Catman is one of the few hunters that don’t have to have a pile of bait or greenfield to hunt over and kills plenty of deer, also he don’t spend the entire video whispering crap that nobody wants to hear. Catman is a true Deer hunter 👍 Hammer Down Catman
I knew when I saw Catman open a can of Vienna sausages, poured out the juice right under his stand, grabbed one and ate it, all while he was steadily scanning the woods for deer… I had to like and subscribe to this dude’s channel!
What has always worked and killed deer no problem so why change … the guys buying the next new bow every year are just falling victim to the industry… If it killed deer 🦌 🎯 a decade ago why would it be any different ?
y'all need to get Catman and the THP boys to come south the first of the year for a Southern Public Land challenge. see how those fellas do. THP boys have struggled in the past down here. maybe y'all can help them learn how to hunt
@brandonbrown6158 I know Catman is from the south. you're right Aaron did get a nice buck in Ga. but they struggled in MS and Alabama from what I remember
There’s certain acorn trees that deer prefer over others. Every year it’s the same. They will hit certain ones but once the preferred starts to fall they will leave what they have to feed on the preferred. We believe some may be more sweet than others some may be more acidic and bitter. I’ve grown up hunting acorns and have learned to hunt by feed trees and natural browse.
Ive killed a ton of deer with a bow in my life and Ive always bern really good at getting on older deer. I hunt very similar to Garrett but, cat-man is a bit different and does one thing similar to me. He adapts to situations. My man kills and catches anything anywhere he goes after. lol. My man is just a straight expert woodsman. Cat man and Garrett are among a few of you tubers i watch. Its not how they hunt its their attitude open minds that separates them from most of those midwest so called Experts. There is no condescending or ego with their personality.
I watch many RUclips hunting videos, and it doesn’t get much better than the Southern Outdoorsmen and Catman. Thanks to all of you for putting out this very informative content that is so relatable to my hunting in SC.
I used to have time to hunt the way he describes, it was great. Saw lots of does, never nailed down how to get on bucks though... Caught monsters on trail cam but never able to get in the spots without getting busted. Guess that's why they like it. Anyway life happened now i cant go much anymore and i get skunked whenever i do
An SMZ is a Streamside Management Zone. It’s the hardwoods along ditches, creeks and streams that timber companies leave when curing timber to manage erosion control.
There are so many commercials in this video it takes twice as long to watch. I can’t even get through it, which sucks because it seems like there might be good info
We will get that fixed! Seems like the merch and woodsman wire links are currently working but the others are. Thanks for letting us know! Also thanks for watching 👍

I love thp but they really don't want to come down here to hunt twice as hard for deer half the size
As a new hunter this really helps me learn.

That RUclips ceo woman who just died was responsible for that. They doubled the amount of ads, greedy MFers. Doesn't benefit the video creators too!
