Can I just apologise for how many times I say EEERM! I am trying to stop doing this but being a scouser it’s so hard to get this out of your dialect. Sorry guys. 😂
Hiya bud another great video behind the screw is the transfer port the little brass insert is to restrict the power like you say some have been turned down by the importers so dont have them im mine didn't either i fitted a huma reg to my vixen and tuned the hammer spring its shooting a standard variation of 1 fps i have never owned such a accurate consistent gun also fitted a form grip to mine and completely changed the feel of the gun keep the vids coming bud 😀
Hi dude thanks again for watching & engaging. Thanks for the information on the little brass insert yes I believe it is a power restricter of some kind. I heard a lot of people changing there regulators to Huma from the standard AGT I can honestly say I don’t see any differences between the 2 regs in my opinion dude! I also own a Revere with a huma reg fitted as standard and it’s sublime I’m very lucky to own 2 outstandingly accurate sub 12 guns. Thanks again dude 👌🏻. Denny
Yes maybe a few did slip through the net especially in the earlier guns 2021/2022 I’ve had 2 vixens and never had a single issue dude in my opinion the best air rifle I’ve ever owned I’ve had rapid 7 Titan bare cat Daystate harriers you name it I’ve had it but the Vixen is just something special isn’t it! 👌🏻
It could be a blow disk, so if you over fill the gun the blow disk will give way, but I'm just guessing to be fair, lovely little gun very tempted to get one but to many guns at the moment lol.
Behind the screw is a restrictor bush ,if it's removed it pushes your power to 30 foot pound ,it's called the 5 year screw ,mess with it and get caught you are doing 5 years in a 6x6 cell😅
@crazycressy7986 That's if there are restrictions in the country you live in, I assume. If there aren't any restrictions for power output, could you put a bigger regulator in it? BTW great channel and keep the videos coming.
Ive stuck a HW mod on mine ,tactical sling ,bipod ,and got a theodolite tripod for it sprayed camo ,only other things i need is a dust plug from Ebay and a Houge fat rubber pistol grip as the trigger guard hits the front of my middle finger ,then i need to get my butt over to the cricket field as they are screaming at me to sort out the wabbits lol
That silencer is boss.....unfortunately,ive just brought a AA s510 u s r.....did want a vixen....bought the kit I got secondhand,for a grand.....but all the kit adds up to two and a half....brilliant rifle,but I'm still after a vixen.....have to save me pennies lol
Thanks for watching buddy. The Air Arms s510 is an outstanding rifle mate. If you’re in the financial position to get a Vixen get one dude. Trust me you won’t regret it I’ve owned close to 500 rifles in the last 41 years of air gunning and the Vixen is the best.
Interesting vid, especially if your considering buying one, as for that screw on the side, is there a blow up parts list on the Internet, ( AGT website?) that'll give you the info.. It MAY be some sort of burst disc, which stops you over pressurising the air cylinder / bottle..
Hi Mark, I don’t think it’s anything to do with that? As it’s not near any of the filling components or the bottle etc this part is near the front end of the block? I’m lead to believe it has something to do with power restriction maybe ? Thanks for engaging & watching mate.
Yes its a air restriction port ,there is a video on YT showing a chap removing the brass part with a 3mm threaded bolt and this then it pushes the power to 30 foot pound, i think the ones that come to the UK have not got them but not sure ,@Ratsinthereticles
Hi bud nice informative video just a quick question what compressor did you say you use to fill your gun please as I’ve got the AGT uragan and the 300bar fill is never achieved by my divers bottle very often so thinking on going down the compressor route
Hi dude I have the vevor 4500 ports le compressor I did do a video on it but sadly it was discontinued due to it being recalled apparently they can give you a shock? Mines been fine and vevor haven’t been in touch with me I did email them last month but didn’t hear anything back! You can buy something like them on Amazon mate for arounf £150-£500 depending on brand etc just do some research mate you’ll find a good one! Your wasting your time with a divers bottle for 300bar fill mate.

Thanks for your information 👍🏻
My pleasure thanks for watching mate.
Carl orange is the gunsmith at Vector Air. He tunes the reg mainly. Love my Vixen for Rabbiting, it's a sweet package with a Pard LRF35.
Hi dude I didn’t know that thanks for the info.
