good damage buff. If AP is an issue rejuvenation is good for AP and HP, or Ranger for more damage.

Only trick here is to have enough sustain to stay alive until his shield is gone and he goes to mobile and enough damage at that point to kill him before you have to retreat into a door because my personal experience is, I have terrible time jumping back up on him a second time I always end up hitting that outer ring Hell half the time if I have to jump down, I push the jump button and go back backwards and end up, not jumping and hitting the ring anyway and fucking up my run. I guess I’m just on coordinated but still better off if you can just kill him in one go.
I also prefer TS over OE for EN06 and the Sheepsquatch but you can't really compare them like you did because OE does not increase damage Resistance, like TS does. OE is damage Mitigation and works differently. That's why it's so meta.
How TF do you get inside the door in time before getting cooked?? I finally was able to take his shield down and took about 35% of so of his health then i tried running to the door but i couldn't fckng find it in time. I tried again and realized theres no fckng way id be able to take some of his health down then find the god damn open door in time! Because of all the pillars my view is obstructed. So fxkng obnoxious.

No offense, my friend, but an armor doesn’t add extra damage either. That’s not what armor does anti armor reduces resistances so the damage you’re already doing, which is exactly the same as it was before. It gets a better outcome doesn’t add damage. It simply makes your damage depending on the creature and how much armor they have a percentage more effective, but you’re right and armor would be better than vampires.
I'm aware, though I didn't consider clarifying that it increases DPS instead of adding damage. Don't remember what my exact wording was in the video, however my whole point was that it increases DPS in the end.
For the guardian you want furious and pounders.
I guess when I was saying those if you’re going to use that autoracks, you might wanna jump on a custom world and test it with pin pointers or or better yet if you can get your hands in the real world on pounders that one ranked up to some four digit numbers really quickly

Carnivore can get +8 strength and +213% melee damage with food buffs. It's not required but much easier.
I do this as a herbivore and get the same damage. Putting Pounder's on your auto axe bumps damage up to over 1600. Carnivore is definitely not required. Edit: To be clear, I have full Sluggers cards and no Twisted Muscles (my character is gun focused normally so I didn't want to hurt that with the serum). Point is, you do not need to be full melee to solo this boss in less than a minute and a half.
Good enough dude I personally feel like any effective power armor. You might be using you like anything above well any of the top-tier sets you know strangler heart T 65 hellcat union any of those are going to give you resistances already fairly high above the dimension return area And I think that people that are worrying so hard about getting 100 junk taken carry around it’s it’s it’s not adding that much to them for the effort they’re putting into it but like you said, I’m not really sure how it’s affecting the diminishing returns. I’m just doing it or whatever good point I mean like suspenders and belt. You already have a belt holding your pants why do you need suspenders butit also can’t hurt except if you need a point in luck, I would swap it out for junk shield in a heartbeat.
If you have the four star, I can’t think what it is called maybe pounders or something the one that works like furious but just keeps going that’s the one you want I mean seriously that’s the one you want on an auto ask probably at all times that one or The poison or fire one although he is supposed to be immune to poison the problem with the other one, the fire one is fire the fire, the flame mods on auto axes and chainsaws are horrible, comparatively poison, and electricity do the same ballistic I mean, assuming you don’t have grounded, electric and poison do the same instant damagenow poison gets that gigantic poison dot but again he is supposed to be immune to poison so you really want electric without grounded and if possible, the science perks
Yeah, that four star doesn’t work because his weak point is the shield and you’re not using it on the shield. The torso is not a weak point fact the shield will do no damage if you could target it anyway once it’s down.

And oh my God, I just gave myself another idea as to what the test I wonder if the shredder activates bullet shield without actually shooting bullets and if pin pointers will treat the shield as a limb because if I remember right, the pounders one doesn’t work at all Viper doesn’t work either not that that would help with the boss but the shredder with Strangler heart putting poison. Every attack does not activate viper. I couldn’t make it work anyway maybe someone else can figure it out, but seems like it should work naturally right viper on the weapon when you attack every attack is putting poison on from the strangler art any kind of attack with strangler art Puts a poison dot on the target, but vipers was not trickling. I was not getting extra damage and I have a feeling it’s the same problem. Tenderizer has that the attacks are coming so close together the server just doesn’t notice every attack resets the poison dot and before the next before the viper can trigger the poison that’s been reset you know what I mean tenderizer does the same thing if you are killing shit with a shredder with tenderizer frequently doesn’t even go off You might see you know 50 damages. They’re all the same no tenderizer if you back off and then hit it again then you’ll see tenderizer. I just personally don’t worry about it. I put tenderizer on all the time because where it matters really is on bosses and you always get staggered or knockback or whatever from bossesbut in my opinion, the best choice for that situation is that founders one that ranks up the damage like furious it literally gets up into the 23 4K range really quickly. It’s hard to see how high it gets cause the numbers are all jumbled together, but it does massive damage.
Since you’re not shooting at him at all, there’s nothing in perception that’s going to help you anyway I mean you’re using. I have a gun not to do damage or to take a shield out. You’re just using a heavy gun to activate bullet shield so that he destroys his shield himself then you’re switching to Malay automatic Bailey weapon to take his health away so there’s absolutely nothing going to help with that process in perception just need maxed out slugger cards and incisor. You don’t even need anything power armor or heavy gun related because you’re heavy gun. The only purpose is to spin it and shoot at something a little bit to activate bullet spot. I mean bullet shield.
It’s way easier with 4 star pounders mod
They should patch out using an auto axe on the 1st boss. You shouldn't be able to stand on it
