I love this judge as well. I have been following this case from the beginning. She should rot in jail and I don’t blame Eric’s family for not letting her near those children. She is guilty she knows it and the world knows it. Shame on you for taking your children’s farther from them.

This judge is exceedingly fair & thorough. @@sunnyinaz8825 Well, that makes absolutely no sense to me. For my boys, I could live with a cheating, abusive and crazy wife..but certainly not one trying to kill me.

I agree with the judge about having in person jury selection. It’s a huge handicap not to be able to look someone in the face when asking them questions.
I believe these are appointed by the court. Special defense attorneys who usually work in private practice but are asked sometimes to work on high profile, difficult cases (i.e the last 3 attorneys for Sarah Boone before Owens). One of the reasons her previous attorney withdrew is because she doesn't have anymore money to pay them. She can't steal money from her dead husband in jail.
When the judge said the court is not persuaded. I feel like that pretty much sums up everything that we need to know at this point. I think she is going to be found guilty!
Yeah right, after the first time a. you're out no matter what (kids, marriage, don't care, you're gone) and b. never again accepting anything that's consumable from you.
He probably believed he deeply loved her. His sense of betrayal went so deeply that he was willing to die to teach her a lesson. Also: howd you like to have that Judge for a dad--Or as the wife-!-reading you a bedtime story?
I agree with you. It’s mind boggling. In this case there was a prenatal agreement. So, she knew she wouldn’t get anything. I just don’t get it either, walk away. It’s better than being locked up for the rest of your life.
Great video - but she never wrote a book - she paid a ghost writer - she doesn’t deserve credit for that, even though she does deserve the credit for profiting from her husband’s alleged murder
I absolutely love this judge! I will add, the attorney's for Ms. Richin are excellent! These women are very smart! I am more impressed with them than I was with Skye! They are really on top of every single element pertaining to Kouri's defense! It's going to be quite a trial! I feel the parties are truly meeting in the middle! Kouri does not deserve to be out on bail! I agree with the judge on that one! I am very impressed with both sides and the court!
Being IN a courtoom or even near a defendent, lawyers, and judge is far more intimidated and serious than looking at a screen while wearing pajama bottoms. It's a pain in the bum cheek to have to GO and ATTEND this jury selection time. I hate it. And yet it does help the gravity of situations sink in. Just my experience.
