Heaven is not discussed in the Torah, in order to emphasize the necessity to do what's right because it's right, and not for the reward, or to avoid punishment. - Rabbi Menachem Weiman
That is an interesting insight. I like it. But it makes one wonder where they thought Enoch went when he was caught up or where they thought Isaiah was talking about in Isaiah 40:22, or what Solomon was speaking of when he dedicated the temple. I'm guessing the Rabbi did not mean to say heaven wasn't discussed because it clearly is, but rather that it wasn't the specific reward for those who kept the law. And Christians don't believe that either, we don't believe anyone is able to keep the law, that's the whole point of Jesus.
@@matthayes533 This quote was taken from an AISH article, where the Rabbi gives a Jewish view of Heaven and Hell. Here is another excerpt: "From Jewish tradition, a different viewpoint emerges starting with the fact that there doesn't exist the concept of everlasting damnation and torture. The Almighty's justice is not served by punishing someone forever. Justice means the punishment fits the crime. Since we are finite and our sins are finite, then our punishment or atonement must be finite." The Rabbi said heaven is not discussed in the Torah (First five books of Moses) and he's right. Enoch being taken by God is hardly a discussion on heaven. "24And Enoch walked with God, and he was no longer, for God had taken him." Genesis 5:24 This means the Torah refutes the Christian presuppositions of Heaven, since God never emphasized the necessity to do right on reward of heaven, or fear of hell.
@@waitstill7091 If there is no heaven, where did God take Enoch? We can at least infer that Enoch was removed from Earth and enjoyed a genuinely positive existence elsewhere in God's presence. What is Heaven if not that? To say otherwise is to imply that God killed Enoch for being good. This is not the place for this discussion but I thank you for your wisdom and for sharing the wisdom of this Rabbi. In regards to your comment about hell and the punishment fitting the crime, you are forgetting a key point of crime and punishment. If I lie to you, you can do nothing to me - you have no authority over me, if I lie to my parents they might send me to my room, If I lie to my government or to a judge I might be put in jail. It's the same crime, but the punishment increases based on the level of authority a person has over me. How much greater would the punishment be if I lie to someone who has infinite and perfect authority over me? I wish you well on your journey and pray that God continues to draw you closer to Him. You have the last word, but if you ask a question I will answer out of respect to you.
@@matthayes533 Question: "How much greater would the punishment be if I lie to someone who has infinite and perfect authority over me?" The end of the video gave me chills. What the actual hell. I'm afraid of hell more-so than death also but have been living in a space like purgatory for years. Hell is another realm which is superimposed onto our own due to choices we make which go against our internalized values, and to get out of the flames you have to follow your moral compass through thick or thin no matter how much suffering it causes you. Becoming a Christian is not me changing my lifestyle and stopping sinning, it is me acknowledging my hopeless condition in my sin and saying the only solution is Christ and what he did for me on the Cross.
"Becoming a Christian is not me changing my lifestyle". Wrong. I have no idea where you got that flawed notion but I strongly suggest reading the gospels and read what Jesus Himself said about that.
Jesus said that we need to be born again and that he does not know those that do not do the will of the father. We should live our lives walking with God, part of that means stop sinning. Our desires change to the things that God wants.
We only stop sinning as a result of that trust in our hopeless condition. Our repentance is not work but fruit that works. Faith without works is dead. But works without faith is dead too. We listen to Gods commandments because we hate our sin and love God and want to be like him. Repentance is the fruit of trusting in Jesus. Two sides to the same coin. It’s just important to know that your efforts to run from sin don’t save you. Trusting in God saves you. And that helps you run from sin.

