I do not own the Vixen however I do own a Uragan. It is unreal how reliable it is. I design and make for my own use slugs. Both solid, Hp, and fragmenting hp's. Many tholus;hands of shots over the last several years and not one issue at all. Ever! Never have I seen such high quality manufacturing. I have several high end AG's and none, not one comes close! Accuracy with y slugs is average 1/2" at 100 yards. More accurate then my high dollar .22 Lr's. KnifeMaker
Hi thanks for watching yes the build quality on AGT is outstanding and really does stand out from most other manufacturer’s it’s cool you make your own slugs the cz barrels are very slug friendly I believe it’s the twist rate and choked barrel that makes them so good? Great vid mate . Looking at a vixen short or krait .mainly shoot a silent wildcat or a ghost at min . I like short rifles so having to put mod or longer shroud on is now pushing me towatds krait .shouldered krait at shooting show but couldnt find a vixen . Only to come home and see vector air had one . I live in sefton and shoot over farms close by the voice says Merseyside?
Hi thanks a lot for watching my review, commenting & subscribing. There was only a very small AGT stand at the British shooting show by Edgar bros I think it was they had a vixen long! The Krait is an outstanding piece of kit also have CZ barrel the Brocock ghost is just as good I really like them, if your getting a vixen shirt bare in mind they do bark so you will have to put an after market adapter on it or a shroud silencer. Out of all 3 gins mentioned the vixen in my opinion will always be 1st.oh yes I’m a scouser as well from Liverpool.
That Pard scope on your Vixen does it calculate where to hit your target exactly once you put all your information in. And what do they cost for that Pard and what model is your Pard. Thank you.
Hi I don’t bother with all that kind of stuff as all my guns are sub 12 ft. I think what your referring to is ballistics calculator my Pard is quite old now it’s the NV008P and this model of pard I’m not sure has that setting? but the new version of Pard does. There’s so many new day&night scopes available now for arounf the same price as the pard I’m thinking of getting the arken zulus 3x12 version as they also do a 5x25. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi thanks for watching and engaging! In my opinion of over 40 years of owning air rifles there is no such gun a perfect one that’s niggle free! I’ve owned Theobans, Fx,Titan,bsa,Webley etc none of them have been perfect but the Agt Vixen is sublime! If it had the same trigger as the Daystate huntsman revere it would be perfect! I agree with denny here. I've shot air rifles for over 40 yrs too. The hw80 I got as a xmas present in 1982 was a superb rifle. Then I bought a theoben sirocco classic in 1993 which was great but not a "old pair of slippers" feel I got from the 80 if that makes sense. Went the pcp route with a couple of bsa s and finally a hw100k. Superbly accurate rifle but a tad heavy now I'm approaching 60. So I bought a vixen and I love it. Yes louder than my hw100k but not loud, I don't like the lack of a fill port plug but ebay rectified that (come on agt) the small gauge isn't really an issue for me but admittedly it is small. One thing I'd recommend is getting an extended picatinny mount. I got one from ebay which didn't fit so got a sabre tactical one which isn't cheap but is excellent. Overall it is fantastic but not perfect. 9.5 out of 10
Looking hard at one for here in the US in 22 for hunting. Can't decide on the standard or long. Wanting to shoot hades and put my Pard stalker on it. Who makes the aftermarket shroud?

Good review pal, im toying with the idea of getting one, just not sure whether to go 177 or 22 , wondering what yours was like in accuracy:I’ve seen some vids where the 22is accurat when zeros to let’s say 35 mgrs but you go back or forward 10 mars and it drops or rises 3-6 inches the 177 is way less what are you thoughts

Mine is .22 my bro has a .177 I’ll be doing a review on both side by side soon for accuracy etc as far as I know there isn’t anything between them it’s just what you want as an air gunner? Believe me these air rifles are laser accurate and so well built. Thanks again.

Great video lots of stuff that I hear every time I mention the frustrations I have with mine … on Facebook and the forums I don’t see many people that use them ‘standard’… madness that they don’t come threaded for a mod at least … couldn’t hold/shoot off hand without a poi shift so I’ve given in a replaced the shroud guard accurate enough yes but would I buy it again …. Nah…. I’d buy something else … to spend 1300 on one and strip it down and buy better replacement parts that have been made in someone’s shed to improve a professionally designed product that’s in its 3? Variant so it’s usable and they haven’t acknowledged or addressed customers concerns 🤣… anyway good vid 👍 sorry for the rant …. I use power director 365 for editing dead easy product to get your head round

So is the sroud guard touching the barrel sroud when you shoot off hand ? If so this will affect the barrel harmonics ,just had a comment from someone who has just bought one and said his plastic guard does not move ?
Hi dude I highly recommend the shroud for any Vixen mate! Belive me it’s unreal how much it brings the bark down on both long,short 177&.22 respectably.
I.ve had mine 15 months.....think hav a unusual one..as from the tiny bottle am getting 300 shots before power drop off..at 10.9 ftps....we're must only get around 150.ish....
@@roberthowe2910 hi thanks for watching & commenting yes your right the shot count is really good 300bar fill I only got to about 280bar and mine is 11.8 with 15.89gr hades I get around 120 shots then begins to drop off reg but is still as accurate. It all depends on the tune as well a lot of factors come into it like climate as well etc.
Hello,just sub`d. just bought a AGT Vixen 177 long so looking at vids on them,not much out there. Had mine apx 2 weeks,bought new. my findings so far. i have heard the reg on the Vixens is crap, needs replacing with a HUMA. Also read its so good people thing their chrono is wrong. i can honestly say its the latter! on a string of a full mag 16 shots ,i got a spread of 0.1 ftlb and dev of 0ftlb using jsb heavies. my hw100s is no where near that stock and my r10 mk2 blue printed and tuned also nowhere near. 2 comments for something. i found all screws/bolts overly threadlocked.no issue on the shroud and picca rail BUT a nightmare on the cocking lever swap. the large star bolt was not a issue due to size BUT the 2 small screws were near to rounding. i had to heat mine. also you eed to remove the small allen first then the upper larger,small holds the large inplace. the handle needs to be flipped. heating the bolts did nothing, this has 2 large allens,in the end i had to use 2 extensions for leverage,i joke not. The last issue more serious, power! mine is over on jsb heavies by 0.5 ftlb BUT on bisley mags a near constant 13tflb! lats from factory!!!! i really do not want to send it back,i am just now looking on how to adjust for power BUT nothing out there.keep up the good work.look out for my comments.

As for the reg if it was as bad as people are saying you would not get such a good chronograph reading, if your gun is over the legal limit this is down to the shop where you have purchased it from as they should chronograph it using a variety of different weighted pellets as to make sure it’s not going o er the legal limit! Mine is orange mod tuned from vector air it’s like rat works tuned? You can adjust your hammer spring it’s very easy to do there is a video on RUclips showing you how to do it if your confident enough? Failing that you could send it back to the shop or send it rat works for a tune it’s around £125 but better than feeling the wrath of the law ay! The HW 100 is a beast of a gun I do really like them a lot! I’ve had many bsa slingers back in the day but never a pcp they’re just not reliable enough for me and I don’t like the designs of them in this very competitive market. I’m doing the best I can with the equipment I have I’m brand new to all this! Until I can invest in a vlog style camera that cost around £500 and a laptop with editing software another £1000 portrait mode on my iPhone it is!

Take the shroud off and put a Donny FL silencer on it ! I’ve done that.
Great feedback, ive got a short in .177 and love it as does everyone that shoots it. Liked AGT so much i got a Uragan 2. is it better, debatable
