The Master Infiltrator is the most useful perk in my opinion, not only does it free up perk slots by not needing lockpick and hacker perks (or save you the hassle of swapping out perks if you need them) but straight off the bat, you have 6 perk cards you can scrap, as you will never need any lockpick or hacker perks again.
Oh .. this was a helpful comment for sure. Im so confused on this right now. Im lvl 58 right now and just realized i don't get anymore SPECIAL rank points.. i was hearing to boost intelligence to 15 right off the bat and basically winged the rest
I get where you're coming from, but as a fresh 50 I feel like Master Infiltrator is the best you can grab early on. It potentially frees up 6 other perk card slots, which is amazing.
You're not being efficient. I have all three unlock perk cards for locks and terminals, but I only make them active when I encounter a terminal or lock I want to open.....which I can go several hours before needing to do it. It only takes me 15 seconds to make them active by swapping them with in by taking out my more commonly used cards....unlock....and then put the cards back to what they were before. It makes zero sense to keep a lock pick card stay in your active stack when you don't need it but for a minute or two every 5 hours of gameplay.

Yup and pair it with super duper and you get boat loads of Ammo since it might trigger getting double at times so that means on top of the 280% you can get right of the bat it could give double as well with super duper since the 280% is already on it before you make the ammo so super duper doubles the already increased ammo count.
All that matters with S.P.E.C.I.A.L. in the legendary perks is that it doesn't matter which 'special' you choose as you can re-arrange those using level ups. It matters to max out Charisma with 'real' points if you want to share that level 5 card (if that's what you want to do of course) . Just to sum up... Apart from Charisma there's no difference in what legendary Special you use it only matters how many of them you use.
What I'm trying to say is the author of this video could have levelled up the Luck special for 50 points instead of maxing out Strength for 150... Save 100 points for now. Then he would have more points to spare on those other legendary perks. Like... I think he missed the fact that those cards on the highest level tend to increase a lot... Ammo factory for example maxed out, gives 150% more ammo. A 50 % jump! Incredible. Anyways, good video ;)
Thinking a point was missed about the Master Infiltrator, it opens up 6 perk points, 3 in intelligence, 3 in perception. You could have literally taken 6 points and put it into whatever special slot, which is far better than picking a special card and you get the +3 +3 right at the start, no leveling up the card. The auto opening is just bonus. Of course this is null and void if you don't care about opening locks and terminals. I personally rarely carried master hacker, lvl 3 terminals are rare compared to lvl 3 locks. But still picked up 5 points which is worth it.
if you are 15 in one special you could also take the corresponding card and then spread the spare point anywhere you want using only one slot in your legendary card. For example you can remove 4 point in agility take the card agility max it up and use the point you had remove to put 3 in strenght and 1 wherever you need it !
so you have 15 Str... and the legendary Str perk is 1 level away from max.... meaning if you max the Str perk you then can move 2 points from STR and put them elsewhere like END

If I install ammo factory, will it override my ammo smith perk and reduce production to match its production limit of 75%, or will it increase production by the percentage listed on the legendary card for instance, perk card is 80% more than base amount, PLUS ammo factory 75% over base for an increase for 155 % over base?

Update is so epic that I believe this will my last time playing it. Liked the game before. Going to do the vault Heist thing. If that's going to give me the same experience as I've had with some other stuff so far it's over for me. Legendary perks with the ammo is like drop of water in the ocean with the amount of bullets I need now. The sneak one gives extra damage, without I think my bullets would work like a stimpack 😂. Don't know why my weapons still say 83, 73 and 193 damage. All was fine before with sneak. Now a lot of enemies are just bullet sponges 🙄
It's strange 🙈. The vault heist and high level enemies seem to be completely fine. Shame that everyone was in state of undress at the place where I had the final talk with AC in the gold operations room and the game just stopped working 🙈. Just weird that some small groups of flies and bugs give me almost the same amount of trouble to kill as a Assaultron or a Glowing one. I believe it still needs some fine tuning before it's epic or legendary 🙈. Back in the Vault and AC and the other's are dressed again 😅. Shame it sees that I got to do some stuff again 🙈. Hope it let's me talk with AC and it goes as easy as before in the reactor room 😊. If it gets the undress thing again I hope Jen spawns without clothes want her as a ally / lover in my camp, sorry Captain Dagaurre 🤭😬

Great guide! Thank you. You could have mentioned that there is also way to get perk coins, once you reach lvl 150 of season score board then you can use that score currency to get extra perk points
I’ve seen like 5 videos of your channel and I have learned more in those 5 videos than I have in like 100 videos of fallout 76 from other people combined. I appreciate all the great content you make. 👍🏼
I love love two perks, well three, I love number 3 for me being exploding plam with the right stata go one punch some ghouls or other squishy enimes, number 2 I love master inflrstor special being lvl 5 Abel to pick any master lock is pretty satisfying letting put other p stats, my number one 1 has to be hands down what rads being able to stay alive much easier even at lvl one it helps. But max lvl combined with team rad build is hole new world!. With perks to match being ghoulish, my vampire melee build Ik workin on right now is pretty neat.