Where is your evidence that this man even existed at all, let alone spontaneously rose from the dead after 3 days, a physically and biologically impossible feat to accomplish. Isn't it a little narcissistic to think that someone did, let alone should have, died so that you could stop fretting about your personal mistakes and you could avoid taking responsibility for your own actions. In what world is it even close to coherent, sane, or just to think that a man, whose existence is dubious anyway, who died in antiquity can magically absolve you and people who think like you of responsibility and consequences for your actions and you and people who think like you can magically transfer your guilt and the consequences of your actions onto this fictional character mentioned in a 3,000 year old book written by barely literate peasents? The idea of "Christ dieing for my sins" is nothing more than shifting the burden abandoning personal responsibility, denying reality, ignoring the truth, and lacking the courage to face the consequences of the actions you took and the decisions you personally made. Thank you for all that you're doing, Jordan. I don't think Hell is a destination after death, but a state of being during life, that leads to a sooner death.
Please think about this and don't be deceived by the devil who would love for you to follow him to death in hell and stay with him there for eternity. Hell, called the lake of fire in the Word of God, is very real and Jesus Christ spoke about it very often. The curse of sin, is death. The very real place of hell (the eternal lake of fire) is why Jesus Christ came into this world to die on the cross. Because of His great love for us, His creation, He died on the cross and shed His blood to pay the penalty for all of our personal sins and rebellion against Him. After His death He descended into Hades, and on the 3rd day He was resurrected from the grave and was seen by His disciples and above 500 others, before His ascension into heaven. Having victory over the grave (the curse of sin), the living Christ is now seated at the right hand of God the Father until He returns to make all of His enemies as footstools for His feet. He died so that all who believe in Him would live, being made a new creature with a new life here on earth, and the promise of life eternal in heaven with Him (born-again by the Spirit into God's family). Do not reject Christ Jesus who loved His enemies so much that He died to save us all from the punishment of Almighty God for our sins and eternal damnation in hell, which is the lake of fire. This life is just but a moment. Eternity is forever. Make the right choice! Jesus Christ PAID it all for us! Knowing that evil exists in this world can be scary because we aren’t sure what or the type of things to come after death. But just as I know how blissful it felt as a child and how things make so much sense when things are good in life, i can’t be too worried of the afterlife because it seems like good prevails no matter what
''You're more likely to die terribly if you live in a manner that brings you to hell''. - Jordan Peterson That quote rings so very true as a consistent truth for people who study history and psychiatry. The Bible even warned about people living by the sword also dying by it. It’s a cosmic truth that people who bathe in evil or soul deteriorating things are corrupted by it and lose everything of value in the process. It leaves you open to all manner of violence and sorrow. It reminds me of Josh Billing’s famous quote. "It is a statistical fact that the wicked work harder to reach hell than the righteous do to enter heaven.”
How he answered and responded to each question with pure honesty and thought makes me want to put that man’s name on a ballet to be a leader of America. Canadian or not. World needs him.

