The thing is though, it's ability isn't limited to just reverting attacks. GER says that it can revert any action to zero. Not any action against Giorno. ANY action. Oh you raised your power level? No you didn't. Oh you gathered your chakra? No you didn't. Oh you blocked or regenerated from one of my attacks? No you didn't. This changes a lot of fights from a stalemate to a complete massacre.

A thing people often forget about is the innate ability of Gold Experience being turning things into creatures but what they forget is that when that creature is attacked the pain and damage it received is instead transferred to the attacker so if Naruto tries to punch Giorno but hits a frog that Giorno created normally the frog would die instantly but in this circumstance the damage would be reflected onto Naruto and he would die instantly instead
He can turn every atom of his clothing into tiny little bugs microscopic or not and he's basicslly unkillable

Actually no, that's not how that works. The frog dies instantly, but Naruto barely flinches. It's not 'oh he killed the frog so he dies too', its 'he hit the frog with enough force to kill it, so he gets hit by the same amount of force'. Which given the fact he can dole out that force as a PUNCH, he's durable enough to take it too.

Had to be a trippy fight from Giorno's perspective. Diavolo starts going into a monologue about how he's going to do his finishing blow, then starts looking around confused immediately after and doesn't put up a fight. He doesn't even know 100% that Diavolo is taken care of, GER just gives him a "hunch" that it's dealt with.
GER is like the op vision of dodging everything.

I thought characters who could traverse dimensions would be able to escape infinite death loop. But I Would like to point out that Diavolo does not have his abilities during infinite death loop. Which means any character who gets reverted to zero and death looped, would likely not have access to their powers either. And the fact GER can act freely and automatically, even when Giorno is in a place where time has been erased, is the icing on the cake.
I've have only read part 6 through 8 but in the anime for part there is a short frame where Diavolo summons Kc

@@DeeheezNuttos Life giving punch, from what we've seen only slows down his target, as well as make them more sensitive, not cause them damage. So I don't think that would work.

I love how, canonically, if you come up with a wild death scenario for Diavolo, he WILL die from it eventually.
Also, Araki stated that the death loop extends ACROSS UNIVERSES, which means that every death in fiction, DIAVOLO HAS SUFFERED.

I'm seeing a lot of arguments about GER and Saitama here, so I want to settle this.
Canonically speaking, GER would never be able to kill Saitama if they were to ever get into a fight. However, this doesn't mean that they would lose. This would just mean that they are placed into an infinite stalemate until one of them decides, "You know what? Fuck this", gets bored, and just walks away from it all.
In the current chapters of OPM, Saitama has been shown to be capable of going from the surface of the Sun to a distant planet with a literal fart (this isn't a joke, it's actually in the manga,) surviving Gamma Ray bursts, being launched to Io, and can even enter other dimensions because somebody called him bald there.
He can also time travel and literally kick space-time portals away like a football, and obliterate star systems with a single punch.
However, none of this even matters if none of it ever happened, therefore it is an infinite draw. And thus, my reasoning that GER's ability is, in fact, "No, Fuck You"

@@gamingcookie7861 well you know, kids like to play roles as if they are fighting each other and are imagining themselves doing certain moves or replicate ones they have seen. But there are some kids that do not want to lose in the game so whenever you hit them with your attack they say "dodge" implying that they have indeed dodged the imaginary attack. This can make the game really boring since that guy only wants to win and does not care about having fun. Giorno can dodge anything too in the same way that the hypothetical kid does.
To simplify the simplification of GER
Imagine hes like a main character in a game, Something happens and he restarts "to the nearest checkpoint (zero)" Meaning he could restart over and over until he gets the chance to attack,
All while the enemy is realises that he is 'reseting"

The idea of GER forcing stalemates would technically mean that no one would be able to hurt him or his organization (cuz he’s the boss now), and because Giorno (probably) doesn’t want to “crush all that oppose me” like diavolo, him and his then-opponent would have to come to some agreement or something (this makes more sense when you think of “Giorno and his Mafia VS the opponent” like a “giant monopoly VS a small business”)
I'm tired of dealing with so many people who don't understand anything. Did you really get that GOLDEN WIND ending? GER NEVER killed diavolo but he died BECAUSE of GER's power, GER just changed diavolo's actions so destiny and reality so he died from the guy who murdered him, but then he gave up it died from zero and created a new "death scenario" to make it die endlessly in every way possible, impossible and that permanently and without limit. It's even said in the manga: anyone struck by this power HAVE to die without stopping an infinite number of times. You see what i means GER don't even need to kill his ennemis because they are OBLIGATE to die.

Another factor to consider is the GER can move as it RTZ's Meaning you could hit any character as they are returning to zero, so technically when a character has been returned to zero, they will take the damage that was done while reverting and possibly bleed out or this keeps happening until the opponent dies
I just realized that part 5 could have just been one of the infinite times diavilo died
What comes first? The chicken, or the egg? In a similar line of thought, you could theorize that the entire arc of part 5 is just the leadup to one of an infinite number of deaths that diavolo experiences. But, you could also argue that diavolo would not experience the infinite deaths UNLESS part 5 went exactly as it did. We call this the "Requiem Paradox"

Two things.
First - I feel like a significant part of GER's power, not mentioned here, is the mind-bending confusion that anyone under its effects would be subjected to. For instance, obviously the ability stopped Diavolo from doing anything to harm Giorno, but he also failed to react to it altogether because of how it shattered his reality.
Second - Have the rules of the death loop ever been officially explained?
It is already explained.. Golden Experience is able to already mess and break the perception of time and some parts of reality by punching something or someone directly. (etc, speeding up the perception of time by a conscious sentient being, And generally turning objects into living creatures)
Now as GER, it literally doesn't need to touch or do an action for it to occur. It probably just needs to be brought out by Giorno for it to be able to act and mess with time, space and reality.
And if GER punches something, it can literally break that object or sentient being's causality now, which in turn fucks with his time, space and reality completely.
Which is why the death loops happen. Because if the causality of everything about you, how you came to be and your actions are now 'broken' or in this case uncertain, broken and/or moot. It makes sense for Diavolo to infinitely experience random events of death in many different circumstances and as different people as his entire personal reality(who he thinks he is. I've always wondered what would happen if Tusk act 4 and GER fought
Tusk through the use of the golden ratio spin can produce infinite energy, while GER should be able to reduce everything to 0
So the idea would be how GER's reduction works, let's say Diavolo's punch is a 10 in power, when GER reduced it to 0 did it do 10-10=0 or did he do 10-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1=0?
Because there's a big difference between reducing in 1 gigantic step or reducing through a potentially infinite number of fairly small steps
If The first is the case then GER wins vs Tusks, he'd just do Infinity-Infinity = 0
But if the latter is the case, then Tusk wins, because no matter how many times GER tries to reduce Infinity by 1, it'll still be Infinity and never reach 0
GER is such a unique ability. User himself is just a normal human who would die from a gun shot or something, but most characters who can beat him are beyond Universal level threats who can operate outside of time / don't posses intent or something along these lines. You need ridiculously broken powers to beat GER.
This is why I love JoJo. All of the characters have broken abilities, but they're also normal, fragile human beings who could one shot each other
