@@Jason-Samko they sure had a lot of vehicles being in such a small town I guess I could reach out to them and see what 6’ bed / 4wd they actually have
The reason there are so many is because of issues and they cost to much. On top of that, the back seat has no leg room for an adult. For the same price of that $54K truck you showed with a roof rack, you can go get a 2024 Chevy 1500 4x4 Trail Boss. These Tacomas should be max price at $45K.

If now was the time they’d be throwing insane numbers at us, they won’t even show their cards (reasonable offer). Wait until the ‘25’s are also stacking up on the lot next to the ‘24’s then you have some leverage. I’d say better deals around the Holidays. Wait another 2 months
I drove a 24 yesterday. I love my 2018 Tacoma. I just don’t like the feel of the new ones. The seats are horrible. Just can’t justify spending money on something I don’t really like.
The tundras sell well because they are a MUCH BETTER VALUE for what you pay for. There are Tacomas that cost as much if not MORE than some Tundras.. I used to be a Tacoma fanboy until I drove a 2nd Gen Tundra with the 5.7L. I was like WTF was I thinking. The Tundras offer more room. better handling more power and more cargo capacity for about the same price. You have to be a moron to buy a Taco over a Tundra
They are not selling because the HIGH price and engine/transmissions failure. The manufactures have finally prices midsize trucks out of reach for most people.
Toyota trucks are now junk and I have owned 3x4runnners 1 tacoma and 1 tundra. The only way it doesn’t happen again is if they stop making trucks or go back to quality and naturally aspirated engines.
I’m a Yota guy. 04 TRD OR 5 speed. Not on your life am I buying a 2024. Not even going to discuss the Tundra issues. The new 24 Tacomas have transmission issues Automatic and Manual and I’m not even sure if the recalls have begun. The thing I’ve learned in 2024 (some of it from your own channel) is that Yota absolutely does not stand by their customers, they think they’re above it all. Screw that.
The only thing I really like about the 2024 Tacoma is you can run 285/70/17’s without a lift. But that turbo kills it for me. They are going to have to offer a naturally aspirated option for me to consider it. Sorry not sorry.
I was in the market for the new gen Tacoma until I saw the price of a 23/24 frontier pro. Frontier makes more sense. I’m not the idiots that will over pay
With a degree of serious and a pinch of sarcasm, if you buy a 2024 Tacoma, is Toyota going to throw in two extra transmissions? Price and the transmission is killing sales, in my opinion.
But they stopped making it in the United States and now make it in Mexico that it's 10 times cheaper and cheaper parts who wants that? But the price is not cheap, it's expensive
hmmmm... lets think here. the first year of both the taco and the tundra having turbocharged engines coinciding with a 2x normal surplus=coincidental??? i don't think so, nobody wants the freaking problematic turbocharged engines in the most reliable 2 platform trucks on the road.
yeah how much did you smoke before you tried to sell people bull i have been to Toyota just 2 days ago i told the guy I don't plan to live in the truck i thought i was getting a loan for a mortgage 🤡
24 ranger xl 4x4 & 24 frontier sv 4x4 is offering 3K off msrp ... Toyota need to do 5K off msrp on their SR5 4x4 _ if you are in the market shop around ....
they are over stocked, why would the price go higher in 2025 when the next tacoma comes out? that makes no sense if anything waiting longer would make the dealership more desperate to get rid of them lowering the price even further no?
That was the point of the video. Now until the 24s are gone is the best time to buy one. Once the 24s are gone and the 2025 inventory is here there will be way less tacomas on the lots and less deals avilable due to less supply. If you want a deal buy a 2024 before they are gone.
Screw that! Toyota shot themselves in the foot when they screwed their customer base. The prices are sky high and the got rid of the V6. I’ll keep my 2022 Limited.
Good luck on having toyota dealerships move on the price of the 2024 4runner, if you could even find one. I went to several toyota dealerships and they wouldn't even budge one cent on the price, because they know in about 20 minutes a customer will walk in and pay full price for that 4runner.
Problem is, they give me a trade in value of my 2020 Tacoma for 19.000 and when I check online they are asking 30-35k for 2020 Tacomas. Mine is not a dented up piece of .... you know what Why would I trade in my 2020 for 19k and buy a 2024 for 50k? I can't afford the amount of vaseline I'd need to shake hands on a deal like that

Love your videos, not a knock on you, keep up the great content. I am just done with these truck manufacturers.
@Retnuh1974 agree 100. Priced way to high.
How many of those are the V6 no -turbo? Cause those seem to be the only ones people will buy.
43 k for my 23 Tacoma trade-in TRD off-road with 30,000 MI and lots of cool accessories. 10K off that black TRD off-road and I'll write him a check for the difference 😄
haven’t seen shit for tacoma discounts. same with 2025 tundra. toyota is the only brand not discounting their trucks massively.
Exactly what discounts are possible?
It's not about published discounts. It's about negotiating power from over supply
If now was the time they’d be throwing insane numbers at us, they won’t even show their cards (reasonable offer). Wait until the ‘25’s are also stacking up on the lot next to the ‘24’s then you have some leverage. I’d say better deals around the Holidays. Wait another 2 months
Yep. I meant before the 24s are gone. The 24s are the opportunity
I drove a 24 yesterday. I love my 2018 Tacoma. I just don’t like the feel of the new ones. The seats are horrible. Just can’t justify spending money on something I don’t really like.
