    Really taken with the gun, particularly for the weight and balance. Great group at 50yds. The only pause for thought is resting my head directly on the air tank. I know the risk of catastrophic failure is low given a CF construction has a lot of toughness, but it does make me think about the more traditional design in a different light.

    Had mine just over a week and I love it. Only thing that disappointed me was the lack of a fill port plug, come on agt. But ebay rectified that. As a hunter of over 40 + years i can honestly say its my ultimate rifle. My hw100k is superb but as im approaching 60 i find it a tad heavy which is why i bought the vixen. So far it prefers jsb 8.4grn 4.52s but ive ordered a selection of qys to try. I'll see what happens.

    Brilliant gun possibly the best for hunting you can get, not the easiest bench rest shooter but with a few modifications you can turn it into a serious target tool as well

    Spot on video Kev. Impressive rifle and I have to admit I like the look of it. A few years back I had a Logun S16s, another tactical looking gun, it was absolutely faultless, performed brilliantly and just looked the part. Wish I'd kept it now but went to the more traditional looking rifles. Good to see you back too mate.
    The NV400 scopes I got off you have now had an update and have a ballistic calculator added to the software. Personally I'm not sure how it'll perform sub 12 but it's a feature. Used night vision last night for the first time too, brilliant! 👍🏻

    My dedicated ratter . Not had it long but cracking rifle . Id say a bit expensive and you definitely need a eaglevision mod adapter or one of the carbon shrouds with a mod built in. 5:21

    • @airhunteruk
      @airhunteruk  4 месяца назад +2

      Wow that's a bloody tuff one , I don't know if I'd trade the hw100 but the 110 yes , but ultimately you wouldn't regret getting the vixen , just a question of which you like the look of most!, as all 3 rifles are good, definitely a better shot count and less weight plus 16 shot magazines for the vixen

    • @ROBERTSMITH-io7tb
      @ROBERTSMITH-io7tb 4 месяца назад +2

      If you primarily hunt then these things are unbelievable to shoot from the shoulder and deadly accurate, if you shoot target then the HW's will just be easier to shoot out the Box, the vixen will need some serious stock mods for target work and mod options are very limited with the bottle, bottom line for me is this is a serious hunting tool but for target work or as an all rounder there are better options out the box
