This is a great first mod to any aspiring Nerfers out there on a budget and don’t want anything to complicated. This hard hitting 150FPS Firestrike mod is sure to spark your curiosity and get you wanting, more!

adding a tiny length of fishing line across the back of the brass tube should prevent vacuum loading if you need an example think of the no smoking circle

No, Vacuum loading will pull your dart back into the plunger, and ruin it

Instead of crimping the outer tube on only two sides, next time you might try indenting some friction rings. Get a cheap pipe/tube cutter of the kind that gradually clamps down a rolling cutting wheel and round off the cutting edge of the wheel. Then you can use it to put a uniform indentation all the way around in order to make for a more snug fit.

You would be suprised how the epoxy and unsanded metal burrs , not being exactly smooth effects air flow ..you end up with a back pressure that causes a sort of blow back hammer effect in the chamber. I work with air tools and know how it can effect the air pressure
Could a make a 6mm brass version. I want to be able to take one of these things to an airsoft field and rek scrbz. Sadly there is no nerf community around me

I'm planning on doing a shotgun using mega darts with 3/4 brass tube, however the air tank only can fit 9/16, so what brass tube(s) could I keep pressure fitting to get the air to flow correctly and get it down to 9/16 brass?
Do you have any data with different length barrels to optimize the darts? Does a skar barrel help with accuracy?
Might want to correct the 19/16 brass in description, it currently says 9/1

i tried to make a compressed air modificarion to my nerf retaliator but it somehow exploded not like fire everyware it just launched parts of it all over my workspace

Stock firestrike is more than enough for indoor nerfing! that being said... who doesn't like to have the more powerful version what you give your friends XD

Alternate option: One piece for the long barrel plus a ramming rod
If you are going to claim velocities (even just in the title) where's the chronograph readings to back them up? Also, that barrel looks a bit short for that kind of power.

Why is the trigger gray? Is it normally orange or am I just an idiot?
EDIT: Used Google (I should have from the start lol), and it turns out that Nerf guns actually have region locking. Gray-trigger blasters don't perform as well as other blasters. I think it has to do with AU toy gun laws? The more you know, I guess. Unfortunate that things other than TVs/Videogames/related are region-locked :(

Honestly this blaster just needs a spring upgrade. And to prevent dart rupture with long darts, just stick to short darts and the brass barrel wont be necessary. Personally, In my opinion, I just don't like cutting my blasters. Breaches are cool, but why add one when front loading requires less steps is all I think.

Funny! He made a front loader into a breach loader! If THAT thing is your side arm in you nerf wars then your missing out. Try a slimmed down and internally modified Retaliator

Back in my day, the Firestrike was a top priming Dart Tag blaster with a reverse rail and storage for 5 darts
Are you sure you're not thinking of StrikeFire and Crossfire? (same blaster, but different name depending on whether sold in 1- or 2-pack)

The_Backwoods_Nerfer i have a homemade with a scar barrel that fires 160fps with a scar barrel, and this is hitting about the same as that. I also hit a 30m flat shot