I'm so sorry! I did a bunch of things before I watched this video and I feel terrible!
mans just flexing his pokémon card collection.
can add them for free and take one out is like 1 coin its fine haha. Also, add all single is by far the best start, then imo each to two, three etc if you want best gains. Also ammo factory not needed imo, infiltration is a better passive perk for playing the game. Also spesh ops give soooo much ammo just run that.
Thanks for the point of view though! Always cools seeing what people go for.
And take one for team abit meh. Damage buff doesnt do anything UNTILL they attack you. Fusion core one and power user are just better for your build imo.
The update is a blast! Wish you a lots of fun with it!
Any tips to replace the vats accuracy for commando since they fixed concentrated fire?
What did they do to concentrated fire ?
@@rogeralcantara319 automatic rifles incorrectly got a 20% boost per shot to accuracy... it now correctly applies the 4% per shot accuracy increase... so you are not at 95% after 2 shots anymore
Putting on the biggest scope available kinda evens the gap out, but still feels off especially on supermutants, which have a fairly small(not really) head
Get a gun with +33% Vats Accuracy. It works amazing and I never miss shots.
Doesn't justify giving up a 2525😑
A question, I have ammo smith to craft 80% more ammo than base. If I install ammo factory, will it override my ammo smith perk and reduce production to match its production limit of 75%, or will it increase production by the percentage listed on the legendary card for instance, perk card is 80% more than base amount, PLUS ammo factory 75% over base for an increase for 155 % over base?
They stack together. I am currently crafting like 37 shotgun shells at a time with both equipped. It’s very good “bang for your buck” in terms of supply usage. I just wish we had one of these for chems, too.
Miniguns are def OP but absolutely go through ammo faster than fatties through cake. Ammo factory + Ammosmith is an absolutely MUST for end game.
Love to see you supporting other characters
Thanks and I still have 1 toon to fully equip with legendary perks... and I have a ton of perk card packs... I wish there was a button to instantly scrap a perk card pack instead if having to manually scrap each card xD
Update is epic
No it's legendary
@@hayerenders4576 “bullet sponges”, no idea what game you’re playing, most good weapons can one shot mostly everything
@@jebalitabb8228 used to be like that. I can't remember what level I had then and it was for some enemies like I was shooting stimpacks with my normal Fixer. That was the only thing I had then. I'm most of the time not the luckiest with the legendary thing's I get, if I would have kept them all it would have been the most impressive collection of legendary walking canes and legendary Cryolators and Broadsiders 😂. With the explosive handmade and having leveled up a lot since it's ok now.
The handmade is so far the only thing that works for me. And I still don't one shot a lot of thing's. I don't have the bloody radiated junkie version of fallout.
Just played the game for a year+ now and didnt really pay attention obviously as im now level 187 and for the first time ever noticed the legendary perk section... I always assumed when people refered to legendary perks they just meant fully ranked up cards/tiers.
Let's goooo! Think I'm gonna start from scratch since I know how addicted I get to any Fallout game I jump back into haha! Thanks for the info on these legendary perk cards!
Thanks so much your video helped me understand how the legendary perks work
I would beg to say not to worry about ammo factory unless you can absolutely fit it in your perks and never remove it because you will use maybe once a week. I get that it's beneficial but honestly the amount of times that I would use it, just puts it much lower on the list for me.
would it be more effective to farm perk coins via getting cards that naturally cost more than 1 point? do those give bonus coins?
Alright thanks for showing us how to do this. Very helpful!
Awesome video, played Fallout for so long and its nice to have videos like this for new players to look at! The player base is growing new players faster because if these videos
My favourite perk card is what rads
TY, I finally understood better this legendary perk stuff! :)
Dude thank you for the great content, this helped so much on my choices keep up the great job 👍
I'll definitely be using some the special legendary perks to make my build better. Nice video Lone!
Thank you Lone
If you are a food build get survival shortcut it is so good
i recommends the ammo factory perk card . I make 50 caliber rounds. 360 round caliber per each click.its amazing to have that perk card..
Hey good job dude. Explained the process perfectly 10/10
I’m so glad I watched your vid 🙋♀️😊. I would’ve been completely clueless to all this . I have so man non needed and non used cards. From the beginning of this game I’ve been stuck with . I’m elated to get rid of all of them and get perk points .
