Brandon Wiesner that might be true for SOME videos that aren’t too chaotic and edited so abruptly. Every single reaction I’ve seen of spit out the bone the reactor is more focused on the video and the story than the music itself. Videos like the day that never come are very straight forward and aren’t choppy with lots of crazy imagery therefore not detracting from the music

Because it is. Its inspired by an abusive father-son relationship, though its vague enough that it could be almost any relationship. The guy that directed the music video... I dunno... I guess he just really wanted to throw a war theme in there for some reason, and Metallica just went with it... because it doesn't fit at all aside from the extremely broad theme of resentment and forgiveness.

I remember this song when it came out around 2008-ish. I was a junior in high school, and me and my friend would listen to this song a lot on our 16 hour road trip to Colorado to hunt elk that year. Good times.

Billy, love the reactions man! Just to switch things up a bit, you should check out a song called Crionics by Slayer. It's got a phenomenal instrumental part in the second half with some shredding guitars. I think (hope) you'll enjoy it for something a little different from your past suggestions.
BILLY!! You need to try Mercyful Fate, or King Diamond. King Diamond does solo stuff, and he also is the singer of Mercyful Fate. His voice is one of the best in metal. Trust me on this one. The 7th Day Of July 1777 is a good place to start, great story telling and his vocal range will shock you!!!! TRUST ME!!!!

At the Korean War Memorial in D.C. there are 19 statues of soldiers....my grandfather James G. Smith Sr. is Soldier #12...in 97 Clinton gave him a Silver Star for his actions in the Battle of the Bulge in WW2...he was also in the Korean War too...they sculpted his exact likeness too...pretty cool and very proud of him...I have a really cool Luger pistol with a pearl swastika on the handle that he took of an SS Officer

Hey Billy, are you putting some sort of bass booster on the songs in your video? Cause when a kick drum or something with bass hits, all other sounds sound muffled for a moment.
Anywho, like your videos but I can't listen to them on my headphones cause whenever you scream or yell it's sooo much louder than everything else. Consider using a normalizer/compressor on your voice to tame the really high volume areas.
Death Magnetic was really underrated IMO. Only problem I have with it is the production, but it's not that bad. Metallica fans need to give it a chance.
I'm a fan since 1985 at my 15 yo, when I heard Motorbreath and The four horsemen as a couple of songs introducting a new band who is blowing heads in San Francisco... Death Magnetic is a great album. 👍

keep it goin' just hit metallica with your neck brace ready...and listen to "its" followers; im ready to relive what I like about the songs you hear for the first time. It brings it all back. The raw emotion and subjective 1st hearing. I got through college with Master of Puppets Album, got through high school with Ride the Lightening album, and matured with them along the way. BUT, new albums keep me young. So just keep them on your now and then...and I will watch.

If you're a fan of Metallica, I suggest you listen to some songs by Megadeth. The original lead guitar player of Metallica was kicked out & then formed Megadeth so they are musically very similar, but I'd argue that Megadeth is more technical. I'd suggest starting with Holy Wars...the Punishment Due or Peace Sells as good intro songs for their style.
And I know you've done One by Metallica now but you should really rewatch/relisten to it while playing the official music video. Being from the military, I think you'd enjoy it even more...
If videos that use the military/give military facts interest you, you HAVE to react to "Five finger death punch - wrong side of heaven" guaranteed it hits you right in the feels!!
