Inherited one of these from my late father. He drove it very lightly. I have driven it very lightly as well. Last year I noticed transmission fluid on the ground. Truck had 70K on it, ended up the torque converter weld failed. A very expensive repair for a truck that has been driven very lightly. Hood scoops, fancy shocks, big tires are not what makes a truck a truck. Sorry, Not impressed.

I have a titan swapped frontier but i gotta admit i love the Rubicon ive heard bad stories about the motors but i really love the off-road capability of them. Id love to get a Rubicon 392 but its a bit out of my price range.

Just got into a major crash with my 2024 frontier, hit a tree at 45mph head on, I’m still here, tho banged up, broken rib, broken clavicle, and dissection on my artery in my neck but I’m alive

I have had 2 nissan frontier pickups, I bought a new frontier king cab sv 4x4 in 2012 for work, I drove it for 200,000 miles without a single issue other then oil changes and routine maintaince, it was never in the shop for any issue so in 2018, I gave my 2012 to my son , then compared it to the tacoma and couldnt justify the extra 7,000 dollars for the tacoma plus ,I liked mine so much, I bought another king cab 4x4 with the v6, I drove it for 5 years put 220,000 miles on it and like the previous one, other then oil changes it never had a issue or breakdown, I could turn the key and go anywhere without worry, In 2022,I decided on a new pickup again, I looked at what was out there and was offered a good deal on a tacoma 4x4 so ended up buying a tacoma , I have owned it for going on 3 years now and it's been just as reliable as my Nissan frontiers with no issues, I feel like the toyota has a little better suspension overall, and interior is just a little nicer overall, but between the 2 vehicles I feel the frontier is the winner in a price and value comparison. In the future when I buy another new truck in 2 years, I will probably jump back to a Nissan frontier pro 4x and don't feel you can go wrong with either truck.

Crazy greed out there in the auto industry! People spend their hard earned money on vehicles and expect to be taken care of, when a recall comes up. But to have zero resolution or have half assed parts put in, that’s just not fair. And the obnoxious “waiting game”, while people require their vehicles for day to day life.😢 And Jason, you nailed it! When a customer is told that “parts are not available” or on back order… but the manufacturer is making brand new vehicles everyday using those parts!!?? Comical. What about the wrangler 4xE battery situation? Don’t park inside garage and don’t charge the battery…but no resolution for you either!

The Trail Boss might be better but for your money but if have to go with the ZR2. That's one fine looking truck. Love that red color.

I've seen this list before. There are a lot of factors that come into play, particularly driver demographics. Look at the Mustangs and Chargers/Challengers where lead foot buyers don't take the time to learn the cars characteristics and the car gets away from them and they kill themselves. I had a Porsche 928 and had no problem, but knowing my then-wife's driving style I wouldn't let her drive it, keeping it locked when in the garage and keeping the master key with me just in case she might try to take a joyride.

Hi Jason. I know this video was up a year ago however if by chance you get this message, I would love your advice. I’m just wanting to know if I can use my electric 3200 psi 2.5 gallons per minute pressure washer to clean my Trex deck? It’s got lots of dark areas and some lichen on it. It’s older material so I’m not concerned about warranties. I just don’t want to damage it with too much pressure. I was going to use an SH of 2% or 2.5% to clean it. Thank you in advance for the reply. If you do happen to read this.

My jeep has the 2inch mopar lift, 35 inch BFG KO2s, and a 12000 pound winch. I have gotten stuck once but my winch pulled me out. 18 inches of fresh wet snow had bent many, many trees over the steep road. I went over some, around some and under some but there were several large trees at windshield height, so i decided - enough, and tried to turn around. I got stuck cross ways on the steep road, but i used my winch to skid myself in the right direction, locked up the front and rear axles and esaed my self up the road.

I’ll stick with my non turbo V6 ‘22 Frontier king cab 4x4 with a 6ft bed. No frills, just pure four wheel drive reliability and dependability. Not a poser, overpriced mall crawler you can’t haul anything in the tiny bed. Btw, don’t take a new Colorado thru a car wash air blower unless you want your roof caved in. Yes, they’re built that cheap.

I hate push button start. I dropped my GF off at the airport with her car. Stopped at a 711 and found out about the key fob. She has the fob at 2000 feet and I had a running car I couldn't shut off.

That ZR2 is exactly the same as mine. Same color and options. Right now Chevy dealers around the country are offering between $6,000 and $8000 incentives on that vehicle. That makes it approx a $45,000 vehicle. There’s some haters on here probably Toyota fans. But I got to tell you I’ve owned two Tacoma’s and my 2024 ZR2 absolutely blows the Tacoma away. It’s the best midsize truck I’ve owned hands-down. The infotainment system and the technology in this car makes Toyota look like they are still in the Stone Age. And as a final statement, no recalls for this engine which has six years of rock, solid performance behind it (base engine on (Silverado’s base motor since 2018). With Toyota’s current disastrous rollout of the 2024 Tacoma with MANY quality problems and their cheapening of their product I guess you can pay $10,000 more for a less capable Toyota Tacoma TD Pro if you want to be part of the cult but Chevy has passed up Toyota big time.

I disagree agree with the fake experts on the Frontier. They don't know what they are talking about.