I watch movies. It is getting harder and harder to watch. In order to make a movie happen, the author has to force me to suspend my disbelief. I realized just how dangerous this was a long time ago. I was watching "Pirates of the Caribbean". My second viewing of it with friends for some reason triggered me. Jack and his Sparring partner were walking along the bottom of the ocean with a boat tipped on their head. I was into it. "O that's a good idea". I graduated in Mechanical Engineering. I had to study hydrodynamics. I had to study fluid dynamics. I have a solid background in WHY DO BOATS FLOAT!. I was accepting two characters walking with a boat over their heads with air to the GUNNELS. I had two people smarter than me on the couch. I turned to them and said "Apparently that boat never floated!" "What do you mean!" "Why do boats float?!" They were also taken in. A little tiny thing like that worms its way into your brain and you accept it as true. SMART people accept these things. Only later, maybe, you discover that fallacious concept and get rid of it. It is a slippery thing. But then we have the story of Pinnochio and the Whale. ... And I have to stop and not be so cynical. Somewhere between surviving being eaten by a whale and using an upturned boat as an Air Supply lies a line. WHERE IS THE LINE? I don't have an answer. People can be cruel to an extreme. At the same time, the most evil tyrant can take pity on anyone. How do we balance the perception? Never completely turn off your brain.
Contemplating Fame, Responsibility, and the Abyss In a recent episode of the Lex Fridman podcast, Jordan Peterson engaged in a profound and introspective discussion, touching on themes of death, fame, and the intricate balance of carrying a significant public presence. This conversation, marked by its depth and candor, delved into Peterson's reflections on the impact of fame, the responsibility it brings, and his personal philosophy on life and death. Peterson began by addressing the complexities of fame and its potential to trap individuals in a persona that may diverge from their authentic selves. He likened this to the phenomenon of Elvis becoming an impersonator of himself, raising the question of whether he, Peterson, fears becoming just a caricature of the "famous suit-wearing, brilliant Jordan." Acknowledging this danger, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a circle of critics who keep him grounded and accountable, highlighting the increasing responsibility that comes with influence. The conversation then shifted to the darker aspects of fame, with Peterson admitting that fame undoubtedly has a corrupting influence to some degree. He noted the perils of being surrounded by yes-men and the ease with which one can be led astray when continuously catered to. This path, according to Peterson, can lead to a form of moral and personal perdition, accelerated by the unwavering adulation of followers. Peterson also discussed his approach to dealing with the world's daunting problems, like the looming threat of famine. He confessed to using anger as a motivating force, though he remains aware of its potential to make his tone overly harsh and judgmental, possibly alienating those who might otherwise be receptive to his message. The balance between righteous anger and constructive criticism is a tightrope that he navigates carefully. The discussion took a philosophical turn when Peterson and Fridman delved into Nietzsche's concept of battling monsters and gazing into the abyss. Peterson argued that enduring the gaze of the abyss long enough could reveal light rather than darkness. This belief, he posited, is akin to the psychological interpretation of Christ's journey in the crucifixion narrative - an embodiment of radical acceptance of the worst tragedies and a voluntary descent into hell as a path to redemption. Finally, Peterson reflected on his own contemplation of death, revealing that it has been a constant presence in his mind, shaping his sense of urgency and purpose. He distinguished between the fear of death and the fear of a life leading to a metaphorical hell, suggesting that how one lives might influence the nature of their demise. In conclusion, Peterson's conversation with Lex Fridman offered a rare glimpse into the mind of a thinker constantly grappling with the weight of fame, the responsibility of influence, and the philosophical underpinnings of existence. It was a discourse that spanned the spectrum from the practical implications of public life to the existential considerations of what it means to live, die, and perhaps confront what lies beyond.
3:59 That is not what Nietzsche said. The original quote is "Wer mit Ungeheuern kämpft, mag zusehn, daß er nicht dabei zum Ungeheuer wird." which translates to "He who battles with monsters should take heed not to become a monster himself while doing so.". Les lyrical, but more accurate. Translating it as "battle not" makes it a direct advice not to engage in the battle in the first place. That's quite a significant difference from the actual quote, which doesn't advice to not engage in the battle nor does it state the becoming of a monster as a certainty. Granted, I am missing the larger context of the quote, but it seemed significant enough to point out.
I counted my days as early as 4 years of age. I recall vividly thinking, "ok, I've got how many out of 100 left to live;" Lol to the fact young me presumed making it 100 years. But my great grandpa did make it to 102. His daughter, my blessed grandma who lives a room down from me, is 96 I believe. She doesn’t like to specify, could be higher. However, she has the same mental edge as the woman I knew at 60. I hope I go her way unlike both my grandpas who died with dementia. EVERYDAY when I was 8 I spent hours upon hours worrying of death. Most particularly, Hell. Hell was on my mind perpetually. As was suicide despite the fact I had an absolute lust for life, didn’t have any depressive qualities. Suicide disgusted me, the idea I could end my life instantaneously was damn scary. I didn’t know I had severe OCD at the time. So I was very much in the dark. Violent imagery and existential dread was compulsive. Wait till puberty and sex comes into the mix.

