    Aaron...you are a credit to hunters, outdoorsmen, and PEOPLE everywhere. Dang sir....you just continue to impress with your maturity, your character, and your devotion to your vocation and craft. Good Lord the world needs more people like you (and your cohorts!). There are SO FEW people who could have handled both parts of this amazing video with the class you demonstrated: you had people acting like savages, and then in an attempt to serve your viewers you let a big buck walk away from danger. And as if that weren't enough, at the very end of the day you let those other bucks walk away to live another day...or hopefully season or two! I can't say enough about what you've brought to public land deer hunters everywhere. Congratulations on all your success. Lord knows you deserve it!!

      I hunt public in Texas. If you see a legal buck and have anything that slightly resembles a shot, you take it. Or you won't kill anything. I generally see 1-2 shooters a year hunting HARD. My dad and brother hunt casually and rarely kill anything. For the record, I don't recall ever loosing an animal.

Guys putting on drives everywhere often times two different groups are putting on a drive pushing straight towards each other. Gets scary sometimes. Not to mention how everybody is using pump action, or lever rifles and shoot 5+ times at whatever moves. The phrase "If it's brown it's down" gets used a lot around here.

    Exactly why I don't gun hunt public land anymore. Other than you being in the line of fire. You had one hell of a day in the woods 11 different buck in one day is a great day in my book. Awesome footage.

    Am I the only yelling at my phone, “shoot shoot, got dang shoot it” omg! Lol 😂 I would had let it out! I understand you guys want the footage of the kill shots and all, but to let a buck walk like that cause you couldn’t get it on video just kills me! Still a nice footage, keep em coming! Get R done THP!

      Buddy. That's not a big buck in Iowa. Aaron did not really want to shoot that buck. If he was a of true magnitude, he would have shot a lot earlier.

    • @kevyher1
      @kevyher1 4 года назад

      William Rickmond I understand that, but sometimes it’s not about getting the footage. If you have the opportunity to take one over a camera angle, I’d say go for it. Just my 2 cent. After all, I felt like it wasn’t something he was going for so no biggie.

    Gun season is the exact reason I quit hunting during that week in Ohio. I had a fella on a drive shoot over my shoulder AFTER I shot my deer. New guy on the drive. I was invited to hunt, didn't know him. Of course, he's to my left under 20 yards and shoots. Percussion from my head to my heels. Didn't know if I had been shot or not. Bowhunted the past 35 years because of negligent hunters.

    Thirty years ago I crossed paths with a guy watching a gas line, we said our hellos and down the gas line I went. One hundred yards away some deer run a little, I’ve got a rag with deer pee around my ankle, twenty minutes and two hundred more yards it becomes light. Then boom,boom,boom I look behind me and I watch the mud and leaves mortaring at me. We had a conversation,but no blows.

    I have been in some situations that I didn't like where there where more hunters then i'd have liked but for a man to knowingly shoot toward a guy in blaze orange that he clearly knows is there to me deserves a good butt chewing if not a butt beating! Here in TN there was an older man who shot and killed his son a few weeks ago for a deer. The kicker is yes he had on orange but it had been too dark to even see for over a half hour not to mention there is an antler restriction in that area where bucks have to have a minimum or 4pts on one antler or an inside spread of 15 inches so if he didn't know a man from a deer he sure didn't know a legal deer. People want to bash him and there where no charges but the man has to live with it for the rest of his days. I know that's going to be torture and his grand kids know he killed their dad. It's so sad and tragic and breaks my heart to no end. Please guys and gals know your target and what is beyond it, no game animal alive is worth a human life!

    Wow. Just wow. He’s aiming right at you! That’s so sad to see such irresponsibility. Here in Utah, we have had 2 instances this year of children being shot while traveling in cars on highways because people who were target shooting nearby didn’t bother having a backstop. One died. Always study what is beyond your target, and what is beyond your backstop.
