@@rcfungamesagreed! Thanks bro! Love your build cuz it’s similar to my build! I’m super impressed with oppai factory lcg chassis for sure. It surprises me everytime I drive it. Hi bro! 👋 Thank you so much bro, I always appreciate you watching. Sounds like you've got your hands full with some awesome projects! Can't wait to see some pictures on Facebook! You have an awesome day Andy, and I'll catch you on the next one!
Nice build. I just finished a similar build only differences are IR40 Oppai chassis, HT SS links, mues iso axles, injora 64mm rock terrain tires with cyberwheelz, and a smaller radiolink 4ch receiver. Nice to se others are having similar performance from this chassis. Also mount the servo from behind on the diamond axles to get more clearance for the horn. You may want to flip the link over too.
Thanks bro, and I apologize for the late reply. It's an awesome chassis and I'm definitely impressed. I have already ordered a few four channel receivers from radio link, as space is very limited in this body. I could have easily mounted the server behind the mount, but I really don't like doing that as if then catches the high clearance links and doesn't allow for full suspension droop. Anyway by putting magnets holding the body it solved that problem. I'm extremely happy with the way it's turned out and it's performing really well. Got a few more things I want to put on it to finish this build. Thank you so much for watching bro, and I really appreciate all the info that you shared. It's always extremely handy. 🤜💥🤛
I can completely understand bro!! I had already ordered my black one when the purple one was released! But like I've said I will get a purple one for the scx24!
On may 1/24 scale IR 60 I painted the cage with a chrome spray paint. Basically this looks like gunmetal with a sheen to it looks awesome. I’m gonna do the same for the other one 1/18 scale

17:34 if probably do semi truck red grease since I work in that type of field Lol. That stuff is used from the king pin (where the trailer attaches) all the way to the wheel hubs and bearings Edit: looks like there’s some spring issues in the left side Lol
Exactly grease is grease and on something this small it's not going to make that much of a difference. As long as it's got something there to provide lubrication and quiet those straight cut gears in the transmission.
Thank you so much my friend, I am very impressed with the end result of this build!! It's performance is outstanding and there is definitely still room for improvement! Ps: send me the parts and I will build it 😅 😁
Thank you very much Jeff, I really appreciate that my friend. So far I've got to say the fat Viper has really impressed me. But now that I've got both brushless motors I will do some testing and I will make a video letting you all know which one I prefer. When it comes to the brushed motors, I like all the torque from the 370 brushed motor and transmission, but personally I still think the original transmission design with the 48t purple motor is better. I haven't got a favorite but, I do like the simplicity of the brushed motor setups. But for a budget brushless setup the fat Viper has got my vote!
I have to ask, I’ve been watching a lot of your videos (really good and very informative BTW!) and I’ve noticed the screwdriver set is really small. What set is that? I have MIP with a 90mm Wera quick release handle but it’s still a little long for some of my builds. Great videos! I love watching them and I’m learning a lot from them! Especially been watching the 6x6 TRX4M build. I may try that one next!
Hello Benjamin, and thank you so much for all the support! Really appreciate you watching my content 🤜🤛 The tool set I am using, is from Injora, I have been using it for 2 years and so far they have held out pretty good. One of the main reasons I purchased it was because they were so small. Making it a lot easier to put some of these small bodies together. Here is a link www.injora.com/products/5pcs-0-9-1-27-1-3-1-5-2-0mm-hexagon-screwdriver-hex-screws-wrench-tools
I wish I would have watched this vid before ordering the IR60 body. Not only does the latch hit the servo horn but it also does not latch at all. The latch needs to moved forward at least 3mm. Initially I was planning to have a bumper printed but it looks like it would be better to print a correctly designed latch tab. The IR40 latch tab sits much further forward than the IR60. Injora needs to redesign the IR60 tab without the offset so that it mimics the IR40's straight down latch tab position.
I totally agree there's definitely something not right about the latch system on the ir60 To use the latch on the front I have to take out one of the screws on the rear mount move the mount forward for it to reach the bumper in the front to latch on. Which just annoyed the heck out of me so I put some magnets instead, which gave a lot more space and it's so much easier to get it on and off. I honestly recommend getting some magnets and doing the same as I did. Besides that it is a great body. But I did inform them as well that I had this issue hopefully they will address it.
@@rcfungames There are many people with this problem. Personally I think somebody at Injora made a serious gaff and placed the latch tab at the rear of the mount instead of the front. I want to fiddle with 3D printing so I will make a latch tab, test fit it on all my chassis and then share the file with other IR60 body TRX4M owners until Injora decides to rectify the issue. I have been tinkering with this latch for 4 days and have made a couple mockups. I just need to create the mockup in CAD so I can start to test fit 3 different designs. My current build uses the universal CF LCG chassis so I also tried to fit it on my other build with normal CF LCG chassis. Same result with the latch missing by 3~4mm. I ordered my IR60 from Injora's store on Amazon and Amazon just want to issue a refund instead of having Injora address the issue.
Hey I just finished the same build but it's on an IR 40 I'm having issues with the motor stuttering and like cutting in and out when I'm going on load from a slower crawl to a little bit faster and that's the only time it stutters
Is there an issue with my gears and or axles? I didn't grind the pinion and I've been trying to adjust settings for ESC I did not make sure the differential was tight might check that and last resort check that pinion gear if its grinding
I also have a small amount of cogging, it runs fine on the slowest crawl but when you go up a little it starts cooking, then it seems to go away. It's very annoying and I've tried everything to get rid of it. It's almost not noticeable when running it on 3s. But it is still there! So I don't think it's something you're doing wrong I think there's something not 100% right with these ESC!
I had to grind the pinion gear because even with it all the way down it was catching the second gear causing a horrible noise and binding. But by grinding away the tips it can no longer catch that gear and runs a lot better. But like I mentioned in the previous comment I also have a tiny amount of cogging at about 15% throttle. But goes away at about 17% throttle! So it doesn't annoy me too much but it is there!!!
@@rcfungames Yea I have been emailing injora and they said to adjust this that and eventually said they will send a replacement... I have seen some builds where they are able to get the cog to go away but trying to figure that out. Let me know if you figure out anything tuning wise. it's probably the motor