Sadly most people have not read The Bible and have been led astray by false teachers that misquote John 3:16 to make people think you can live however you want and never use the context of the verses (John 3:19) or people get their Biblical knowledge from mega churches that are basically just motivational speakers. The link I put down is further proof which proves who the people that run the world are. They are literal satanist--they worship an entity named lucifer and this name is only found in The Bible. The only religion they are against is Christianity. Throughout The Bible the devil is called the ruler of the world- he rules through the flesh(the sinful ways of the world) and God rules through The Spirit. the devil is called the morning star in The Bible, so is Jesus Christ. I believe this is because their is a false light and true light. illuminati- “illuminate” satan tempted eve with the fruit- then their eyes were open to good and evil- he shed light on what was evil and led humanity astray- he corrupted mankind from the beginning (morning) also on the dollar bill it has the eye emanating light and under the eye in latin it says “new order of the ages”-- it also says “in God we trust”- this is not the true God but the “god of this world” as The Bible states Jesus Christ is the true light. He was from the very beginning and created the New Covenant (morning star) He is the true light because He teaches righteousness and the way to Heaven, while satan deceives and teaches people how to fulfill their sinful desires and paves their way to hell to retaliate against God The verses at the bottom are some of the most important and helpful ways to understand The Gospel and to not be deceived by false teachers. The Gospel is based upon belief, trust, and obedience. Matthew 13 is the parable of the sower, John 14-15 Jesus Christ talks about the spiritual growth that happens to those who trust and rely on Him, Matthew 7:21-7:27 proves that it is not just belief alone, James 4:6-4:7 talks about resisting evil and turning to God, Jeremiah 29:13 says that once you seek God wholeheartedly He will reveal Himself to you

@@jonnyw82 short answer, yes. Although it's simple to accept, it is complicated to understand. Jesus died for our sins and offered that sacrifice to anyone who will accept that sacrifice as the way to heaven. Faith and obedience go hand in hand. If you have righteous faith you will reflect obedience to God's commands. You will not be perfect, but you will be more and more disappointed when you offend God, as your relationship grows in Christ. You will want to be a better person because of Christ. Works is the evidence of your salvation, but it is not the source. If you see your own works as the source of salvation, then this is a prideful offense to the Lord because you are not accepting the true price of your salvation; a price we are NOT capable of paying. From a human perspective that's like someone buying you a house, car, new wardrobe and all your expenses for all of eternity and you offer the change in your pocket as payment.
Since we are finite and our sins are finite, then our punishment or atonement must be finite."
The Rabbi said heaven is not discussed in the Torah (First five books of Moses) and he's right. Enoch being taken by God is hardly a discussion on heaven.
"24And Enoch walked with God, and he was no longer, for God had taken him." Genesis 5:24
This means the Torah refutes the Christian presuppositions of Heaven, since God never emphasized the necessity to do right on reward of heaven, or fear of hell.

We only stop sinning as a result of that trust in our hopeless condition. Our repentance is not work but fruit that works. Faith without works is dead. But works without faith is dead too. From 5:42 to 6:12 was such an intense and honest moment, you can see the pain and exhaustion in his eyes from years of pursuing living rightfully and to one's true potential. God bless this man and give him strength to strike down the dragons, to conquer peace, to live a life worthy of death
God gave him an interesting journey so far. It's going to be exciting how things turn out for him
Most religions and mystics including Buddhism mention Hell or some realm of suffering that makes the suffering on Earth seem like a joy. In mystical states people can see other realities and even listen to the thoughts of others but Hell is something that goes back in time as something seen and actual. Prople who are Atheists should think of it mathematically, there is at least a 50% chance Hell exist (exist or not exist in a binary 50/50 possibility).
@@rejectionistmanifesto8836 Even when you think that way, why take the chance of eternal hell? Even from my Christian perspective, I find it baffling for someone to reject eternal life and would rather be in hell. Even very intelligent individuals say such things and it shows how hardened they are in their hearts.
@@RexNicolaus but that's my point, even 5% is too high to risk Hell yet people keep doing these things when mathematically there is a 10 times higher chance that Hell is real. They still do things most religions agree is wrong.
Hello does anyone here believe in Jesus??
In response to the title of this video, praise God, because everyone should be more afraid of eternal separation from the grace and love of God than physical death. In fact, going to hell is essentially a second and final death…. If you’re reading this and you haven’t already, please repent of your sins and trust in the perfect work and sacrifice of Christ
That is a Great invitation

