    Congrats on the new rifle. We’re all different and the Vixen wouldn’t be my choice, I do like the Vulcan and Uragan though and I’ve heard impressive comments about those CZ barrels.
    Even if this one isn’t for me your review was so well done and put together I was very impressed, well done Rich.

    Taste is in the eye of the beholder. I'm new to high quality air guns, so I'm no expert. I bought the Vixen 177 Short. I love it. It's accurate and quiet, if you need to pest control without alarming the neighbors. I'm a sucker for cans and this one has the most obvious can out there. Great review, one of the best I've ever seen.

    Been looking at these over here in Spain. A little bit cheaper and we get 24 joules non FAC. Unfortunately renovating my house means a purchase will probably be a few years off but if I had the dosh today this is what I would buy. I like the looks and the weight and AGT guns look stunningly well made.

    Brilliant reviews again Richard at the back of the long shroud you can put a 2” washer at the back with a 16 mill hole and that stops it moving & loosing its inaccuracy when resting it on anything & also if you need to silence it you can go an Eagle Vision silencer adapter for the front I have put one on mine so easy to fit

    I think the Vixen looks awesome, but I get a little "restless" when I look at the 3 small M4 screws. They hold on the back piece where the manometer sits and the bottle screws on. There's a whopping 300 bar pushing on those 3 "tiny" screws.

    you could always pop a foam ear plug in the filler port,squash it down and it should expand to fill the gap,might not look pretty but cheap and effective,and they come in pairs (obviously) so you'll have a spare should you lose the one you use

    Hello Richard,great review I'm going to the British shooting show but can't decide weather to buy the vixen sub 12 or s510 ultimate sporter,what would you say is the best out of the two I'm after.
    I would like to wish you and your family a happy new year.

    • @alphamilitaria2756
      @alphamilitaria2756  Год назад +2

      Hi Jonathan. Thanks very much and a happy new year to you too. The Vixen and S510 are both excellent rifles, but very different - one being light, compact and tactical and the other a traditional sporter style (unless you go for the S510T of course). They are both regulated and very accurate. Things to consider with the Vixen are that it is left-hand cocking and although it is possible to fit a silencer it's a bit of a faff. The huge shroud does make it pretty quiet without a silencer. The S510 will serve up fewer shots, although still well over 100 to a fill. The Vixen is a lot shorter and much lighter too. As I've said before, there's no wrong decision between two great rifles. If you can, try and pick them both up and see which one feels better for you. I don't own an S510, but have shot plenty of them and they are very impressive. I do have a Vixen (the Long model) and I absolutely love it. Sorry I can't be more helpful. All the best, Rich.

    • @alphamilitaria2756
      @alphamilitaria2756  Месяц назад +1

      Hi. I'm glad you found it interesting and thanks for watching. I'm sure you would be able to fit a bigger capacity bottle - The Rat Works offer a tuning service for the AGT Vixen so they might be able to help. Bear in mind though that the bottle is also the stock so fitting a longer bottle will alter the length of pull and overall balance. I'm sure there's a sling mounting method too but I'd need to look at my rifle to be sure and I'm on my hols at the moment! Again, it might be something The Ratworks can help with. ATB, Rich.
