I personally put my mags in a little bag in my pocket I work on a farm and on a sunny day the dust you can see in the rays is crazy and will soon find its way into the mags. That holder looks very childish it's as though your playing army games with a plastic machine gun, I've had a hold of one of these guns it felt amazing just the handle let it down but see you've sorted that issue out. My hw 100 is starting to get on my tits now, cracking gun but to bloody heavy may trade in against a vixon. Good show thanks
I own a hw100k and I bought a vixen for exactly the reason you stated...the weight. I love my hw100 but when I'm hiking around my permission that weight takes its toll. The vixen so far has been a revelation. So light and it just feels right. Just my opinion of course but I'd definitely recommend it
Hello. I have this rifle for the third season and I wouldn't change it. It is incredibly accurate thanks to barrel of CZ Uherský Brod. The rifle is incredibly light and small, it is already very quiet. I have scored over two thousand shots, eventually I set everything on the ammunition of JSB Hades, which are accurate even on the target and very suitable for pests control. Although the barrel is only 25cm long, it is fully usable for 50m. I wish you a lot of experience with Vixen. The only thing annoys me a little and this is a periodic pressure test after 5 years and after 15 years buy a new bottle - fortunately it is far away 😀

I agree with what you say here about the vixen, I have the 177 long. Mine also likes bara 8,,s and qys streamline heavies best. Will get a form grip when funds allow. Can I ask what trigger lock that is? Looks a perfect fit. With qys I got 0 deviation with 16 shots, with 3 mags I got 0.1 dev. Forums are saying the fx pocket chrono I have is no good. Funny because it gives varying results for my HW95 and r10!

I bought a .177 vixen a couple of days ago. I was actually going to look at another rifle at the gunshop, an airmaks katran, but i happened to handle the vixen while i was there and I was sold. After a brief pellet test it seems to like jsb heavies and jsb express but im looking forward to more testing. Love it.

You need the pro mount to fit the pard 008s bud and a riser block otherwise you need to remove the front lense cap like i had 2 have a look on airgun101shop.co.uk thats where i got it from bud

Thank you cant wait to get mine ,apart from the rail being plastic. Is there any reason to change it? I've been getting feedback about it upsetting the POI shooting off hand ? But I've also been told the plastic one does not move ?
The plastic one is ok tbh i solved the poi shift by putting a small black washer behind the shroud and action i mentioned it in my first vixen review buddy

Funny you mentioned the Dreamline, I’m tossing up between the Vixen and Dreamline, I only have the chance to really shoot benchrest where I live, so the FX would be more suited, but damn do I love the look of that Vixen 🤤

@@hunting-with-airgunsUK thought so, i got one fitted to my hw100 with the pard 008p, and plan on getting the zulus to replace the pard, did you use the screws that come with the zulus mount to fit yours 👍
@@davidr4310 am not 100% sure if you need the zb mount that fits the pard s mate thats the one that i got told to buy i would also recommend getting the riser block to lift the scope up of the mount a bit i had to remove the scope cap to fit i had to use different bolts because the zulus ones are to long but with the riser block they might fit hope this helps buddy 😉
Great vid. Don't get why you've only had the gun not even 6 months and spent £90+ to change Reg when it's under warranty and you've probably voided the warranty???
Thanks for your reply i never use the warranty and wanted to fit a huma reg and not another agt one i like to tune and tinker myself thats why i went for the huma reg and 90% off the things that will ever go wrong with a rifle i can probably sort my self 👍
Unfortunately bud, your not really giving an accurate review of this rifle. You keep saying it's absolutely brilliant, so accurate, so reliable etc etc yet you've had to replace/change one of the most important, vital parts of a regulated air rifle. Someone less able than your good self could of had a mini nightmare trying to get this sorted. If you've had to replace the regulator and modify the gun to take a silencer because they are renowned for being quite loud, is it really that good at £1200-£1300.???😮 AGT IMHO should be ashamed of turning out a gun with a massive shroud on it that's about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

It's refreshing someone giving an honest review on what they've done to get the rifle shooting how they expect and want it to. As for FX we all know as you probably do that FX was renowned for issues when the Impact first appeared. Indeed many of the rifles that FX bring out seem to have issues at first as do SOME but not all other manufacturers. As regards your comment regarding silencer's, yes especially PCP rifles need Silencers but most manufacturers include a thread on the end for fitting them unlike the Vixen. Most reviewers would probably agree if out of the box that they'd had to fit a new, different type of regulator to the gun and rely on another company to come up with a way of even fitting a silencer that gun would probably get a few black mark's against it.😊 Enjoy your Vixen or what's left of the original gun😊👍
Nahh it's not cheap but it's buy far not expensive it's a good mid range price gun I'd say, the customisation isn't needed it's like the impact they cost 1700 and you can add thousands in custom parts just my opinion tho

Hi mate the trigger lock is a jack pyke one off amazon and as for the chronograph i use the fx one as well 🤔🤔