Really? Where is your evidence that a 3,000 year old rabbi died on a piece of plywood specifically to ease your guilty conscience? Christianity, and all religion, is a scam, through and through. It is a sad pathetic little story people cling to in order to avoid the cold, hard reality of life in the world, a fantasy that serves as a mental escape , with no basis in truth whatsoever.
There is no such thing as "sin". It is all part of the great scam of Christianity, and no one need "repent" of an error they did not cause or a wrong they did not commit. Jesus F-ing Christ, stop preaching and droning on about incoherent nonsense from a 3,000 year old fairytale, grow up, and realize that hell is a fictional place, god is a fictional being, and nothing will be lost if you are separated from a fantasy when you die. Christians have the mindsets of 8 year old children.
Amen

It was my fear of hell that drove me into the arms of Christ, and it was Jesus's perfect love that is casting out my fear. How can I not love the one who willingly suffered so much for me?
Fairy tales. The whole purpose for the invention of Hell is for clergy to keep their sheep in line.
For me it was the complete opposite, it was His love that drew me towards Him. My life before Christ was a living nightmare, it was hell. I never new about His love and compassion, about His peace, His mercy or forgiveness. So when He came and rescued me I was immediately transfixed, amazed and blown away by it. It was the best news I've ever heard, that I was loved and forgiven. Wow, Alelujah, my life has never been the same since then. Now hell and its principalities flees from me, for I am a child of The Almighty God, Amen!
I was an atheist for 16 years. I found myself thinking about Jesus as a normal man. A normal man who loved us so much he thought he could give his life for us. I thought it was so beautiful that I reconverted to Christianity.

It fascinates me how many accidents do not happen. We can focus on the terror of the accidents OR we can notice all the accidents that don't happen. There are so many. I have screwed up driving. I have failed to pay attention to the car ahead of me properly. I have failed to check my blind spot perfectly. I have lost concentration as I made a turn. I managed to NOT get in an accident. poor Stoics miss the most important aspect
When he said he was always reminded of the finitude of life when he was younger but also at this very moment, that struck me because that's similar to my life and I'm just 30. From age of 20 I feel chased by time, and I feel very guilty and ashamed when I have unproductive days. I'm way too conscious about my short life on Earth than I would like to, to the point of obsessively planning too ambitious goals in advance but still worrying execcssively about my future with every step i take. This created so much anxiety and perfectionism resulting in inaction. As a philosopher I think too much abstractly and do too little practically. In the last 12 months i have been thinking a lot about ways to extend human life and i can't seem to let it rest. I desperately want to leave a mark on this Earth before I go but can't figure out how exactly. It's probably not healthy but this is just how i am. I don't understand how people cannot be worried about their purpose on life, all the time. I feel as if I'm cursed.

I’ll give you all a piece of advice before you go down all the wrong directions although step by step is a good idea. Christ died not only for all of our sins but also so afterward he can be within us guide us. The more you go against you “gut” the further you get away from that guidance the direction that God wants to take you in life. If you live your life always seeking knowledge you will never have peace you will always keep learning, there’s no end it’s a continuing circle of which there truly is no end. But the fact is Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Once you come to know him you learn about peace ! You learn about truth! Listen jordan Peterson didn’t just name Jesus for no reason there’s only one group of people that believe Jesus died for our sins and is the only begotten son the prophesied messiah and every other religion has a spin on that. Something people don’t always realise is that knowing the right things and the wrong things to do in life and being able to give people advice using your logic don’t always mean you always do the right things yourself, or you always follow the advice you would have given someone else in the same position, that’s why even this man sometimes falter in his life, he don’t have a Jordan Peterson to advise him and reassure him when he’s finished listening and helping everyone else with their problems. I don't think Hell is a destination after death, but a state of being during life, that leads to a sooner death.
That is exactly the conclusion I have come to.
Underrated comment 🙏🏼
Only BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved! ❤✝

''You're more likely to die terribly if you live in a manner that brings you to hell''. - Jordan Peterson
That quote rings so very true as a consistent truth for people who study history and psychiatry.

Does someone else notice, how subtly the battle between god, and the dark prince of this world goes on during this whole conversation, lex’s attachment to this world through science keeps him on the opposing team
Science points out what is real or not in our reality. If YOUR god's teachings are nonsense, and have nothing to do with facts, than your god doesnt exist. Maybe u misunderatood your god.
Lex seems to be subtlety threatening Dr. Peterson.
I turned to them and said "Apparently that boat never floated!"
"What do you mean!"
"Why do boats float?!"
They were also taken in.
Amen.

