It worked! You just saved me me a few hundred $$$'s. In my case, it would rinse but not wash. So this may apply to any case where the washer does spin at some cycles. Thanks!
Good simple video! Bypass all little things like "yes you need to unplug damn thing".Not for total dummies but 3 minutes of watching and I know all what I need to know 😉 res I figure out on the way.
Mine is bypassing rinse and spin cycles and comes to ‘off’ position without that two cycles, any suggestions on what could be causing this problem? Thanks
I have a speed queen commercial washer about 3 years old. Seems to be stuck on spin cycle. It stops when I open lid. I unplugged for awhile hoping something would reset but still the same problem
I'm not a washer mechanic but I'd like to think that the problem in is the control module. Since it's only 3 years old maybe it's still under warranty.

Glad to hear my video helped.
I was clever, changed pump and couplers only to realize it's the dang door switch. Thanks. Fixed

Thanks. This saved me a lot of money... I repaired mine by wrapping a bunch of hair bands around it...

this helped me a lot, thank you for posting
Fixed mine, just wondering how you got a cameraman in the tub ;)...Thanks man!
I just put the camcorder in the tub and propped it so it was pointing towards the lid. I had to edit out the first part of the recording.
Great job.
Thanks Gary.
There's likely a reason for that SAFETY switch!! Replace the entire switch! duh!
I could have, but chose not to. It was an old washer and did not want to by an overpriced switch. But thanks for the duh anyway.
How to fix a old washer that won't stop spinning
BAD IDEA - Unless you don't mind you or a kid losing an arm. Fix or replace the switch.
Thanks Karen
hell yeah man thanks
You are quite welcome! Still a stupid idea!!
thanks man =)
