Hey Ken, I'm wondering if you'll do a build video on a kit that i can't find ANY videos on...? Seems like a great kit at decent price, some fitment issue, and front drive shaft too short... The "Meus Racing SCX24 LCG Chassis Frame Kit Carbon Fiber 132mm Wheelbase" It's around 35 bucks, seems legit. My first carbon chassis. Just bought one, waiting on mail. Also bought the Atlas body with lights, and gonna do a magnet-power-connection. I think I'll paint it blue, maybe do some blue Nexx oil shocks. Very exciting! 😊 I wanted to do carbon fiber lcg and need to save money, so this is what i came up with. Probably a MB100 with 050. Maybe I'll attach another 050 for sh!ts & giggles. (You can rig it on to the motor mount plate if you're clever) 😉 Have a great weekend!
Unfortunately I won’t be doing a build in that chassis. I just have to many others to do and it’s too similar to previous ones I’ve done. That being said, the Meus chassis is fantastic. The OGRC chassis is similar and maybe that build video can help you. ruclips.net/video/fwa6k40MB8I/видео.htmlsi=Oehh9HlLyjTczmVq
@@TheShopMiniRC right on, I'll check that out. Very similar, i had considered that one but didn't want that elevated mount in the front, and this one came a a more complete kit. iirc
I would suggest investing an extra $30 and get the SS driveshafts available thru Injora and the steel trans gears thru Redcat. That way the entire driveline is bulletproof especially when installing and running this combo. Curious.. I dig those wheels, are they the adjustable weight ones from rcawd? Great video as always 👊🏻
Nice! Well, I'll have to put this on the list. At the moment I've got some big med bills but next month I'll be able to splurge a bit. - One question: i looked for your video on making magnetic body mounts that double as quick connect power connections for lights, but i couldn't find it. Did you end up making that video? Thank you for the great info, as usual.
I don’t think I made a video specifically for that…. Just sooo many to make. I might have shown it in another video but I’d have no clue which one. It’s pretty simple, you just need 3 sets of magnets (if your lights use 3 wire, otherwise just 2 sets) Cut the wires and solder them to the magnets on the chassis side and then same on the body side with matching wires.
@@TheShopMiniRC okay I'm gonna go for it! I'm pretty good at soldering, have rewired a couple servos before.. on the inside, was a challenge. Thank you.
Both are fantastic. Personally, I’d go pro though. The venom is a good motor and so is the micro komodo. The lizard lite is NOT as good as the lizard pro.
@@TheShopMiniRC just came in today and just got finished calibrating and what a massive upgrade it is! Had to come back to this vid for a couple references so once again thank you for the videos you make!
Yeah, that’s awesome. Dude, Jim Wolf just won that truck. It was the door price ticket at Walters RC Park here watching 7:43 PM.
He’s gonna love it!
Heck, yeah appreciate you sharing as always too big thumbs up 👍👍 i’ll catch you in the next one until then. Peace and chicken grease 😁👋👋😎
Peace!
loving the pig tailing kenny makes a nice neat install awesome vid as always cheers
Thanks!
Great infomation, you did good showing everything, thanks!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks a ton for watching.
Your videos are as always AWESOME! We have ordered our Venom for our Redcat. Just waiting to receive it!
Thanks a ton my dude!!!
Finally been waiting for that upgrade
It’s good!
Good video. I'm probably going to order this system before my Ascent 18 gets in. Thanks for the informative video.
No problem 👍
Great video. Lots of great tips and thanks for making spend more money 😅
Hahah I’m not trying to make you spend money! I just wanna be sure you know what’s out there ;)
@TheShopMiniRC it's all good. I was thinking of going brushless anyway. I have a AX-24 that's brushless and it's amazing the difference it make.
I ordered this combo almost a month ago. Original release of 3-31. They better have shipped mine lmao
Hope you get it soon!

Metal driveline is always good! And yea, they are the RCawd wheels. We have a video on them as well.

@@MrsRabbit8 I think you’ve got it!
Went to your store....No Stickers??
Sorry, they only do shirts and a big ass sticker. Sent me your address on Facebook and I’ll shoot you some stickers.
Would that starter kit drop into a cr18p evo t hunter and thanks I learn alot here
They make one for the cr18 platform. Should also be the same as the fx118.
Will the Lizard Lite still be a suitable replacement, or the Pro better??
Both are fantastic. Personally, I’d go pro though. The venom is a good motor and so is the micro komodo. The lizard lite is NOT as good as the lizard pro.
I’m looking for a different body for my Fury Wagon any suggestions scale or comp type doesn’t really matter just looking for something different.
Vicious RC. viciousrc.com
that system comes in the evo pro super quick and slow great value have a couple of spare micro,s but the venon seems fine no problem's
Totally agree
Where did you get the work mat/tray?
Never mind! just saw it in your equipment list. Thanks.
Was just about to mention that. ;)
currently waiting for furitek to ship mine and i cant wait
I hope you get it soon, you’re gonna love it.
