awesome vid man i was confused for a little bit cause i set my flywheel cages in exact opposite like in every way but i guess it doesn't matter still awesome and comprehensive guide definitely the best iv'e seen shows all the little details a lot of modders skip over or put into a 20 minute documentary.

Can't really mod the stockade, has weird ass uncommon motors
You can always replace the cage altogether. buy an OFP cage, or salvage a cage from an old stryfe hypothetically.

Hey, I did this with a stryfe and installed Cyclone flywheels. Now it takes about 10 seconds for the motors to stop. Tips?
naphen that’s usually what happens, you will have to add motor braking to stop it, but it will reduce the life of your motors
The cyclones are pretty heavy flywheels so after the motors turn off they take longer to spin down as the wheels hold more potential energy compared to stock wheels

This is a bit weird but I have something stuck in my fly wheel and I’m not sure how to get it out because it won’t shoot any darts
I followed this guide step by step and its still not running. I tried to use a 9v battery to test but nothing any tips?
is there a reason you close the shell without showing you put back the trigger plunger that pushes the projectiles ...

Is there any issue having the power Positive go to the motors and the negative to the micro switch? i asked MTB but no answer yet.
Dharmaboy I dont think so, the switch will still act as a circuit breaker so it should be okay. Question is why ?

Do you have to use LiPo batteries? Or can you use 14500's?
You HAVE too. 14500 have low stall current and are dangerous

Difference between fyg nerf darts and elite darts
On most semi auto nerf guns there is a circuit that will break the motors if different batteries are used

It’s of parts that aren’t need all you need to do is bypass the volt restricter and then add higher volt battery’s I use 6 volts and 8 volts

Make sure the hot glue doesn't make it's way into the internals of the switch! It sucks!!

I don't have a soldering iron or a dremel tool and my mum will never let me have one
Without an iron, you can't do rewires. But flush cutters and a hobby knife work instead of a dremel

If the amperage is more than 20A then go for it
