      Photo Extremist same here. Was an 0M10 user with dark room b+w qualification. Got a bridge camera but never got time to learn/understand the settings so always used it on automatic. Been asked to do a wedding so this was super useful. Will definitely be checking out some more videos

      Alyonna Mhae Partosa Kudos for the video content! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you considered - Riddleagan Create Memories Remedy (do a google search)? It is a good one off product for mastering the DSLR camera and creating stunning photos without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work colleague got great results with it.

    I love the way you explain, seriously out of the tutorials i have seen so far, yours is the only one that seems to sink in. I love photography, but i'm not great with the technicallities, and reading big toams is rather confusing at times, and mostly is too much imformation to for me to remember. I learn more by doing, or by seeing others doing. Hopefully this will help with my photography, especially light painting photography as i've been looking for good simple to follow how to vids for ages

    I did not have the time or attention span to watch the never ending instruction video my Canon EOS Rebel T3I came with. I'm not new to photography I have like 5 cameras but my newest addition is more advanced than what I'm used to. Plus I'm switching from Nikon to Canon and its been so over whelming trying to figure it out I literally haven't touched it since I bought it over a year ago. This video taught me more in under 10 minutes than any of the other 50+ videos I have watched over the last year!

      hi there, I am curious how come you prefer the Canon to the Nixon camera, are the Canon cameras better? I am looking into purchasing a good digital camera with these three elements that he talked about and I'm very New to photography and have no idea which one to buy....

    • @frankierolover1
      @frankierolover1 8 лет назад

      +Maria Tumwesigye
      My main issue with my Nikon cameras is the slow shutter speed. I've been told there are several things that factor into that like the size of the memory card. I switched to a 32GB and it helped a little but I just didn't have as much control over it as I would have liked.I don't necessarily know if I prefer Canon over Nikon yet but I just figured having owned 3 or 4 different Nikons all with the same problem it might be the brand. It really depends on what you are going to use it for though. I take a lot of pictures of moving targets like animals and in low light so I need a very fast shutter speed. My parents had an upper mid grade Canon that worked really well. My Canon is more professional and I'm sure as you could tell from my last comment it's a pretty complicated camera (but worth it if you can figure it out!) As of right now I guess I would recommend Canon. Some of the cameras on Amazon have customer review photos and you can kind of see how the cameras work for normal people and not the professional photographers hired by the company to make it look good. That really helped me decide on mine. Hope this helps!

    • @mariatumwesigye7192
      @mariatumwesigye7192 8 лет назад

      +frankierolover1 thank you so much for your comment, yes I think you have a good point because I just want to take really good pictures and not a professional photographer so I think I'll look at some Amazon reviews on the Canon cameras, I think I just need an easy to use good camera. Thanks again and have a lovely day :)

    @PhotoExtremist : totally agreed with the idea. If one was to use manual all the time, the moments might have gone passed while dialling and getting it right. Aperture priority would almost do the trick 85% of the time while I usually shoot manual if want to kill the ambient and hit the subjects with lights. Nice explanation.

    That depends on what the lowest aperture is your lens supports. The lower the number the smaller the light loss is when the light passes through your lens which makes it possible for you to take good pictures at low light conditions. And usually there is much more light loss with zoom lenses because of how they work. PhotoExtremist is using a lens that has a fixed focal lenght (no adjustable zoom) so he can get aperture this low.
    These lenses are very affordable if you really want a low aperture