Don't trust the quality....
Only Toyota I was ok with paying above normal for was my 2023 4Runner Off Road because the next gen will surely have tons of issues
Tundra would be the way to go..
All these new Toyotas suck. I still have my 3rd gen Taco but recently added a 2024 Tahoe Z71 to the fleet. Not much more than a lot of these new Tacos
even a 2023 and up?
I wouldn't go the tundra route with all the recent engine problems 😢. Too much money to gamble.
Who in the right mind could buy Tundra, when there are the people that are blowing up third engine on their low miles Tundras.
I would not swap even my 2015 Tacoma for one of the 1924 or ‘25’s. Who wants a 4 cylinder with a turbo….no thanks. Franklin can keep it.
A 30% discount will not justify in buying a poor quality Tacoma. Let them riot.
They are not selling because the HIGH price and engine/transmissions failure. The manufactures have finally prices midsize trucks out of reach for most people.
Why not 2025??? Are the going to cut MSRP or cut productions 50% ?
Explained it in the video very clearly for yoy
Haven’t met anyone who wants the turbo 4 taco
Toyota trucks are now junk and I have owned 3x4runnners 1 tacoma and 1 tundra. The only way it doesn’t happen again is if they stop making trucks or go back to quality and naturally aspirated engines.
The mistake Toyota made was getting rid of the normal V6 instead of that turbo crap. Buy a 2023 or a new Nissan
Look forward to your update on the deals that are out there….
@@wlsnwilson will be starting them in about 2 weeks to get everyone ready for the best deals coming
Screw that.
They are junk. Thats real problem
The only thing I really like about the 2024 Tacoma is you can run 285/70/17’s without a lift. But that turbo kills it for me. They are going to have to offer a naturally aspirated option for me to consider it. Sorry not sorry.
There is a reason so many so many are available! I will give them $15,000 for one just to help them out!
I was in the market for the new gen Tacoma until I saw the price of a 23/24 frontier pro. Frontier makes more sense. I’m not the idiots that will over pay
@@dmitriy1316 frontier offers alot of teuck for a great price
With a degree of serious and a pinch of sarcasm, if you buy a 2024 Tacoma, is Toyota going to throw in two extra transmissions? Price and the transmission is killing sales, in my opinion.
But they stopped making it in the United States and now make it in Mexico that it's 10 times cheaper and cheaper parts who wants that? But the price is not cheap, it's expensive
The 23 tscoma was made in the exact same plant in Mexican too
Why he keeps saying he owns a 4Runner
His wife’s vehicle
Because i do. Why else would I say it?
Did you accept the job offer at that dealership before making the video?
The V6 badge is a badge of honor
I always wait until the new year comes to buy an old new car lol
hmmmm... lets think here. the first year of both the taco and the tundra having turbocharged engines coinciding with a 2x normal surplus=coincidental??? i don't think so, nobody wants the freaking problematic turbocharged engines in the most reliable 2 platform trucks on the road.
yeah how much did you smoke before you tried to sell people bull i have been to Toyota just 2 days ago i told the guy I don't plan to live in the truck i thought i was getting a loan for a mortgage 🤡
24 ranger xl 4x4 & 24 frontier sv 4x4 is offering 3K off msrp ... Toyota need to do 5K off msrp on their SR5 4x4 _ if you are in the market shop around ....
My 4Runner has gone up 😅n value
frontier or tacoma.. why is it such a hard devision for me
How about a Gladiator 😊
@@blj_1970 to much money
Frontier, better bang for the buck. V6 vs I4 as well.
@scottminshall6420 great looking truck.
@h3rmzi ahh, what does the Frontier have as msrp? haven't looked
I wouldn't even consider one without knocking $10k off
they are over stocked, why would the price go higher in 2025 when the next tacoma comes out? that makes no sense if anything waiting longer would make the dealership more desperate to get rid of them lowering the price even further no?
That was the point of the video. Now until the 24s are gone is the best time to buy one. Once the 24s are gone and the 2025 inventory is here there will be way less tacomas on the lots and less deals avilable due to less supply. If you want a deal buy a 2024 before they are gone.
@@Jason-Samko oh ok makes sense
Screw that! Toyota shot themselves in the foot when they screwed their customer base. The prices are sky high and the got rid of the V6. I’ll keep my 2022 Limited.
Toyota heald its resale because they were simple, cheap and bulletproof. These new ones are none of that. Complicated, overpriced. Pass
Or do you think it’s because the transmissions are failing and being recalled and nobody is buying that or the Tundra with its own set of issues?
Rows and rows of Tacomas....here's your sign.
Mine is not a dented up piece of .... you know what
Why would I trade in my 2020 for 19k and buy a 2024 for 50k?
I can't afford the amount of vaseline I'd need to shake hands on a deal like that
Typical toyota dealers screwing customers. Looking to make 15k profit on a trade in
The host neglects to mention the high-interest rates which made financing a vehicle prohibitively expensive for most. So it's not just a supply issue. In addition, these trucks are sitting because of their poor craftsmanship out of the gate. Don't get desperate and start buying stuff you don't need.
The new Tacoma can;'t even match the previous generations of the competition, plus reliability, which the previous generation Taco didn't have either, is out the window.
MSRP's are rediculous.
Gah look at the sea of blacks/whites/greys/silvers.
