    The tension from the music as it builds and the perspective from which it was filmed is brilliant. It's unnerving as you feel the uncertainty of a wrong decision could be deadly either way. Incredible video. MetallicA never ceases to break barriers

    You brought up a very salient point about the tension buildup.. do you shoot or do you not shoot? Not shooting may mean you do not get to go home to see your family.. but shooting may wind up killing someone who does not need to be killed.
    The same tension exists basically on the streets of every major city in the USA as of the past 3 months or so. But we won't get into THAT topic.

    I appreciate your thoughtfulness about this situation, I’ve heard people say “at least the soldiers showed mercy on civilians” I’ve been in this situation almost exactly and my soldier went to clear the female until she detonated the bomb under her clothing, my buddy lived but in the hospital he said the last thing he remembered was her foot flying at him. It’s not about having mercy but about never knowing and trying to be as safe and thorough as possible to protect you and your brothers so thank you

    I think the whole message of this video is doing the right thing on a difficult day could see his anger after his friend was more than likely killed but he seen what was right and told his squad to stand down which was the right call didn't let his anger or hate get the better of him.

    I'm digging that you're doing the whole album of songs individually. I think that's a cool concept I don't think I've seen often.

      @@iamzacreact9128 Fade to Black - Moscow 1991 trust me. I don't know why NO reactors react to that version as it is hands down the best one they've performed live that's recorded.

      If you take out St. Anger and the Load albums, their catalogue is super impressive. If they never released those they would have never lost their reputation.
      Just sucks that each album got worse and worse (Load, ReLoad, St Anger) and the time between album releases has grown and grown.
      Only 3 albums in the past 20+ years. Last two were nice though.

    • @adameves5970
      @adameves5970 2 года назад

      When you realize Metallica only has 10 albums and Iron Maiden has 21.
      We sat with the Load/ReLoad/St Anger taste in our mouths for way too long.
      Metallica: 5 albums in the first 10 years. 5 albums in the past 30 years.

    • @adameves5970
      @adameves5970 2 года назад

      They could have just toured with the first 5 albums....forever.
      But, I would suspect the whole Napster thing had a bit to do with releasing studio albums quickly. You don't make money on albums anymore. You make money on concerts mainly.

    As a UN freedom corps soldier who got into 3 wars and lost 7 friends let me tell you one thing i haveve learned :
    The real hero isnt the soldier that shots tons of enemys. The real hero is the soldier who knows when to not hit the trigger of his gun and saves a life!

    If you think this video is hard to watch.... watch “wrong side of Heaven” from Five Finger Death Punch. So many important messages in that song and shows the aftermath of war in a way that has not been shown before. Makes many cry.