Wouldn't it be better to pick a card like life giver when leveling up so you could get more for scrapping it?
Lone Thank you!!! I just start Fallout76 during the free try on Steam and love it but for me to enjoy and be entertained by the game I have to have walkthroughs in some areas and your videos have helped immensely. I need a silo walkthrough do you have one or is there one you could recommend?
Thank's.
Always great explanations ..................
So master Infiltrator saves you 3 perk points on Lockpicking AND 3 perk points on Hacking ? Or am I getting this wrong
I think your right.
Literally everything I needed to know. Thanks Bro.
i recommend getting what rads and ammo factory first
I haven’t played since the update so thank you for posting!
I had a lv 25 charc left from some years ago and I started playing again I got lv 60 last night and I was looking into optimizing my build and before I would make mistakes I desided to look for some info vids,so thanks
Not the biggest mess up but I exidently put a melee lv 3 less deterioration card into a lv 4 and I didn't have enuf space for it annymore so I scrapped it and got 10 points and wasted some lv to get another of the same but lv 2 instead,so now I want to really be careful and get some info first before another potential mess up
I bet players that completed perk card pack challenges back in the day are ballin right now
Frankly, Ammo Factory should be attained and maxed out at the first opportunity. The only other card that will be key to useful with longevity is the one of your powerarmor auto reviving after getting killed.
Everything else is meh. I have plenty of regular perk cards to prevent radiation. I can swipe in my lockpick and terminal cards for a few seconds when the need arises and replace them afterwards, etc. Things exploding after killing them is meh and would get old.
Ammo factory, Super Duper, and there's another regular ammo crafting card get these maxed out.
I'm learning more n more bout fallout 76
i’m rocking all 3 explosive melee perks and the next perk i’m planning to get is legend intelligence for demo expert and more exp gain. the last 2 are for me later on to choose but the ones that come to mind are funky duds and the infiltration one
Lvl 175 Heavy weapons power armor build My perks:Ammo Factory, What rads, PA reboot, and master infiltrator.
Funky works just with a complete set of armor ? So if I carry 4 marine and 1 robot it doesn't work ?
Correct!
I've already been playing but watching now don't you worry!!
Thanks!
Thank you! This really helped me out- subscribed!
quality video. im at lvl 110 and never used legendary perks
I wish I watched you at the start of the game. I got to level 59 and totally messed up my game deleting perks I needed for a build. I deleted the game last night and starting from scratch all my armour and fixers gone 😭
I was always sad because my character was so close to being super powerful these finally gave me the kick I needed to be an ultra god
Does scraping the "Normal Perk Cards" remove them from your other builds?
This is a very useful video for me when I get the game (I know I'm late) and I'll keep saved for later
So if I have say strength at 15 then its pointless to invest in legendary strength
If you had a hard-on for Infiltrator, would you scrap the regular Lockpick/Hacking perk cards?
yes, there's no need for them
corect me if im wrong or just an idiot-
angry turtles last vid on legendary cards said infiltrator is more of a "quality of life?" card cos it just makes it easy to unlock locked terminals and or crates.. i disagree personally i look at it as i save 6 points 3 in int and 3 in agi =?= thats HUGE ? dont understand how a 1-5 str legendary card is S tier but 3 in int and agi is B tier :D hehe
Yes it's a good way to look at it. Angry Tuttle is the man at f76 but it's choice
So if I have a 15 in strength would the legendary strength card benefit me at all? Can it go past 15
Thank god I've only made a few basic under 50 mistakes
For legendary i use for INT for leveling up faster, for getting cards faster to make coints for perk cards :P
Nicely done. Very informative
The special legendary perk cards are awesome
Fantastic video, I really needed this info! The only question Instill have is if I unequip a ranked up card do I still retain the extra ranks if I decide to re-equip it later?
I run special cards and use master infiltrator. I switch out MI for ammo factory when I need it
I had a stack of packs and level ups. I scrapped all cards and started over. Why? Because you don’t get credit for dupes. When I opened the packs, all were not dupes. I ended up with 750 coins. Maxed out take one for the team. Agree on Special cards being better than most other LPs
I love this update
Thank you, very helpful!
You're very welcome!
Isn't better to get 4 stars of the same SPECIAL, and adjust the SPECIAL on the punch machine to fit the 5 levels? I only like one for the team.
Been watching you for a while and it finally hit me, you look like you could be Daniel Riccardo's brother. Great video by the way.
What Rads is godly.
Dont tell anyone, they will nerf it XD. Let it be a sleeper.
First pick.....
No it isn’t, why would you want to lose tons of potential damage by having your health that high?
