If you guys are in iowa their is a public spot in south western part of iowa that doesn't look like anyone touches it in bow hunting. I'm from mn down here working and I noticed this big area on onx maps
Maybe hunt that spot again in November. I remember that spot from last years video. I know hunting from the ground is a big challenge.Good luck. Ohio Mitch.

Throw some milkweed in the air and see what the wind does to it. They are in there because they feel they have the advantage somehow.
That's called "Deer Sense". It's sort of like that 6th sense. Can't see you, wind perfect and you do everything right and still they sense something. Oh yeah... Tool is definitely my go to!!! 🎸

I love y’all’s stuff! I can only hope in the future my channel is as helpful and fun to watch as this one is.
The fact that y’all don’t get a deer every video but are able to teach your fans/fellow hunters something about the hunt makes THP 10x better than every other hunting show. A lot of other hunting videos just make me feel poor. Lol
Shane it's gotten to where I can't hardly watch any other hunting vids, if it's some guy or gal in a heated shooting house on a manicured food plot with 4 "shooter" bucks in it. THP is as real, honest, and informative as any hunting vids can be.
THP and The Hunting Beast are about all I watch now. I'm learning alot watching these guys, whereas with alot of other channels im watching guys hunt over food plots using the most expensive camo and scents lol.
Josef Becker THP is the best. Props to seek one and meat eater though. They are pretty entertaining. I like both of those as well but these guys hunt the way your average Carolina boy can manage.

Amazing coincidence you guys posted this vid the same day I hunted a similar situation. Found an area last year that’s maybe 10 acres of thick CRP so littered with beds it’s impossible to guess which one a buck will use at any given time. I can narrow down which end of the property they will likely be at based on the wind direction but that’s about it. The only trees suitable for tree stands are along the edges, but after busting out several bucks last season, including two real toads while trying to set up in a tree, I realized the best approach was to not worry about all the beds and instead focus on the ones they would likely be near, then work my way to a relative high spot where I could see or hear bucks coming out of the thick before they spotted me. Did it last night on a quick hunt after work. Unfortunately a big boy was already at the open spot before I got there and took off before I could get an arrow on the string.
I became a bigger fan when I found out you guys like Tool.
With hair like that, how could you have any doubt?

@@TheHuntingPublicI know. I do too! It's just that I end up with a bunch of marks, but it doesn't give me guidance with a strategy based on wind. For instance, if we are supposed to be getting a southwest wind, how do we narrow down the best spots for a southwest wind? Or am I looking at this wrong? Do you guys instead just go to the hottest sign, and then position yourselves to try to make it work with the wind? What is your driver?
how far down the road are you parking to hunt these spots close to the road?.. I hunted 35 yards off a road this weekend I parked 200 yards away... the spot always produces deer but there were a lot of people driving the road that evening so no deer showed to the apples I was waiting on

Love the old camo style hat, That was the camo to have back in the day. I recall being a kid and had army surplus hunting clothes and dad had the high dollar camo pattern of your hat from head to toe. hehhee. The old XX75 camo pattern arrows are fun as well. Thanks for sharing, I have not been able to get a deer on video this year so I get it missing the buck in the blackberry bushes. Back to the video, Love seeing the bucks guys. I have yet to see a buck, I think I will have some luck seeing some the next few days or so. But have yet to even see one., Y'all have already been putting some down, so after 35 years hunting, I still have a few things to learn. :)

I Really Enjoy hunts when Zach is behind the bow. I just wish he would grow some facial hair aka Beard to go along with that mane he's sporting. Zach just absolutely knows how to pick apart the terrain find the sign, and find those bucks. That's unreal, but if I hunted for a living I might be able to do that myself, but work doesn't allow me that much time off to dedicate myself to scouting public land or finding new spots, looking for the most active buck sign......ect.
So like a stooge, I keep going to areas where I've had success in past years and so far I've been blessed to fill my freezer every year. Great videos as always THP keep up the good work because all of us are still watching and waiting for that next Big Buck Down!
