Bodycam Shows Cops Rushing into Florida Walmart After Deadly Shooting Led to Chaos Among Shoppers

- Bodycam footage shows Florida City police responding to a deadly shooting at a Walmart on July 19. The video shows officers rushing inside the supercenter, filled with panicked shoppers, and locating the shooting victim lying on the floor of a nail salon. Authorities said the victim, 22-year-old Nathaniel Baez, was shot after a heated altercation between two groups of three people led to gunfire. A stray bullet also injured a bystander. The gunman, 25-year-old Steve Lestin, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and attempted felony murder. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks it down.

Hearing that girl praying in tears to have her friend or lover to live, just to be hit with the family grieving for the loss of their brother, dad, and son is just too much for my heart. The trauma that the family had to face is never going to be able to leave, I hope that they will be able to heal. My heart goes out to all who were close to the victim who died. Hope they get the justice they deserve.

I lost my brother in front of me back in 2017. Was my best friend in the world. Still not over it by any means. Everyday i carry an uminaginable pain and empty feeling. There is something sacred about brotherhood. I miss him dearly every day of my life. I pray for this guy and the family.

This was a really hard episode to watch. People grieve in their own ways, but seeing genuine, unfiltered grieving hurts my heart. We've all been there, we all know how it feels to lose someone, but I could never imagine what it would be like to watch someone die or be killed right in front of me...

@jm-bz2uq No, he won't. My dad had an aneurysm in the middle of the night when I was twelve. I heard my mother screaming. I was too small to move him to start cpr. I heard his death rattle. That was 1992 and I still wake up to that memory, that sound, that feeling of helplessness to this very day. And it wasn't even a violent crime death. He's got a hard road ahead of him, and he's in my heart and in my prayers. Stuff like that, at that age, it never goes away. It stays with you till the day you draw your own last breath. I'm praying my own kids aren't in the room when I pass, no matter how peaceful and painless it is.

I've had witnessed a man killed by a gunshot about 50 feet from where I'm standing. I was just 10 yrs old and he's not even my relatives but I was traumatized, even until now that I'm already 48 years old. I hope the minors who've witnessed this is able to recuperate from this scary incident.

The idea of street justice revenge it is better than how it actually works out in reality.
Does the shooter deserve whatever he gets, absolutely. Have you seen how these retaliations work in real life attempts?
1. They often jump the gun and the wrong person gets attacked. A suspect doesn’t actually mean the shooter. But rationality is impaired when rage is present.
2. It’s done sloppy and bystanders get injured/ killed.
