Probably. I’m a huge fan of those guys. They are showing that you can enjoy hunting on public land. Don’t need a huge chunk of private land. That’s priceless

Honestly the best part about the kill videos is when they sit down by the deer and explain what actually happened and how it worked is absolutely awesome it gives such a in depth look into how, why, and when to do things

I really liked how much focus was put in shot analysis. When I used to bow hunt, I shot a buck one evening that I would have sworn was perfectly broadside. He was actually slightly quartering to me. Arrow went right behind the shoulder, and he ran off like a double lung hit. Arrow was totally green on the exit. Friend said a total gut shot. I argued that he had to be quartering to and shot was good. We found him that night, around midnight. Post mortem showed one solid lung, back of the second lung, liver, and stomach. The slightest angle changes everything, and people don’t always understand that these days. This video probably helped some people.

I love that shot at the end. The Birds eye shot of all of you hanging out as a group discussing the days hunt. A great depiction of the friendship you all share. You all seem genuinely happy for each others hunting success. I think its rubbing off on the youtube hunting culture. Thank you for setting such a good example for the next generation of hunters coming into this beautiful sport!

Definitely! I bet that’s how it was done centuries ago in a tight nit tribe one of em gets a kill and everyone works together hangs out and talks about the hunt! It’s just salt of the earth people! THP is the essence of the north American hunter!

That buck came in posturing up looking for a fight! When you took the shot I said out loud, you smoked him. The shot looked good from my view. I was thinking like Ted, he looked like he was staggering before the second shot. Congratulations on a great buck.

Heart felt brother. No hunter wants a bad hit nor for him to suffer out. The shot looked like a good hit to me but his tail was up until he turned and the tail went down and quivered which says he’s hurt. It looked like the second shot went into a artery area.

Congrats! When I saw the map with wind direction, and then the actual set up, I said "It's crazy enough that it just might work!" I've been hunting more "just off wind" set ups after watching you guys. You know if you rattle, or grunt they are going to try to get down wind, so your positioning of Herman and the pond, plus that little cedar offering enough cover for you to draw, put the deer in a killable 10 yard pocket. Nice job! Most guys (myself included) would have been in the tree...

I have watched THP videos the past few years and it is time to share how much I enjoy your videos. You show how to HUNT deer, not how to use money to grow and harvest deer. You show how the average person can be successful without loads of property and high-dollar gear. Your videography and comradeship is also top-notch in an industry that so often misses the mark, in my opinion.

I just shot my first deer from the ground yesterday while on Alabama public land. It was also my first public land deer equipped and inspired by yours and Catman's channel. I spooked it walking in but with a good wind I was able to close the distance. Had the quartering to shot as well and got a hair back but mine exited through the back ham. He only went 85 yds and piled up. I got one lung and liver, but the femoral artery is what I think put him down so quick. It was a walking blood trail through the swamp. Thank you for putting out such great content!

Between Zach's NY buck and this one, that's two hunts in a row where the buck runs right toward the camera after the hit. Sweet videography, guys.

Great hunt and a good shot Aaron. Follow up shots are never easy to get off let alone be the man and making contact. Way to keep your cool and wits about you. Good job on your set up. Even without much cover you were definitely in the right place, you the man on this hunt.

I have heard that sound at the beginning of the video many times kind of a sinking feeling sets in for a while.

Don't beat yourself up Warb. No one is perfect. If only every hunter had you and your crews ethics. I go on a marathon of your vids every year at this time.

I took my two 3d targets out today to use as decoys and put smaller antlers on one, set the doe in front of him about 10 yards with a white rag pinned to her butt and needless to say I had some great action with deer tonight going up to her and trying to challenge the buck behind her. Thanks for the great tips guys. Love your videos

A lot of people would come unglued at the sight of a big buck postured up walking straight at them at 20yds! Great hunt, and beautiful video coverage! I can’t imagine how much per pound Greg’s venison will cost 😂. Congratulations to all!
