I don't know if it's the mastering or Lars terrible choice in equipment/setup but his snare always sounds like he's hitting an old, metal dustbin lid. It's got no balls at all, especially compared to the guitars.

Toostig It probably is something that not everyone notices. But having been in a band with guys who're music techs aswell, when you compare those drums to this it's a world of difference.
