  • The PPQ SC is s a pistol that packs a big dose of desirable features into a small package. Walther designers headed straight to problem-solver mode with this one, they were serious about addressing common gripes among pistol shooters and concealed carry practitioners.
Chief among the problem-solving features of the PPQ SC is truly ergonomic design. By now, striker-fired pistol fans expect modular grips. Walther delivers, providing an “average” backstrap as well as a thicker one tailored to large hands.

Great review. It's always nice to have a reference point for women looking to conceal carry and I appreciate being able to link to your videos. Thanks.

Love my Walther PPQ SC. For variety, I will switch it out for my Canik TP9 Elite SC or H&K P30SK every once in a while, an they've all been excellent sidearms to carry discrete.
Although I tend to carry my Canik more than others because of the excellent trigger, the Walther is really right up there with stock triggers. I do prefer to carry my H&K when I'm away from home though because of the fantastic LEM trigger. You really have to experience that, it's so difficult to explain.

Own it love it, My vote for best Concealment gun this year. Run the Clinger holster and j4 , that trigger system is stellar . But was not happy with the PPS Rmsc, no go.

i have small hands, so using any doublestack pistol has been problematic. Walther's PPQ has been a godsend to me..lol. fantastic pistol.

Notice at 5:00 she reinstalled the recoil spring backwards? They did a nice edit job there I'm sure to correct it. But overall she did a very nice review.

Only thing I want to know is why can't they just offer the same magazine arrangements with each model? Just do all three magazines for the plain sights, the phos sights, and the tritium sights. Or maybe offer two magazines and an additional pinky extension plate.

Good review. Got mine in April. Love it but my only came with 2 mags, one flush and one extended. I bought a couple of 10 round with the pinky extension from gunmagwarehouse.com. No luck yet on finding additional 15 round mags.

She has L.E. model w 3 mags and phospho metal sights

@@DanTheWolfman She said that she had polymer sights but she also said her gun came with three magazines which tells me that it's the LE version and it has steel sights with glow in the dark paint on the front and rear sights. The rear sight on the LE version of the Walther PPQ M2 SC has to be adjusted with a drift tool and there is no windage screw in the rear sight on the LE version steel rear sight. The LE versions front sight has a screw holding it on the front of the slide.

Reset is to long and the mags are not interchangeable with the standard PPQ, a design team thump in the eye on that one.

Robnting Tie Reset is too long? Compared to what? Have you shot a PPQ or are you basing your opinion on this video? The PPQ has perhaps the shortest reset of any poly striker handgun. Look it up.

@Oz Oz That guy is talking out of his you know what. He is clueless when he says that the reset on any of the PPQ is too long. SMH. Trolls are everywhere these days.

Rent a S&W M&P Shield 380 EZ at your local gun range and thy that out. EZ is the word. A pleasure to fire, soft recoil, light weight and a capacity of 8 rounds. Even the magazine is a snap to load.

What type of ammo were you shooting? Try the Blazer Brass 115 gr FMJ and see if that helps. A heavy round will kick more especially if you shoot + P ammo.

hideous all they did was chop the bottom off it looks unbalanced and not well thought out

Actually they also shortened the barrel and slide.

    • @Moveon10001

Wrong. They made a lot of changes to improve the handling of the gun when shooting it as compared to the regular larger PPQ. Like they lightened up the slide and put in a double spring in the slide to help it shoot better and for people to handle the recoil of the gun. I bet you didn't know that. Do your research and then get your facts straight. The LE version of the PPQ M2 SC has an extended round magazine that allows this gun to shoot like a full-sized PPQ. You can use the 10 round magazines for conceal carry or the 15 round magazine at the range to get all your fingers around the grip perfectly. The grip is textured and it fits into your hand as if they molded your hand into a block of clay and used that as the grip on the gun. The Grip is perfectly designed. I'm not a long time pistol shooter and with the full-sized PPQ, I was able to draw the gun and shoot the 2" bulls-eye in a 17" shoot n c target at 25 yards with my first shot. That was because the PPQ is such an excellent gun with a great trigger. Like I said I don't get to shoot that much and have only been shooting pistols for a few years. So I think it's the gun that allowed me to shoot so well. No way could I do that with another pistol. The gun is well balanced and shoots well.