Contemplating Fame, Responsibility, and the Abyss
In a recent episode of the Lex Fridman podcast, Jordan Peterson engaged in a profound and introspective discussion, touching on themes of death, fame, and the intricate balance of carrying a significant public presence.
How did you overcome this?
don't be afraid of hell, simply because we are already in it.
We’re not in it for sure
Most people are more scared of hell than death. Thats why christianity is so popular
He never ceases to amaze me. Brilliant yet humble. How rare.
Jordan Peterson already died, he died to self. That’s what makes him special.
'You're not afraid of death, but you're afraid of what follows'
'I don't know if it follows or if it's always here, and I think we're going to find out'
That gave me chills
Old Testament verses (written before the birth of Jesus Christ) that prove He is God(Trinity)
Isaiah 53, Isaiah 42, Daniel 7:13-7:14, Isaiah 41, Isaiah 9, Isaiah 11, Jeremiah 23:5-23:6, Psalm 110
ruclips.net/video/7Eeo-82Eac8/видео.html
the gospel is explained in these verses below
1 Corinthians 6:9-6:11, James 4:6-4:7, Matthew 5-7, Matthew 7:21-7:27, Matthew 13, John 3:19, Jeremiah 29:13
the first set of verses i put from The Old Testament talk about His death on the cross and payment for sins(Isaiah 53), a person who appeared as a “Son of Man” (which is what Jesus Christ calls Himself) who was led to God during judgment and everyone worshipped Him (Daniel 7:13-7:14), psalm 110:1 says “The Lord said to my lord”- meaning there are two separate lords-- David wrote this Psalm; his lord was God The Father because it was during The Old Covenant and “The Lord” is Jesus Christ, Isaiah 42:6 says that Jesus Christ will be a covenant and a light for the gentiles(non jews), all the other verses i put down continue to make it so clear that this is the truth and continue to speak directly about Jesus Christ that it is very obvious.
I believe this is because their is a false light and true light. illuminati- “illuminate”
satan tempted eve with the fruit- then their eyes were open to good and evil- he shed light on what was evil and led humanity astray- he corrupted mankind from the beginning (morning)
also on the dollar bill it has the eye emanating light and under the eye in latin it says “new order of the ages”-- it also says “in God we trust”- this is not the true God but the “god of this world” as The Bible states
Jesus Christ is the true light. He was from the very beginning and created the New Covenant (morning star)
He is the true light because He teaches righteousness and the way to Heaven, while satan deceives and teaches people how to fulfill their sinful desires and paves their way to hell to retaliate against God
The verses at the bottom are some of the most important and helpful ways to understand The Gospel and to not be deceived by false teachers. The Gospel is based upon belief, trust, and obedience. Matthew 13 is the parable of the sower, John 14-15 Jesus Christ talks about the spiritual growth that happens to those who trust and rely on Him, Matthew 7:21-7:27 proves that it is not just belief alone, James 4:6-4:7 talks about resisting evil and turning to God, Jeremiah 29:13 says that once you seek God wholeheartedly He will reveal Himself to you
Heaven is not discussed in the Torah, in order to emphasize the necessity to do what's right because it's right, and not for the reward, or to avoid punishment. - Rabbi Menachem Weiman
No one is going to find out anything, we will all be gone completely forever, no brain no more experience.
@@waitstill7091 wrong Shamayim is the dwelling place of God and other heavenly beings, erets is the home of the living, and sheol is the realm of the dead,
@@lunaastro6226 How does this have anything to do with heaven being discussed in the Torah?
The Rabbi did not say there is no heaven. The point is no one knows. This means Christian presuppositions on the subject are largely unfounded.
“Give me the right words at the right time” and then God let JP speak, and all who listened were made better.
Amen. Thank you for this🙏🏻
I think Peterson is still partially audience captured and monomaniacal in his new full time culture warrior for the Daily Wire. But he's still the man that saved my life.
I think you're spot on. I miss when he focused more on encouraging people to better their lives... He's gone too far down the anti-woke, conservative media rabbit hole for my liking. I think he attracted a lot of people in the first place because he separated himself from politics fairly well despite openly describing himself as a conservative but he's lost touch with that entirely.
I became skeptical in the past few months as well. Sam in the past few years. But that’s not to say I completely disagree with either of them. Maybe we just held them on pedestals.
I don't think so, i think he's practicing what he preaches, he doesn't like what's going on and it's speaking up
I think that’s more so what’s put out there as clips. His podcasts lately have been the same as they ever were. About how good things are and will be
What do you think Peterson is missing in his perspective?
The look on Jordan’s face on the abyss and seeing light.
Wow!
Optimistic nihilism has set me free from many fears. Do the best you can while you are here, dive into the mysteries of the universe, but understand that your little life means nothing, and the universe will carry on when you're gone.
Even MORE terrifying than the fear of hell or death (for many) is the lack of fear for either one.
The reason why people don't fear the severity of hell is because they don't think about it deeply.
The idea of hell as people think is made up. The bible said hell doesnt last forever. Any serious theologycal study says this. Plus hell is for a very specific kind of people. People who are not going to heaven will just die. And thoese who are going to hell, if they dont change their mind they will die. And it is said that in the end god will unified everything to him. Love and mercy will prevale and last forever, not pain and suffering 🙏❤️.
@@xmcddddd what bible are you reading?
@@Joe-tk8bn I've thought about it deeply. A god that would even invent hell, ap place of eternal torture for the beings he created, is a monster.
@@MrRezillo It’s not so much that hell was created. Hell is just the absence of God’s presence. For example, one cannot have darkness without the concept of light, as darkness is the absence of light. Those who choose to reject God and be their own god, or serve other masters, elect to not have God in their life.
"There is no place called hell. Hell is a state of mind we create when we dont walk in the light"

