    Stopped the video just to comment on how good if a job you guys do and to let you know we notice when you listen.. Just the other day I seen someone mention that they wish you would put the date of when you're hunting and I'm about 5 minutes into this video and have already seen that you guys have done that.. So just here to say that we appreciate the little things y'all do to make everything as a whole better

    • @MrChosenmarine
      @MrChosenmarine 5 лет назад

      I've been on a range one time where we had to call a cease fire because a deer walked directly into the shooting lane

  • @timber4896
    @timber4896 5 лет назад +59

    I’m pretty sure everyone would agree that if you didn’t get the shot on Camera it wouldn’t make a difference. Just seeing the work that it took to get the deer is enough. So just shoot the deer even if you can barely see it on camera !!!

      As far as that buck was 35 yards or so away. He would have likely dropped at the sound of the bow seeing how much on edge he was spooky. You would have to aim a little low for him to duck into it and potentially risk a "bad" shot. Right call if you are not confident in the shot. Good job THP on the call.

    We left Nebraska Friday afternoon the 6th after chasing those Mulies for a week. We had hoped to run into you guys while we were there, but we ended up having to come back home a few days early. We had some great encounters and opputunities and had the most epic week. Like you, we asked several land owners for permission to access public through their private property and all but one allowed us to cross. SUPER nice folks in that region. Good luck men!

    Very good video , i like these kind of videos that isn't all about the big buck, you guys did the video the right way, i hate when people get over dramatic on small things. Regards to the shooting range on public lands. Its my opinion that NO range should point towards any other public land. And no long distance ranges should be on public lands, unless that land is specifically for shooting only and has no habitat on it. I'm a member of the South Dakota Wildlife Federation and we help protect public lands and fight to get more for everyone. We are the biggest lobbying group in our state in state government for public lands. Again very good video.

    Where I live in Florida, In certain Wildlife Management Areas, they have small game season going on the same time as general gun deer season, so we had issues with bullets zinging by our heads while sitting in tree stands because people were squirrel hunting. And after I had bullets knocking leaves out of the tree I was sitting in I said I would never go hunting in that management area again! lol. It's kinda nerve-racking having
    whistling lead flying over your head. lol.
