Master of puppets is forever considered the best metal album ever. Peek at anesthesia pulling teeth by Metallica it’s a bass solo one take shows how incredible Cliff Burton was and what he meant to Metallica
The themes this album dealt with seem well beyond the years and experience of 4 longhaired guys in their mid-20's in the 1980's. Definitely the best Metallica album of all time. When Cliff died, I feel like the heart of the band did too. Somewhere there is a universe where Cliff lived and is still touring with Metallica to this very day. The band didn't sell out to get a bigger chunk of radio and TV time in 91. Load got written and burned in a dumpster. St. Anger and an album without a proper bassist wasn't ever dreamed of, let alone made. Can you imagine running that idea by Cliff? Can you imagine the true follow up to Master of Puppets and beyond? That sounds like a great place to be, I sometimes wish I was there instead of here dealing with what this country is becoming. What I, myself am becoming. Older and getting afraid the world may be finally passing me by. It's nice to see a new generation so genuinely excited about music that has been a big part of my life since I was a kid. Gives me hope, these are great videos to watch.
It is their best album in my opinion. Some say Ride The Lighting, but this has incredible lyrical substance and sound quality. It was their pinnacle....

The shock of the first song Battery (and all the classic tracks to follow) was just mind blowing, considering I was listening to mostly hard rock at the time. Changed forever.
Ironic that Kirk Hammet said virtually the exact same thing in an interview about ranking their albums. He ranked this as their best because they were all at the peak of energy and creativity.

Every single number on that album is F**king medicin to Your soul, m8 \''/, :D
I can see that this Reactions thing is a trend now and I enjoy a lot of them.. but I can see you're really listening to the music, and understanding it enough to focus on the lyrics too and never "miss a beat"... As long as you keep the reactions and appreciation genuine, we Metal Heads will always respect that (don't forget to spread the wealth and discoveries) \m/
Like I said WELCOME, GLAD TO HAVE YOU!
Can you react to The Thing That Should Not Be by Metallica
Agreed!!!
Yeahh
It has to be the live in Seatle 1989 version

"Deadhead" by Devin Townsend. Live at the Royal Albert Hall. It will blow you down! You'll be like wait, what? What just happened to me?
One of the best musical performances in human history. This album is legend...👍👍👍👍
"holly shit!!!" first reaction was priceless...that says a lot about this song
Ya, man. You had the same reaction we did in High School in the 80s. Metallica changed everything for all of us little metal heads. :)
Billy, you're not so crazy. Unless we're both-- every song from this album is a classic to be sure.
7:30 you perfectly illustrated how we all felt back in the 80's when we first heard this man~
You're having the exact same reactions I did when I first discovered this album when I was 14 years old. I was a little late to the Metallica party. I didn't really discover them until the Black album. Master of Puppets blew my teenage mind.
It's an 8 minute masterpiece of thrash metal but it's Metallica...….they have a lot of them.
“You won already” lol
Yep, badass song from the BEST metal band of our time. Your musical IQ is very high my friend. Thanks for the vid...
To me this is their best song and your reaction is priceless !
Thank you so much for this album Cliff, get some good sleep.