I am also more afraid of hell than death. Thank you God for Jesus making a way for us to not have to go to hell even tho we are broken people. I know I don’t know Jordan Peterson but a lot of people look up to him for inspiration and knowledge so I pray for him. All of us should pray that God will lead him to help people with his intelligence. He will be held more accountable because so many people look up to him so he needs our prayers.
Thank you God for not throwing us all in hell even though you made us. Only way to save us is to send your "son" and have him die on our behalf. Makes sense.
JP embracing the whole of himself with brilliance in self awareness that becomes contagious when you listen to a sincere integration of the shadow 🙏
I absolutely love JP, I resonate so much with his thinking, he is always so spot on.
Lex trying to sound poetic is quite cute and a bit ridiculous
Hell is so terrifying that not even the devil can bear to be there...
Yeah. Thats why it most likely doesnt exist. Why should an all loving God create such a horrible place?
There is something really wrong with christianity.
@@grimlund you can't fathom what all loving means so how can you start to say what is right or not right.?

Not Satan. God him self.
If hell is real then we have an evil God. Period.

If Dr.P hasn't earned his way into Heaven I'm in deep trouble...
Only 1 way and its not through works
You don't earn it, you accept it from Christ.
@@bradengle3491 is that what Christ said?
I was being facetious...
That's an insult to their charity; that's not a payment.
He’s not talking about the biblical hell folks
Depends how you interpret the bible really.
The catholic hell, no. The biblical hell? I think he is, at least in part.
I trust what ur saying Jordan, I pray daily for the salvation of my family...and those I love sooo much.
The only thing everyone is suffering an their one psychological drama. Once you have the control over this there is no more suffering the process to this state is meditation. If you come nearer to the live within you, what we actually are these thoughts look like jokes because your existence is just beautifully.
You won't be in any "hell" Jordan. You have a good heart and that is all that matters. We are all allowed to make mistakes, but a good heart is what matters most. God Bless you.
Everyone goes through their own hell at different times of life as humans and after that death becomes closer and closer

Wow.. 3:55 & onwards really got me tearing up..
But Lex also reminds me of a vampire when he speaks.. I briefly imagined him with sharp teeth and a cloak. *Battle not with monsters, less ye become a monster, & if you gaze into the Abyss, the Abyss also gazes into you.*
That's a good thought.
