I'm so pleased to be able to watch this program on RUclips. I was a Court TV addict until they decided to morph it into a reality channel. Now it appears they realize they lost a loyal fan base and they are attempting to revive that programming. But alas, it's too little too late, because now we have the Law & Crime Network! We can watch these trials at our leisure and play back parts we want to review. Not to mention, we can commensurate with other viewers who enjoy this type of programming. So many thanks Court TV! The disregard you had for your original fan base has provided us with a better alternative :)

There's NO way she's going to be convicted of murder. But I do think she'll be convicted of manslaughter because it's very likely that baby would be alive today had she made different choices. The jury won't just completely let her go...she'll be convicted of the lesser offenses. The aggravated murder charge is ridiculous though. There's just NO proof that she took that baby and maliciously murdered her. She MIGHT have, but there's no way to know that!! Its just SO suspicious and "convenient " that a baby she desperately wanted hidden, ended in a stillbirth?! Really? So what was she going to do if it did CRY out and was ALIVE? I'm feeling pretty certain she still wasnt planning on telling anyone since she didn't cry out in birth. I just DON'T KNOW!! I go back and forth. But I definitely dont think she will get a murder charge!!!

Evan when shown all of the inconsistent statements he won't budge. He's going to catch hell when he gets back to his practice. What I find interesting is that the prosecution and the police assumed an 18 year old girl had a lot of knowledge of what a placenta, umbilical cord, amniotic fluid even are! She probably had no idea what she was looking at after giving birth except for the baby and was probably traumatized about all the things coming out of her. EVERYONE including the prosecution witness are making assumptions based on this girl's testimony. One position is she is not lying and the other position is that she is lying. Neither can prove because only the defendant was there.

All of the evidence about texts, lying to her parents, etc., really doesn’t matter. To me no one has provided enough evidence about a live birth. The whole thing is so sad, the lost little life, a dysfunctional family and a very disturbed young woman. I also hate the way the police interrogated her and how little support her OB provided to her when he knew she didn’t want the child. How about letting her know she could surrender the child no questions asked instead of talking to her about letting her parents know? I am not sure if she would have made a different choice, but still. So infuriating!

Nobody is helping her by lying for her ., she has no accountability for her actions. Of course she is going to say the baby was still born. Why would she wait 2/12 month's to go back to the same doctor to get birth control. She knew the baby was nothing but bones and she knew nobody could prove if the baby was dead or alive at birth. Stop slapping these people on the wrist hold her accountable now, she may have a chance in life to never take another life ever again . Bunch of funky noises squishy noises when coming out baby comes out, wipe the baby off suction suction baby catches a big deep breath, starts getting his or her color and starts crying and screaming louder than any heavy metal band I've ever heard. And even that's not the case my youngest daughter did all that except for she didn't cry much she wailed for 5 minutes and then it was done. Unlike my oldest who seem to think that she was doing a 10 minute led Zeppelin sing along song. LOL but no gurgling.

#1. It seems there is so much time and effort wasted in areas that just aren't relevant to this case. Do we agree? #2. So far I have not seen any REAL evidence or PROOF she murdered the baby viciously or maliciously #3. BUT.... her actions/inactions definitely caused harm to the baby - so I think she should be held accountable in some fashion. You dont get to have sex, create a life, then not face the music. You dont get to just ignore "the problem" because it interferes with your happy little life plan. She's acting like a 5 year old spoiled brat, not an 18 year old adult whom by the way is : old enough to have sex, give birth ALL alone, and bury a body then you are old enough to know you need to take care of your health and your baby's health and do the right thing and face the music. Think about that... THIS SITUATION , is why you raise your kids to be held accountable for their inappropriate actions and not spoil the crap out of your kids or become helicopter parents!!!! They will act like this dumb blond when they are 18 and officially adults!!!! This Skylar girl is exactly the result of BAD PARENTING!
