Very good price for a really nice combo, no need for those overpriced FURITEK stuffs 👌 my max smasher furitek brushless combo is my worst rc stuff purchase ever, my s2pid impulse buy 🤦♂️ hope Injora makes more FMS upgrades available soon 😊
@@TheShopMiniRC of course, definitely no doubt. Same here, I would definitely would too even if it’s much more expensive. I will love them more than you do! 😁 Furitek is over priced in my opinion having no real competitor.
u we're right about checking online for the camel trucks amazon aus r going to have the range rover only in 6 weeks, hey one,s better than none cheers ken
I installed this combo in my ascent18 and feel it is a much smoother esc/motor combo than the Furitek, however, there is very little drag brake even after going into the programmer and setting it to max. overall for the price this is a KILLER deal. So much better than the Furitek
cool kenny i like it cant beat the price i might try one in a smasher / high roller i make my own motor mount,s from alloy plate for the fms and hobby plus used furitec as a template .also. i put trxm LR shell onto a evo pro needed heavier springs and thicker weight oil but its pretty cool super slow super fast gotta love furitec see how the venom holds up allgood so far
as always, thanks for the deep dive. I saw a preview of the furitek esc/motor all in one and wondering where that price point will be compared to this. i'm hoping injora doesn't keep raising its prices.. keep where they are, undercutting market and sell more so their profits stay high while we pay less.. best economy for both. its good that they are using open source which there are so many esc's doing it too which helps the hobby so much keep costs down. these are the type of innovations I was hoping to see coming because things seemed very stagnant for the past 6 months or so.
i mean.. some good wheels and tires go a LONG way. The ascent already has really good modulation and slow crawl... plus it doesnt hurt that the stock motor is no slouch.
Thanks for the Video. Have a trx4m setup setup with meus 2speed box, meus isokinetic axles and meus lcg chassis. Hence there is not enough space for a 180 motor anymore (In fact the lay down servo strikes against the motor, if the shocks suffer some compression ...). So the purple viper might be a good option but perhaps also this motor is not short enough. Therefore 3 question to you, because you seem to have wide knowledge on these things: 1) Can I mount the purple mofo pancake to the trx4m meus 2speed box? 2) If yes, do you know a pinion for the pancake fitting this setup? 3) If yes again, do you see any advantage in running the pancake with the Mofo rockwolf or a Lizard ESC instead of running the pancake with the MBL32? Thanks in advance
So, I have a pancake and a Meus 2 speed sitting here and I’m lookin. ;). The bolt spacing on the mofo pancake is 12.5mm. So is the TRX4M. So that will work, however the shaft on the pancake is 3mm vs the stock/meus motor shaft is 2mm You would have to find a mod4 10-11-12 pinion for the 3mm shaft. 11 is stock and will mesh fine but my guess is those sizes would work and you could, worst case, elongate the motor mount holes on the trans to get a good mesh. It seems like once mounted the shaft lengths will be the same, so you’re good there. As for which esc to use, the furitek bluetooth app is super nice but I think any of the esc will work great.
@@TheShopMiniRC Thanks a lot for your help. I think I purchase the viper. And if it is to long I go with the pancake. Because the rockwolf alone costs nearly the same as the MBL32 together with the viper ... (Mofo sells a 12T mod0.4 3mm pinion, a 11T seems unbuyable ... )
Hard to say, the lizard pro with the Bluetooth app for tuning is WAY WAY better than the PC tool for the Injora. But the price on this injora kit is damn good.
also they've only been out for a week see how they hang in for the long haul and did u watch Kenny showing u how to tune it what a head uck .stick with furitek true tried and tested not saying dont try new stuff maybe wait a bit longer plus thier sold out already anyways
They are a lot quieter than some of the other brands out there. But I Donno if they have a tone most can’t hear but some can… never heard anyone mention anything like that.
I just wanted to say thanks for the stickers I love them
No problem 👍. Glad you love em!!!!
Ill be doing this tomorrow when my receiver gets here. Your video has given me some needed confidence lol. Thanks
Nice!!! I hope it helps you along the way.
@@TheShopMiniRC it did. It's up and running. Thanks

Sorry you’re unhappy with your furitek. We love ours.

Great video, I have an ascent 18 on order. Looks like I'm ordering a new receiver and this kit too.
Enjoy it!!!
Thank you
You're welcome. Thank you for watching.
Great video as usual. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Looking to go with SCX24 platform. Thanks for the video.
Good choice!

Thanks for the insight. We agree that the price is fantastic.
Good bang for the buck!
Very good bang.
beautiful car ❤

There is a ton more innovation on the way.
Sick stuff from injora, like the mb100s so maybe its time to go brushless on the ascent18.
100% recommend.
What do you think is the more substantial first upgrade on this crawler: this brushless esc/motor or a good set of brass beadlock wheels/tires?
i mean.. some good wheels and tires go a LONG way. The ascent already has really good modulation and slow crawl... plus it doesnt hurt that the stock motor is no slouch.
Hello
Great video. Very useful.
Do you know if these esc makes ultrasonic noise ? And if it does. So you if it can cause ear damage ?
No, these esc are much more quiet than some other brands.
Is there any way to buy a replacement programmer ? Please help!!
I’d reach out to Injora directly. They can send you another one.

What did you use to keep using the stock controller?
I mentioned it in the video. It’s a receiver that furitek sells with their ESCs.
I get a accent 18 is the trans plastic gears going to fail ? Something i should get first ?
I haven’t had any issues with the trans gears yet. (In either of my trucks)
@@TheShopMiniRC That is Good to hear. THANK YOU.
Thanks for the great video. I’m assuming I’ll need to order an adapter from this plug to the jst to continue using the stock battery?
Yep, or make your own from the provided cables.
Can you use a furitek esc with thr motor?
Yes
So can you add esc to the stock radio receiver ?
Unfortunately you have to upgrade the rx and tx to go brushless.
@@TheShopMiniRC Thank you :)
What receiver was that you used with the system? Furitek?
yeah, as I mentioned, its one of the rx that come with the furitek system.
Is the furitek venom motor and lizard pro better or worse?
